رُبَمَا

2. کفار (آخرت میں مومنوں پر اللہ کی رحمت کے مناظر دیکھ کر) بار بار آرزو کریں گے کہ کاش! وہ مسلمان ہوتےo

2. The disbelievers will often wish (in the Hereafter) that they had been Muslims.

2. (Watching the scenes of Allah’s mercy on the believers in the Hereafter,) the disbelievers will persistently aspire: would that they were Muslims!

2. Rubama yawaddu allatheena kafaroo law kanoo muslimeena

2. De vantro vil gang på gang (når de ser syn av Allahs nåde mot de troende i det hinsidige) ønske seg at de hadde vært muslimer.

2. कुफ्फार (आख़िरत में मोमिनों पर अल्लाह की रहमत के मनाज़िर देखकर) बार-बार आरज़ू करेंगे कि काश! वोह मुसलमान होते।

২. কাফেরেরা (পরকালে মুমিনগণের প্রতি আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহের দৃশ্য দেখে) বারবার আরয করবে যে, হায়! যদি তারা মুসলমান হতো!

3. آپ (غمگین نہ ہوں) انہیں چھوڑ دیجئے وہ کھاتے (پیتے) رہیں اور عیش کرتے رہیں اور (ان کی) جھوٹی امیدیں انہیں (آخرت سے) غافل رکھیں پھر وہ عنقریب (اپنا انجام) جان لیں گےo

3. Leave them to eat and enjoy themselves, and let false hope distract them, for soon they will know.

3. (Feel not aggrieved.) Leave them. Let them eat (and drink) and make merry and let (their) false hopes keep them negligent (of the Hereafter). Then they will come to know (their end) soon.

3. Tharhum yakuloo wayatamattaAAoo wayulhihimu alamalu fasawfa yaAAlamoona

3. (Bli du ikke trist), la dem være, la dem spise (og drikke) og leve luksuriøst, og la deres falske håp holde dem forsømmelige (fra det hinsidige), snart vil de få vite (om sin ende).

3. आप (ग़मगीन न हों) उन्हें छोड़ दीजिए वोह खाते (पीते) रहें और ऐश करते रहें और (उनकी) झूटी उम्मीदें उन्हें (आख़िरत से) ग़ाफिल रखें फिर वोह अ़नक़रीब (अपना अंजाम) जान लेंगे।

৩. আপনি (চিন্তিত হবেন না,) তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দিন, তারা খেতে (আর পান করতে) থাকুক এবং উপভোগ করতে থাকুক। আর (তাদের) মিথ্যা আশা তাদেরকে (পরকাল থেকে) উদাসীন রাখুক। অতঃপর তারা অচিরেই (নিজেদের পরিণতি) জেনে যাবে।

4. اور ہم نے کوئی بھی بستی ہلاک نہیں کی مگر یہ کہ اُس کے لئے ایک معلوم نوشتۂ (قانون) تھا (جس کی انہوں نے خلاف ورزی کی اور اپنے انجام کو جا پہنچے)o

4. We have never destroyed any town, but it had a known decree.

4. And never have We destroyed any township, except that there was for them a known inscription (law, which they violated and met their fate).

4. Wama ahlakna min qaryatin illa walaha kitabun maAAloomun

4. Og Vi har aldri utslettet noen by uten at det var (en) nedskrevet (lov) for det (som de brøt og derfor møtte sin undergang).

4. और हमने कोई भी बस्ती हलाक नहीं की मगर ये कि उसके लिए एक मालूम नविश्तए (क़ानून) था (जिसकी उन्होंने ख़िलाफ वर्ज़ी की और अपने अंजाम को जा पहुंचे) ।

৪. আর আমরা কোনো জনপদ ধ্বংস করিনি, এর জন্যে একটি নির্দিষ্ট বিধান ব্যতীত (যা তারা লঙ্ঘন করেছে এবং নিজেদের পরিণতি ডেকে এনেছে )।

5. کوئی بھی قوم (قانونِ عروج و زوال کی) اپنی مقررہ مدت سے نہ آگے بڑھ سکتی ہے اور نہ پیچھے ہٹ سکتی ہےo

5. No nation can bring their time forward, nor can they delay it.

5. No people can go beyond their appointed term, nor can they step back (under the law of rise and fall).

5. Ma tasbiqu min ommatin ajalaha wama yastakhiroona

5. Intet folk kan foregripe sin fastsatte tid (bestemmelsen om storhetstid og nedgangstid), og ei heller kan de utsette den.

5. कोई भी क़ौम (क़ानूने उरूजो ज़वाल की) अपनी मुक़र्ररा मुद्दत से न आगे बढ़ सकती है और न पीछे हट सकती है।

৫. কোনো সম্প্রদায়ই (উত্থান-পতনের বিধানে) তাদের নির্ধারিত সীমা থেকে না অগ্রসর হতে পারবে, আর না পিছু হটতে পারবে।

6. اور (کفار گستاخی کرتے ہوئے) کہتے ہیں: اے وہ شخص جس پر قرآن اتارا گیا ہے! بیشک تم دیوانے ہوo

6. And they say: ‘O you to whom the Reminder has been revealed! You are indeed insane.

6. And (the disbelievers) say (insolently): ‘O man on whom this Qur’an has been revealed, indeed you are insane.

6. Waqaloo ya ayyuha allathee nuzzila AAalayhi alththikru innaka lamajnoonun

6. Og (uforskammet) sier de vantro: «Å, du som har fått åpenbart Koranen! Sannelig, du er vanvittig.

6.और (कुफ्फार गुस्ताख़ी करते हुए) कहते हैं: ऐ वोह शख़्स जिस पर क़ुरआन उतारा गया है बेशक तुम दीवाने हो।

৬. আর (কাফেরেরা শিষ্টাচার লঙ্ঘন করে) বললো, ‘ওহে! যার উপর কুরআন অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, নিশ্চয়ই তুমি উন্মাদ।

7. تم ہمارے پاس فرشتوں کو کیوں نہیں لے آتے اگر تم سچے ہوo

7. Why do you not bring us the angels if you are truthful?’

7. Why do you not bring us angels if you are truthful?’

7. Law ma tateena bialmalaikati in kunta mina alssadiqeena

7. Hvorfor bringer du ikke engler til oss, hvis du er av de sannferdige?»

7. तुम हमारे पास फरिश्तों को क्यों नहीं ले आते अगर तुम सच्चे हो?

৭. তুমি আমাদের নিকট ফেরেশতাদের কেন উপস্থিত করছো না, যদি তুমি সত্যবাদী হও?’

8. ہم فرشتوں کو نہیں اتارا کرتے مگر (فیصلۂ) حق کے ساتھ (یعنی جب عذاب کی گھڑی آپہنچے تو اس کے نفاذ کے لئے اتارتے ہیں) اور اس وقت انہیں مہلت نہیں دی جاتیo

8. (Tell them:) We do not send down the angels, but with (the command of execution of) the judgement. And then they will not be granted any respite.

8. We do not send down angels but with the (judgment of) truth (i.e., We send them down to execute the torment when its time approaches), and they are not granted respite at that time.

8. Ma nunazzilu almalaikata illa bialhaqqi wama kanoo ithan munthareena

8. Vi pleier ikke å nedsende englene, unntatt med sannheten (sannhetens dom; når pinens time ankommer, så sender Vi dem for å utføre den), og da får de ingen nådetid.

8. हम फरिश्तों को नहीं उतारा करते मगर (फैसलए) हक़्क़ के साथ (यानी जब अ़ज़ाब की घड़ी आ पहुंचे तो उसके निफाज़ के लिए उतारते हैं) और उस वक़्त उन्हें मोह्‌लत नहीं दी जाती।

৮. আমরা ফেরেশতাগণকে সত্য (ফায়সালা) সহকারেই পাঠাই। (অর্থাৎ যখন শাস্তির মুহূর্ত আসে, তখন তা বাস্তবায়নের জন্যে তাদেরকে অবতীর্ণ করি) আর ওই সময়ে তাদেরকে কোনো অবকাশ দেয়া হয় না।

9. بیشک یہ ذکرِ عظیم (قرآن) ہم نے ہی اتارا ہے اور یقیناً ہم ہی اس کی حفاظت کریں گےo

9. Indeed, We have revealed the Reminder, and surely, We are its Protectors.

9. Assuredly, We alone have revealed this Glorious Admonition (the Qur’an), and surely We alone will guard it.

9. Inna nahnu nazzalna alththikra wainna lahu lahafithoona

9. Sannelig, det er Vi som har åpenbart denne storslagne formaningen (Koranen), og i sannhet, det er Vi som skal vokte den.

9. बेशक ये ज़िक्रे अ़ज़ीम (क़ुरआन) हमने ही उतारा है और यक़ीनन हम ही इसकी हिफाज़त करेंगे।

৯. নিশ্চয়ই এ মহান যিকির (কুরআন) আমরাই অবতীর্ণ করেছি এবং অবশ্যই আমরাই এর সংরক্ষণ করবো।

10. اور بیشک ہم نے آپ سے قبل پہلی امتوں میں بھی رسول بھیجے تھےo

10. We indeed sent (messengers) before you to former communities.

10. And We indeed sent Messengers before you as well amongst the earlier generations.

10. Walaqad arsalna min qablika fee shiyaAAi alawwaleena

10. Og sannelig, Vi sendte også sendebud før deg i de henfarne generasjonene.

10. और बेशक हमने आपसे क़ब्ल पहली उम्मतों में भी रसूल भेजे थे।

১০.আর নিশ্চয়ই আমরা আপনার পূর্বে পূর্ববর্তী উম্মতের মাঝেও রাসূল প্রেরণ করেছিলাম।

11. اور ان کے پاس کوئی رسول نہیں آتا تھا مگر یہ کہ وہ اس کے ساتھ مذاق کیا کرتے تھےo

11. And never did a messenger come to them, but they ridiculed him.

11. And there did not come to them any Messenger but they would mock him.

11. Wama yateehim min rasoolin illa kanoo bihi yastahzioona

11. Og intet sendebud kom til dem som de ikke latterliggjorde.

11. और उनके पास कोई रसूल नहीं आता था मगर ये कि वोह उसके साथ मज़ाक़ किया करते थे।

১১. আর তাদের নিকট এমন কোনো রাসূল আগমন করেননি যাঁকে তারা ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপ করতো না।

12. اسی طرح ہم اس (تمسخر اور استہزاء) کو مجرموں کے دلوں میں داخل کر دیتے ہیںo

12. That is how We pave the way for mockery and disbelief to enter the hearts of the guilty.

12. That is how We infuse this (mockery and ridicule) into the hearts of the sinners;

12. Kathalika naslukuhu fee quloobi almujrimeena

12. Slik lar Vi den (latterliggjøringen) fylle syndernes hjerte,

12. इसी तरह हम उस (तमस्ख़ुर और इस्तेह्‌ज़ाअ) को मुज्रिमों के दिलों में दाख़िल कर देते हैं।

১২. এভাবে আমরা এ (বিদ্রুপ) প্রবণতা অপরাধীদের অন্তরে প্রবিষ্ট করি।

13. یہ لوگ اِس (قرآن) پر ایمان نہیں لائیں گے اور بیشک پہلوں کی (یہی) روش گزر چکی ہےo

13. They do not believe in this (Qur’an), although the precedent of the ancients (destroyed before them) has already passed.

13. These people will not believe in this (Qur’an), and (this) is what has been the practice of the bygone people.

13. La yuminoona bihi waqad khalat sunnatu alawwaleena

13. de vil ikke anta troen på den (Koranen), og uten tvil var dette også praksisen til de henfarne.

13. ये लोग इस (क़ुरआन) पर ईमान नहीं लाएंगे और बेशक पहलों की (येही) रविश गुज़र चुकी है।

১৩. এসব লোক (এ কুরআন)-এর উপর ঈমান আনয়ন করবে না। আর পূর্ববর্তীরাও (এমনই) রীতিতে অতিবাহিত হয়ে গিয়েছে।

14. اور اگر ہم ان پر آسمان کا کوئی دروازہ (بھی) کھول دیں (اور ان کے لئے یہ بھی ممکن بنا دیں کہ) وہ سارا دن اس میں (سے) اوپر چڑھتے رہیںo

14. If We were to open a gateway to heaven for them so that they could continually ascend through it,

14. And if We open to them some gate in the heaven (and also make this possible for them that) they keep ascending through (it) the whole day,

14. Walaw fatahna AAalayhim baban mina alssamai fathalloo feehi yaAArujoona

14. Og hvis Vi skulle åpne en port i himmelen for dem (og også gjøre mulig for dem) at de stiger opp gjennom den hele dagen lang,

14. और अगर हम उन पर आस्मान का कोई दरवाज़ा (भी) खोल दें (और उनके लिए ये भी मुम्किन बना दें कि) वोह सारा दिन उसमें (से) ऊपर चढ़ते रहें।

১৪. আর যদি আমরা তাদের জন্যে আকাশের কোনো দরোজা(ও) খুলে দেই, (আর তাদের জন্যে এও সম্ভব করে দেই যে,) তারা সারাদিন এর (মাধ্যমে) উপরে আরোহণ করতে থাকে

15. (تب بھی) یہ لوگ یقیناً (یہ) کہیں گے کہ ہماری آنکھیں (کسی حیلہ و فریب کے ذریعے) باندھ دی گئی ہیں بلکہ ہم لوگوں پر جادو کر دیا گیا ہےo

15. they would (still) say: ‘Indeed, our eyes are hallucinated; rather, we are a bewitched people!’

15. (Even then) they will certainly say (this): ‘Our eyes have been hypnotized (through some magic trick and deceit), rather we are spellbound.’

15. Laqaloo innama sukkirat absaruna bal nahnu qawmun mashooroona

15. ville de visselig (fortsatt) si: «Øynene våre må ha blitt trollbundet (ved noe magi), faktisk er vi et forhekset folk!»

15. (तब भी) ये लोग यक़ीनन (ये) कहेंगे कि हमारी आंखें (किसी हीलाओ फरेब के ज़रीए) बांध दी गई हैं बल्कि हम लोगों पर जादू कर दिया गया है।

,১৫. (তবুও) এরা অবশ্যই (এরূপ) বলবে, ‘আমাদের চক্ষুকে (কোনো কৌশল ও চক্রান্তের দ্বারা) সম্মোহিত করা হয়েছে। নতুবা আমাদের উপর যাদু করা হয়েছে।’

16. اور بیشک ہم نے آسمان میں (کہکشاؤں کی صورت میں ستاروں کی حفاظت کے لئے) قلعے بنائے اور ہم نے اس (خلائی کائنات) کو دیکھنے والوں کے لئے آراستہ کر دیاo

16. Indeed, We have set up constellations (of stars) in the sky (in the form of galaxies) and adorned them for the onlookers.

16. And indeed, We brought into existence constellations in the heavens (in the form of galaxies to safeguard the planets), and adorned this (spatial universe) for the beholders.

16. Walaqad jaAAalna fee alssamai buroojan wazayyannaha lilnnathireena

16. Og sannelig, Vi har skapt festninger i himmelen (i form av galakser for å beskytte stjernene), og Vi gjorde det (verdensrommet) tiltrekkende for dets beskuere.

16. और बेशक हमने आस्मान में (कहकशाओं की सूरत में सितारों की हिफाज़त के लिए) क़िल्ए बनाए और हमने उस (ख़लाई काइनात) को देखने वालों के लिए आरास्ता कर दिया।

১৬. আর নিশ্চিত আমরা আকাশে (গ্রহ-নক্ষত্রকে রক্ষার জন্যে ছায়াপথের আকারে) তারকামন্ডল সাজিয়েছি। আর আমরা একে (এ শূন্য জগতকে) সুসজ্জিত করেছি প্রত্যক্ষকারীদের জন্যে ।

17. اور ہم نے اس (آسمانی کائنات کے نظام) کو ہر مردود شیطان (یعنی ہر سرکش قوت کے شرانگیز عمل) سے محفوظ کر دیاo

17. And We have protected them from every outcast Satan (i.e. every destructive force),

17. And We have ensured the protection of this (system of heavenly universe) from every outcast satan (i.e., from the destructive phenomenon of every rebellious force).

17. Wahafithnaha min kulli shaytanin rajeemin

17. Og Vi har sikret det (himmelske universets system) mot enhver utstøtt djevel (enhver opprørsk krafts handling som fører til ondskap),

17. और हमने उस (आस्मानी काइनात के निज़ाम) को हर मर्दूद शैतान (यानी हर सरकश क़ुव्वत के शर्र अंगेज़ अ़मल) से महफूज कर दिया।

১৭. আর আমরা একে (এ ঐশী জগতের নিয়মকে) রক্ষা করেছি প্রত্যেক বিতাড়িত শয়তান থেকে (অর্থাৎ প্রত্যেক অবাধ্য শক্তির অনিষ্টকর কর্মকান্ড থেকে);

18. مگر جو کوئی بھی چوری چھپے سننے کے لئے آگھسا تو اس کے پیچھے ایک (جلتا) چمکتا شہاب ہو جاتا ہےo

18. except for the one who steals a hearing, then a discernible flame (such as a shooting star or meteor) follows him.

18. But anyone who tries to eavesdrop, an illuminating (i.e., blazing) meteor follows it.

18. Illa mani istaraqa alssamAAa faatbaAAahu shihabun mubeenun

18. men den som forsøker å tyvlytte, han blir forfulgt av en (glødende) lyssterk ildkule!

18. मगर जो कोई भी चोरी छुपे सुनने के लिए आ घुसा तो उसके पीछे एक (जलता) चमकता शिहाब हो जाता है।

১৮. তবে কেউ চুপিচুপি শ্রবণ করতে ঘেঁষলে তার পশ্চাতে এক (জ্বলন্ত) প্রদীপ্ত শিখা পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করে।

19. اور زمین کو ہم نے (گولائی کے باوجود) پھیلا دیا اور ہم نے اس میں (مختلف مادوں کو باہم ملا کر) مضبوط پہاڑ بنا دیئے اور ہم نے اس میں ہر جنس کو (مطلوبہ) توازن کے مطابق نشو و نما دیo

19. As for the earth, We have spread it out and set firm mountains in it. And We caused to grow in it every well-balanced thing.

19. And We have spread out the earth (despite its being round), and We brought about firm mountains in it (by allying different elements together), and in it We provided means of growth to all species in (requisite) proportion.

19. Waalarda madadnaha waalqayna feeha rawasiya waanbatna feeha min kulli shayin mawzoonin

19. Og Vi spredde jorden (til tross for at den er rund), og Vi skapte faste fjell på den (ved å slå sammen forskjellige substanser), og Vi ga til alle arter på den midler til vekst i samsvar (med deres behov).

19. और ज़मीन को हमने (गोलाई के बावुजूद) फैला दिया और हमने उसमें (मुख़्तलिफ माद्दों को बाहम मिला कर) मज़बूत पहाड़ बना दिए और हमने उसमें हर जिन्स को (मत्लूबा) तवाजु़न के मुताबिक़ नश्वोनुमा दी।

১৯. আর (গোলাকার হওয়া সত্তেও) পৃথিবীকে আমরা বিস্তৃত করেছি এবং এতে (বিভিন্ন উপকরণের সংমিশ্রণে) সুদৃঢ় পর্বতমালা সৃষ্টি করেছি। আর আমরা এতে (কাঙ্ক্ষিত) মাত্রা অনুযায়ী সকল প্রজাতির বিকাশ ঘটিয়েছি।

20. اور ہم نے اس میں تمہارے لئے اسبابِ معیشت پیدا کئے اور ان (انسانوں، جانوروں اور پرندوں) کے لئے بھی جنہیں تم رزق مہیا نہیں کرتےo

20. And We have placed in it (various) means of livelihood for you and all those (creatures) to whom you do not provide sustenance.

20. And in it We generated for you means of subsistence and also for those (human beings, animals and birds) whom you do not provide for.

20. WajaAAalna lakum feeha maAAayisha waman lastum lahu biraziqeena

20. Og Vi skapte på den midler til livsopphold for dere og for de (menneskene, dyrene og fuglene) som dere ikke forsyner.

20. और हमने उसमें तुम्हारे लिए अस्बाबे मईशत पैदा किए और उन (इंसानों, जानवरों और परिन्दों) के लिए भी जिन्हें तुम रिज़्क़ मुहय्या नहीं करते।

২০. আর আমরা এতে তোমাদের জন্যে জীবনোপকরণ সৃষ্টি করেছি আর (মানুষ, প্রাণী ও পাখি) এসবের জন্যেও যাদেরকে তোমরা রিযিক সরবরাহ করো না।

21. اور (کائنات) کی کوئی بھی چیز ایسی نہیں ہے مگر یہ کہ ہمارے پاس اس کے خزانے ہیں اور ہم اسے صرف معیّن مقدار کے مطابق ہی اتارتے رہتے ہیںo

21. And there is not a thing (on this earth), but its means of sustenance are with Us, and We do not send it down except in a precise measure.

21. And there is not a thing (in the universe) but that We have its treasures with Us, and We send it down only according to a fixed quantity.

21. Wain min shayin illa AAindana khazainuhu wama nunazziluhu illa biqadarin maAAloomin

21. Og det finnes ingenting (i universet) som ikke har sitt forrådskammer hos Oss, men Vi nedsender det kun i en bestemt mengde.

21. और (काइनात) की कोई भी चीज़ ऐसी नहीं है मगर ये कि हमारे पास उसके ख़ज़ाने हैं और हम उसे सिर्फ़ मुअ़य्यन मिक़्दार के मुताबिक़ ही उतारते रहते हैं।

২১. আর (মহাবিশ্বে) এমন কোনো বস্তুই নেই যার ধন-ভান্ডার আমাদের নিকট নেই। আর আমরা একে কেবল নির্ধারিত পরিমাণ অনুযায়ী সরবরাহ করে থাকি।

22. اور ہم ہواؤں کو بادلوں کا بوجھ اٹھائے ہوئے بھیجتے ہیں پھر ہم آسمان کی جانب سے پانی اتارتے ہیں پھر ہم اسے تم ہی کو پلاتے ہیں اور تم اس کے خزانے رکھنے والے نہیں ہوo

22. And We send the fertilising winds, then send down water from the clouds, so that We provide it for you to drink. And you are not the keepers of its resources.

22. And We send winds carrying the burden of clouds. Then We pour down water from the sky. Then it is you whom We give it to drink, and it is not you who maintain its reservoirs.

22. Waarsalna alrriyaha lawaqiha faanzalna mina alssamai maan faasqaynakumoohu wama antum lahu bikhazineena

22. Og Vi sender vindene bærende på skyenes tyngde, så sender Vi ned fra himmelen vann, derpå skjenker Vi det til dere for å drikke, og dere har ikke dets forrådskammer.

22. और हम हवाओं को बादलों का बोझ उठाए हुए भेजते हैं फिर हम आस्मान की जानिब से पानी उतारते हैं फिर हम उसे तुम ही को पिलाते हैं और तुम उसके ख़ज़ाने रखने वाले नहीं हो।

২২. আর আমরা মেঘমালা বহনকারী হিসেবে প্রেরণ করি বায়ু, অতঃপর আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করি। এরপর আমরা তোমাদেরকে তা পান করাই। আর তোমরা এর ধন-ভান্ডারের সংরক্ষণকারী নও।

23. اور بیشک ہم ہی جلاتے ہیں اور مارتے ہیں اور ہم ہی (سب کے) وارث (و مالک) ہیںo

23. Indeed, it is We Who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritors (i.e. the Owners of everything).

23. And indeed, We alone give life and cause death, and We alone are the Inheritor (and the Owner of all).

23. Wainna lanahnu nuhyee wanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoona

23. Og sannelig, det er Vi som gir liv og forårsaker død, og Vi alene er alles arvtaker (den sanne Eieren av alt).

23. और बेशक हम ही जिलाते हैं और मारते हैं और हम ही (सबके) वारिस (व मालिक) हैं।

২৩. আর প্রকৃতপক্ষে আমরাই জীবন দান করি এবং মৃত্যু ঘটাই। আর আমরাই (সকল কিছুর) উত্তরাধিকারী (এবং মালিক)।

24. اور بیشک ہم اُن کو بھی جانتے ہیں جو تم سے پہلے گزر چکے اور بیشک ہم بعد میں آنے والوں کو بھی جانتے ہیںo

24. And We indeed know those of you who were predecessors, and We indeed know the successors.

24. And surely, We know those who lived before you, and We also know those who will come after you.

24. Walaqad AAalimna almustaqdimeena minkum walaqad AAalimna almustakhireena

24. Og uten tvil, Vi kjenner til dem som var før dere, og uten tvil, Vi kjenner til dem som vil komme.

24. और बेशक हम उनको भी जानते हैं जो तुमसे पहले गुज़र चुके और बेशक हम बाद में आने वालों को भी जानते हैं।

২৪. আর নিশ্চয়ই আমরা তাদের সম্পর্কে জানি যারা তোমাদের পূর্বে অতিবাহিত হয়েছে এবং আমরা তাদের সম্পর্কেও জানি যারা পরবর্তীতে আগমন করবে।

25. اور بیشک آپ کا رب ہی تو انہیں (روزِ قیامت) جمع فرمائے گا۔ بیشک وہ بڑی حکمت والا خوب جاننے والا ہےo

25. Indeed, your Lord is the One Who will gather them (on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.

25. Verily, it is your Lord Who will gather them together (on the Day of Resurrection). Surely, He is Most Wise, All-Knowing.

25. Wainna rabbaka huwa yahshuruhum innahu hakeemun AAaleemun

25. Og sannelig, Herren din vil samle dem sammen (på oppstandelsens dag). Sannelig, Han er mest vis, allvitende.

25. और बेशक आपका रब ही तो उन्हें (रोजे़ क़ियामत) जमा फरमाएगा। बेशक वोह बड़ी हिक्मत वाला ख़ूब जानने वाला है।

২৫. আর নিশ্চয়ই আপনার প্রতিপালকই তো তাদেরকে (কিয়ামত দিবসে) সমবেত করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি প্রজ্ঞাবান, সর্বজ্ঞ।

26. اور بیشک ہم نے انسان کی (کیمیائی) تخلیق ایسے خشک بجنے والے گارے سے کی جو (پہلے) سِن رسیدہ (اور دھوپ اور دیگر طبیعیاتی اور کیمیائی اثرات کے باعث تغیر پذیر ہو کر) سیاہ بو دار ہو چکا تھاo

26. Indeed, We created human being from sounding dried clay, moulded from ageing, dark mud.

26. And indeed, We originated man’s (chemical) genesis from that dry sounding clay which, (first) having grown old (and under the heat of the sun and other chemical and biological effects), had turned into black stinking mud.

26. Walaqad khalaqna alinsana min salsalin min hamain masnoonin

26. Og sannelig, Vi lot menneskets (kjemiske) skapelse oppstå av en tørr, ringende leire, som var av høyere alder, (under hete og av andre biologiske og kjemiske påvirkninger hadde den forandret seg til) et stinkende, mørkt mudder.

26. और बेशक हमने इंसान की (कीमियाई) तख़्लीक़ ऐसे खु़श्क बजने वाले गारे से की जो (पहले) सिन रसीदा (और धूप और दीगर तबीइय्याती और कीमियाई असरात के बाइस तग़य्युर पज़ीर होकर) सियाह बूदार हो चुका था।

২৬. আর নিশ্চয়ই আমরা মানুষের (রাসায়নিক) সৃষ্টি শুকনো ঠনঠনে কাঁদা থেকে করেছি যা (প্রথমে) অত্যধিক পুরনো (এবং সূর্যালোক ও অন্যান্য জৈবিক ও রাসায়নিক প্রভাবের কারণে ছিল) কালো গন্ধময়।

27. اور اِس سے پہلے ہم نے جنّوں کو شدید جلا دینے والی آگ سے پیدا کیا جس میں دھواں نہیں تھاo

27. As for the jinn, We created them earlier from scorching smokeless fire.

27. And We created jinn before this from a smokeless blazing fire.

27. Waaljanna khalaqnahu min qablu min nari alssamoomi

27. Og før det skapte Vi dsjinnene av røykløs forbrennende ild.

27. और उससे पहले हमने जिन्नों को शदीद जला देने वाली आग से पैदा किया जिसमें धुवां नहीं था।

২৭. আর এরপূর্বে আমরা জ্বিনদেরকে ধোঁয়াবিহীন প্রজ্বলিত আগুন থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছি।

28. اور (وہ واقعہ یاد کیجئے) جب آپ کے رب نے فرشتوں سے فرمایا کہ میں سِن رسیدہ (اور) سیاہ بودار، بجنے والے گارے سے ایک بشری پیکر پیدا کرنے والا ہوںo

28. And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: ‘Indeed I am going to create a human from sounding dried clay, moulded from ageing, dark mud.

28. And (recall) when your Lord said to the angels: ‘I am about to create a human organism from old (and) black stinking, resounding mud.

28. Waith qala rabbuka lilmalaikati innee khaliqun basharan min salsalin min hamain masnoonin

28. Og (kom i hu den hendelsen) da Herren din sa til englene: «Jeg er i ferd med å skape et menneske av en tørr, ringende leire, som var et stinkende mørkt mudder av høyere alder.

28. और (वोह वाक़िआ याद कीजिए) जब आपके रब ने फरिश्तों से फरमाया कि मैं सिन रसीदा (और) सियाह बूदार, बजने वाले गारे से एक बशरी पैकर पैदा करने वाला हूं।

২৮. আর (সে ঘটনার কথা স্মরণ করুন) যখন আপনার প্রতিপালক ফেরেশতাদেরকে বললেন, ‘আমি অতি পুরনো (এবং) কালো গন্ধময়, ঠনঠনে কাঁদা মাটি থেকে এক মানব অবয়ব সৃষ্টি করবো।

29. پھر جب میں اس کی (ظاہری) تشکیل کو کامل طور پر درست حالت میں لا چکوں اور اس پیکرِ (بشری کے باطن) میں اپنی (نورانی) روح پھونک دوں تو تم اس کے لئے سجدہ میں گر پڑناo

29. So when I have proportioned him and breathed My Spirit into him, then fall down in prostration before him.’

29. So when I accomplish the perfection of his (physical) constitution into his real being, and breathe My (divine) spirit into (the inner self of) this (human physical) organism, then fall down prostrate before him.’

29. Faitha sawwaytuhu wanafakhtu feehi min roohee faqaAAoo lahu sajideena

29. Når Jeg har formet hans (fysiske) form i dens fullkomne skikkelse og blåser Min (guddommelige) ånd i han (i hans indre), så fall på kne med ansiktet ned for ham i respekt.»

29. फिर जब मैं उसकी (ज़ाहिरी) तश्कील को कामिल तौर पर दुरुस्त हालत में ला चुकूं और उस पैकरे (बशरी के बातिन) में अपनी (नूरानी) रूह फूंक दूं तो तुम उसके लिए सज्दे में गिर पड़ना।

২৯. অতঃপর যখন আমি এর (বাহ্যিক) গঠনকে পরিপূর্ণরূপে যথাযথ অবস্থায় নিয়ে আসবো এবং এতে (এ মানব অবয়বের অভ্যন্তরে) আমার (নূরানী) রূহ ফুঁকে দেবো, তখন তোমরা তার প্রতি সেজদায় লুটিয়ে পড়বে।’

30. پس (اس پیکرِ بشری کے اندر نورِ ربانی کا چراغ جلتے ہی) سارے کے سارے فرشتوں نے سجدہ کیاo

30. So the angels prostrated, all of them together,

30. So, (no sooner did the light of Allah’s effulgence illumine the human organism than) all the angels fell down in prostration together,

30. Fasajada almalaikatu kulluhum ajmaAAoona

30. Så (idet det guddommelige lyset begynte å skinne i det menneskelige vesenets indre,) falt alle englene på kne med ansiktet ned for ham i respekt,

30. पस (उस पैकरे बशरी के अंदर नूरे रब्बानी का चिराग़ जलते ही) सारे के सारे फरिश्तों ने सज्दा किया।

৩০. অতঃপর (এ মানব অবয়বের অভ্যন্তরে আল্লাহ্‌র নূরের দ্যুতি জ্বলে উঠতেই) ফেরেশতাগণ সকলেই সেজদা করলো

31. سوائے ابلیس کے، اس نے سجدہ کرنے والوں کے ساتھ ہونے سے انکار کر دیاo

31. but Iblis (did not). He refused to be with those who prostrated.

31. Except Iblis. He refused to join those who prostrated themselves.

31. Illa ibleesa aba an yakoona maAAa alssajideena

31. unntatt Iblīs (Satan), han nektet å være med dem som falt på kne med ansiktet ned i respekt.

31. सिवाए इब्लीस के, उसने सज्दा करने वालों के साथ होने से इन्कार कर दिया।

,৩১. ইবলীস ব্যতীত, সে সেজদাকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতে অস্বীকার করলো।

32. (اللہ نے) ارشاد فرمایا: اے ابلیس! تجھے کیا ہو گیا ہے کہ تو سجدہ کرنے والوں کے ساتھ نہ ہواo

32. He (Allah) said: ‘O Iblis! What excuse do you have that you are not with those who have prostrated?’

32. (Allah) said: ‘O Iblis, what has happened to you that you have not joined those who have prostrated themselves?’

32. Qala ya ibleesu ma laka alla takoona maAAa alssajideena

32. Allah sa: «Å, Iblīs (Satan)! Hva feiler det deg siden du valgte å ikke være sammen med dem som falt på kne med ansiktet ned i respekt?»

32. (अल्लाह ने) इर्शाद फरमाया: ऐ इब्लीस! तुझे क्या हो गया है कि तू सज्दा करने वालों के साथ न हुआ।

৩২. (আল্লাহ্) ইরশাদ ফরমালেন, ‘হে ইবলীস! তোমার কী হলো যে তুমি সেজদাকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হলে না?’

33. (ابلیس نے) کہا: میں ہر گز ایسا نہیں (ہو سکتا) کہ بشر کو سجدہ کروں جسے تو نے سِن رسیدہ (اور) سیاہ بودار، بجنے والے گارے سے تخلیق کیا ہےo

33. He (Iblis) said: ‘I cannot be the one to prostrate before a human being whom You have created from dried clay, formed from ageing, dark mud.’

33. (Iblis) replied: ‘I cannot be the one who should fall down prostrate before a human being You have created from old (and) black stinking, sounding mud.’

33. Qala lam akun liasjuda libasharin khalaqtahu min salsalin min hamain masnoonin

33. Iblīs (Satan) sa: «Jeg kan aldri være slik at jeg kneler med ansiktet ned i respekt for et menneske som Du har skapt av en tørr, ringende leire, som var et stinkende, mørkt mudder av høyere alder!»

33. (इब्लीस ने) कहा: मैं हर्गिज़़ ऐसा नहीं (हो सकता) कि बशर को सज्दा करूं जिसे तूने सिन रसीदा (और) सियाह बूदार, बजने वाले गारे से तख़्लीक़ किया है।

৩৩. (ইবলীস) বললো, ‘আমি কখনো মানুষকে সেজদা করতে পারবো না যাকে তুমি অতি পুরনো (এবং) কালো গন্ধময় ঠনঠনে কাঁদা থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছো’।

34. (اللہ نے) فرمایا: تو یہاں سے نکل جا پس بیشک تو مردود (راندۂ درگاہ) ہےo

34. He (Allah) said: ‘Get out from here (i.e. Paradise). For surely you are accursed.

34. (Allah) said: ‘Then get out from here, for you are indeed the cursed one (the outcast).

34. Qala faokhruj minha fainnaka rajeemun

34. Allah sa: «Kom deg ut herfra! Sannelig, du er utstøtt (forvist)!

34. (अल्लाह ने) फरमाया: तू यहां से निकल जा पस बेशक तू मर्दूद (रान्दए दरगाह) है।

৩৪. (আল্লাহ্) বলেন, ‘তবে তুমি এখান থেকে বের হয়ে যাও। অতঃপর নিশ্চয়ই তুমি অভিশপ্ত (সমাজচ্যুত)।

35. اور بیشک تجھ پر روزِ جزا تک لعنت (پڑتی) رہے گیo

35. And, indeed, the curse shall be upon you till the Day of Judgement.’

35. And, verily, the curse will (persistently) rest upon you till the Day of Recompense.’

35. Wainna AAalayka allaAAnata ila yawmi alddeeni

35. Og sannelig skal forbannelsen være over deg (slå deg vedvarende) til dommens dag.»

35. और बेशक तुझ पर रोज़े जज़ा तक लानत (पड़ती) रहेगी।

৩৫. আর নিশ্চয়ই তোমার উপর প্রতিদান দিবস পর্যন্ত (অবিরাম) লা’নত থাকবে।’

36. اُس نے کہا: اے پروردگار! پس تو مجھے اُس دن تک (زندہ رہنے کی) مہلت دے دے جس دن لوگ (دوبارہ) قبروں سے اٹھائے جائیں گےo

36. He (Iblis) said: ‘My Lord! Grant me respite till the Day they are resurrected.’

36. He said: ‘O Lord, then grant me respite (to remain alive) until the Day when people will be raised up (again) from the graves.’

36. Qala rabbi faanthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona

36. Iblīs (Satan) sa: «Min Herre, gi meg frist til den dag da de blir gjenoppvekket.»

36. उसने कहा: ऐ परवरदिगार! पस तू मुझे उस दिन तक (ज़िन्दा रहने की) मोहलत दे दे जिस दिन लोग (दोबारा) क़ब्रों से उठाए जाएंगे।

৩৬. সে বললো, ‘হে পরওয়ারদিগার! তবে তুমি আমাকে সেদিন পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দাও (যেদিন) মানুষকে (দ্বিতীয়বার) উত্তোলন করা হবে।’

37. اللہ نے فرمایا: (جا) بے شک تو مہلت یافتہ لوگوں میں سے ہےo

37. He (Allah) said: ‘You are indeed among those granted respite,

37. Allah said: ‘(Be off!) Indeed, you are amongst those granted respite,

37. Qala fainnaka mina almunthareena

37. Allah sa: «I sannhet, du er av dem som har fått frist,

37. अल्लाह ने फरमाया: (जा) बेशक तू मोहलत याफ्ता लोगों में से है।

৩৭. আল্লাহ্ বললেন, ‘সুতরাং নিশ্চয়ই তুমি অবকাশপ্রাপ্তদের মধ্যে গণ্য

38. وقتِ مقررہ کے دن (قیامت) تکo

38. till the Day of the known moment.’

38. Till the Day of the appointed time (Resurrection).’

38. Ila yawmi alwaqti almaAAloomi

38. til den fastsatte tidens dag (oppstandelsen)!»

38. वक़्ते मुक़र्ररा के दिन (क़ियामत) तक।

,৩৮. নির্ধারিত সময় (কিয়ামত) উপস্থিত হওয়ার দিবস পর্যন্ত।’

39. ابلیس نے کہا: اے پروردگار! اس سبب سے جو تو نے مجھے گمراہ کیا میں (بھی) یقیناً ان کے لئے زمین میں (گناہوں اور نافرمانیوں کو) خوب آراستہ و خوش نما بنا دوں گا اور ان سب کو ضرور گمراہ کر کے رہوں گاo

39. He (Iblis) said: ‘My Lord! As You have caused me to go astray, I will surely glamorise (evil) for them on the earth, and I will surely lead them all astray,

39. Iblis said: ‘O Lord, because You have led me astray, I will (also) best adorn and embellish for them (the sins, revolts and violations) in the earth and will certainly lead all of them astray by all means,

39. Qala rabbi bima aghwaytanee laozayyinanna lahum fee alardi walaoghwiyannahum ajmaAAeena

39. Iblīs (Satan) sa: «Min Herre! Fordi Du har latt meg bli villfaren, skal jeg visselig gjøre (synder og ulydighet) attraktivt og tiltrekkende for dem på jorden, og jeg vil visselig forville dem alle sammen,

39. इब्लीस ने कहा: ऐ परवरदिगार! इस सबब से जो तूने मुझे गुमराह किया मैं (भी) यक़ीनन उनके लिए ज़मीन में (गुनाहों और ना फरमानियों को) ख़ूब आरास्तओ ख़ुशनुमा बना दूंगा और उन सब को ज़रूर गुमराह करके रहूंगा।

৩৯. ইবলীস বললো, ‘হে পরওয়ারদিগার! এ কারণে, যার জন্যে তুমি আমার সর্বনাশ করলে, আমি(ও) অবশ্যই তাদের জন্যে পৃথিবীকে (গোনাহ্ এবং নাফরমানীকে) খুবই সুসজ্জিত ও শোভন করে তুলবো। আর অবশ্যই তাদের সকলের সর্বনাশ সাধন করবো

40. سوائے تیرے ان برگزیدہ بندوں کے جو (میرے اور نفس کے فریبوں سے) خلاصی پا چکے ہیںo

40. except for those among them who are Your exclusively chosen servants.’

40. Except for those exalted servants of Yours who have attained freedom (from my deceits and intrigues of the ill-commanding selves).’

40. Illa AAibadaka minhumu almukhlaseena

40. unntatt de høyerestående tjenerne Dine som har oppnådd frihet (fra mine svik og sviket i sitt eget jeg).»

40. सिवाए तेरे उन बर्गुज़ीदा बन्दों के जो (मेरे और नफ्स के फरेबों से) ख़ुलासी पा चुके हैं।

,৪০. তোমার মনোনীত বান্দাগণ ব্যতীত, যারা (আমার এবং কুপ্রবৃত্তির চক্রান্ত থেকে) মুক্তি পেয়ে গিয়েছে।’

41. اللہ نے ارشاد فرمایا: یہ (اخلاص ہی) راستہ ہے جو سیدھا میرے در پر آتا ہےo

41. He (Allah) said: ‘This is a path (leading) straight to Me.

41. Allah said: ‘This (freedom from these deceits and intrigues) is the (very) path that leads straight to My Threshold.

41. Qala hatha siratun AAalayya mustaqeemun

41. Allah sa: «Dette (denne frigjøringen fra disse svikene) er den stien som fører direkte til Meg!

41. अल्लाह ने इर्शाद फरमाया: ये (इख़्लास ही) रास्ता है जो सीधा मेरे दर पर आता है।

৪১. আল্লাহ্ ইরশাদ করেন, ‘এটি (একনিষ্ঠতারই) পথ, যা সোজা আমার নিকট আগমন করে।

42. بیشک میرے (اخلاص یافتہ) بندوں پر تیرا کوئی زور نہیں چلے گا سوائے ان بھٹکے ہوؤں کے جنہوں نے تیری راہ اختیار کیo

42. Surely you shall have no control over My servants—except those deviators who follow you.

42. Surely, you will in no way be able to influence My servants (who have attained this freedom from you) except the misguided lot who have adopted your way.

42. Inna AAibadee laysa laka AAalayhim sultanun illa mani ittabaAAaka mina alghaweena

42. Sannelig, Mine tjenere (som har oppnådd denne frigjøringen fra disse svikene) vil du ikke ha noen makt over, unntatt de villfarne som følger din vei.

42. बेशक मेरे (इख़्लास याफ्ता) बन्दों पर तेरा कोई ज़ोर नहीं चलेगा सिवाए उन भटके हुओं के जिन्होंने तेरी राह इख़्तियार की।

৪২. নিশ্চয়ই (শয়তান ও কুপ্রবৃত্তির চক্রান্ত থেকে মুক্তিপ্রাপ্ত) বান্দাদের উপর তোমার কোনো জবরদস্তি চলবে না, সেসব পথভ্রষ্ট ব্যতীত যারা তোমার পথ গ্রহণ করেছে।

43. اور بیشک ان سب کے لئے وعدہ کی جگہ جہنم ہےo

43. Indeed, Hell shall be the promised place for them all.

43. And verily, the promised place for all of them is Hell.

43. Wainna jahannama lamawAAiduhum ajmaAAeena

43. Og sannelig, helvete er deres lovede sted.

43. और बेशक उन सब के लिए वादे की जगह जहन्नम है।

৪৩. আর নিশ্চয়ই তাদের সবার প্রতিশ্রুত স্থান হলো জাহান্নাম।

44. جس کے سات دروازے ہیں، ہر دروازے کے لئے ان میں سے الگ حصہ مخصوص کیا گیا ہےo

44. It has seven gates; for each gate, there is a separate (allotted) portion of them.’

44. It has seven doors; for each one a fixed portion of them has been specified.’

44. Laha sabAAatu abwabin likulli babin minhum juzon maqsoomun

44. Det har syv porter; for enhver port er det blitt avsatt en gruppe av dem.»

44. जिसके सात दरवाजे़ हैं, हर दरवाजे़ के लिए उनमें से अलग हिस्सा मख़्सूस किया गया है।

৪৪. যার সাতটি দরোজা রয়েছে, প্রত্যেক দরোজার জন্যে তাদের পৃথক অংশ নির্দিষ্ট করে দেয়া হয়েছে।’

45. بیشک متقی لوگ باغوں اور چشموں میں رہیں گےo

45. Surely, the God-conscious will be in (the middle of) gardens and springs.

45. Indeed, the Godfearing will be amid Gardens and fountains.

45. Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin waAAuyoonin

45. Sannelig, de gudfryktige vil være i hager og kilder,

45. बेशक मुत्तक़ी लोग बाग़ों और चश्मों में रहेंगे।

৪৫. নিশ্চয়ই মুত্তাকী লোক থাকবে বাগিচা এবং ঝরনাধারায়।

46. (ان سے کہا جائے گا:) ان میں سلامتی کے ساتھ بے خوف ہو کر داخل ہو جاؤo

46. (They will be told:) ‘Enter them in peace, being secure.’

46. (It will be said to them:) ‘Enter them peacefully, casting aside all fears.’

46. Odkhulooha bisalamin amineena

46. (det vil bli sagt til dem): «Gå inn i dem med fred i all trygghet!»

46. (उनसे कहा जाएगा:) इनमें सलामती के साथ बेख़ौफ होकर दाख़िल हो जाओ।

৪৬. (তাদেরকে বলা হবে) ‘তাতে প্রবেশ করো শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে, নিরাপত্তার সাথে’।

47. اور ہم وہ ساری کدورت باہر کھینچ لیں گے جو (دنیا میں) ان کے سینوں میں (مغالطہ کے باعث ایک دوسرے سے) تھی، وہ (جنت میں) بھائی بھائی بن کر آمنے سامنے بیٹھے ہوں گےo

47. And We shall remove whatever bitterness lies within their breasts; (they shall be sitting) as brothers, upon couches, facing one another.

47. And We shall remove from their breasts all spite that they had (in the world against one another due to misunderstanding). They shall be brothers seated on couches face to face (in Paradise).

47. WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin ikhwanan AAala sururin mutaqabileena

47. Og Vi skal fjerne alt nag (som de hadde fordi de misforstod hverandre i jordelivet) fra brystet (hjertet), de vil sitte på troner som brødre overfor hverandre (i paradiset).

47. और हम वोह सारी कुदूरत बाहर खींच लेंगे जो (दुन्या में) उनके सीनों में (मुग़ाल्ते के बाइस एक दूसरे से) थी, वोह (जन्नत में) भाई भाई बनकर आमने सामने बैठे होंगे।

৪৭. আর আমরা তাদের অন্তর থেকে সকল বিদ্বেষ দূর করবো, যা (দুনিয়াতে একে অপরের সাথে ভুল বুঝাবুঝির কারণে) বিদ্যমান ছিল। তারা জান্নাতে ভ্রাতৃত্বের বন্ধনে মুখোমুখি উপবিষ্ট থাকবে।

48. انہیں وہاں کوئی تکلیف نہ پہنچے گی اور نہ ہی وہ وہاں سے نکالے جائیں گےo

48. No tiredness will touch them, nor will they (ever) be expelled from it.

48. No discomfort will touch them, nor will they be driven out from there.

48. La yamassuhum feeha nasabun wama hum minha bimukhrajeena

48. Ingen lidelse vil nå dem der, og ei heller vil de bli vist ut derfra.

48. उन्हें वहां कोई तक्लीफ न पहुंचेगी और न ही वोह वहां से निकाले जाएंगे।

৪৮. তাদেরকে সেখানে না কোনো কষ্ট স্পর্শ করবে, আর না তাদেরকে সেখান থেকে বের করে দেয়া হবে।

49. (اے حبیب!) آپ میرے بندوں کو بتا دیجئے کہ میں ہی بیشک بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہوںo

49. Inform My servants that I am indeed the Most-Forgiving, the All-Merciful,

49. (O Beloved!) Tell My servants: ‘Indeed, I am Most Forgiving, Ever-Merciful.’

49. Nabbi AAibadee annee ana alghafooru alrraheemu

49. (Kjære elskede ﷺ!) Underrett Mine tjenere om at Jeg i sannhet er den mest Tilgivende, den evig Nåderike!

49. (ऐ हबीब!) आप मेरे बन्दों को बता दीजिए कि मैं ही बेशक बड़ा बख़्शने वाला निहायत मेहरबान हूं।

৪৯. (হে হাবীব!) আপনি আমার বান্দাদেরকে বলে দিন, ‘আমি নিশ্চয়ই মহাক্ষমাশীল, অসীম দয়ালু’।

50. اور (اس بات سے بھی آگاہ کر دیجئے) کہ میرا ہی عذاب بڑا دردناک عذاب ہےo

50. and that My punishment is indeed the most painful torment.

50. And (also warn) that: ‘It is My torment which is the most grievous torment.’

50. Wa anna AAathabee huwa alAAathabu alaleemu

50. Og (meddel dem dette også): at pinen Min er den smertelige pinen.

50. और (इस बात से भी आगाह कर दीजिए) कि मेरा ही अ़ज़ाब बड़ा दर्दनाक अ़ज़ाब है।

৫০. আর (এ বিষয়েও সতর্ক করে দিন:) ‘আমার শাস্তি অতি মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি’।

51. اور انہیں ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے مہمانوں کی خبر (بھی) سنائیےo

51. And inform them about the guests of Ibrahim (Abraham),

51. And (also) relate to them the news about the guests of Ibrahim (Abraham).

51. Wanabbihum AAan dayfi ibraheema

51. Og underrett dem om Abrahams gjester også.

51. और उन्हें इब्राहीम (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) के मेह्‌मानों की ख़बर (भी) सुनाइए।

৫১. আর তাদেরকে ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এঁর মেহমানদের সংবাদ(ও) শুনিয়ে দিন।

52. جب وہ ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے پاس آئے تو انہوں نے (آپ کو) سلام کہا۔ ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) نے کہا کہ ہم آپ سے کچھ ڈر محسوس کر رہے ہیںo

52. when they entered upon him and greeted (him with): ‘Peace!’ He (Ibrahim) said: ‘We are indeed afraid of you.’

52. When they came to Ibrahim (Abraham), they greeted (him with): ‘Peace.’ Ibrahim (Abraham) said: ‘We are feeling somewhat afraid of you.’

52. Ith dakhaloo AAalayhi faqaloo salaman qala inna minkum wajiloona

52. Da de kom til Abraham, sa de: «Fred!» Abraham sa: «Vi føler noe redsel for dere!»

52. जब वोह इब्राहीम (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) के पास आए तो उन्होंने (आपको) सलाम कहा। इब्राहीम (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) ने कहा कि हम आपसे कुछ डर महसूस कर रहे हैं।

৫২. যখন তারা ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এঁর নিকট আসলো, তখন তাঁরা (তাঁকে) বললো, ‘সালাম’। ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিস সালাম) বললেন, ‘আমরা আপনাদের থেকে কিছুটা ভীতি অনুভব করছি’।

53. (مہمان فرشتوں نے) کہا: آپ خائف نہ ہوں ہم آپ کو ایک دانش مند لڑکے (کی پیدائش) کی خوشخبری سناتے ہیںo

53. They (the angels) said: ‘Do not be afraid. Indeed, we give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable son.’

53. (The guest angels) said: ‘Do not feel afraid. We give you the glad tidings of (the birth of) a son endowed with knowledge and wisdom.’

53. Qaloo la tawjal inna nubashshiruka bighulamin AAaleemin

53. (Gjestene, som var engler) sa: «Føl ikke redsel, vi bebuder deg et gledelig budskap om en vis gutt (en vis gutts fødsel).»

53. (मेहमान फरिश्तों ने) कहा: आप ख़ाइफ न हों हम आपको एक दानिशमन्द लड़के (की पैदाइश) की खु़शख़बरी सुनाते हैं।

৫৩. (মেহমান ফেরেশতাগণ) বললেন, ‘আপনি ভীত হবেন না, আমরা আপনাকে একজন জ্ঞানী পুত্রসন্তানের (জন্মের) সুসংবাদ প্রদান করছি’।

54. ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: تم مجھے اس حال میں خوشخبری سنا رہے ہو جبکہ مجھے بڑھاپا لاحق ہو چکا ہے سو اب تم کس چیز کی خوشخبری سناتے ہو؟o

54. He (Ibrahim) said: ‘Do you bring me glad tidings when old age has already overtaken me? So what glad tidings have you brought me?’

54. Ibrahim (Abraham) said: ‘You are giving me the glad tidings at a time when old age has already overtaken me. So what good news are you giving me now?’

54. Qala abashshartumoonee AAala an massaniya alkibaru fabima tubashshirooni

54. Abraham sa: «Bebuder dere meg det gledelige budskapet i en slik tilstand når alderdommen har nådd meg? Hvilket gledelig budskap bringer dere nå?»

54. इब्राहीम (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) ने कहा: तुम मुझे इस हाल में ख़ुशख़बरी सुना रहे हो जबकि मुझे बुढ़ापा लाहक़ हो चुका है सो अब तुम किस चीज़ की खु़शख़बरी सुनाते हो?

৫৪. ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিস সালাম) বললেন, ‘আপনারা আমাকে এমন সময়ে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন যখন আমাকে বার্ধক্য পেয়ে বসেছে, সুতরাং এখন আপনারা কোন্ বিষয়ের সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন?’

55. انہوں نے کہا: ہم آپ کو سچی بشارت دے رہے ہیں سو آپ نا امید نہ ہوںo

55. They said: ‘We have brought you glad tidings in truth, so do not be among the despairing.’

55. They said: ‘We give you the good news which is true. So do not lose hope.’

55. Qaloo bashsharnaka bialhaqqi fala takun mina alqaniteena

55. Englene sa: «Vi gir deg et sant gledelig budskap, bli ikke av dem som mister håpet!»

55. उन्होंने कहा: हम आपको सच्ची बिशारत दे रहे हैं सो आप ना उम्मीद न हों।

৫৫. তারা বললো, ‘আমরা আপনাকে সত্য সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছি, সুতরাং আপনি নিরাশ হবেন না’।

56. ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: اپنے رب کی رحمت سے گمراہوں کے سوا اور کون مایوس ہو سکتا ہےo

56. He (Ibrahim) said: ‘Who despairs of his Lord’s mercy, except those who are astray?’

56. Ibrahim (Abraham) said: ‘Who can lose hope of his Lord’s mercy except the strayed ones?’

56. Qala waman yaqnatu min rahmati rabbihi illa alddalloona

56. Abraham sa: «Hvem kan vel miste alt håp når det gjelder hans Herres nåde, unntatt de villfarne?»

56. इब्राहीम (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) ने कहा: अपने रब की रहमत से गुमराहों के सिवा और कौन मायूस हो सकता है।

৫৬. ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিস সালাম) বললেন, ‘স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের অনুগ্রহ থেকে গোমরাহ্ ব্যতীত আর কে নিরাশ হতে পারে?’

57. ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) نے دریافت کیا: اے (اللہ کے) بھیجے ہوئے فرشتو! (اس بشارت کے علاوہ) اور تمہارا کیا کام ہے (جس کے لئے آئے ہو)o

57. He (Ibrahim) said: ‘Then what is your (next) mission, O messengers?’

57. Ibrahim (Abraham) asked: ‘O deputed angels (sent by Allah), what other assignment do you have (to accomplish besides these glad tidings for which you have come)?’

57. Qala fama khatbukum ayyuha almursaloona

57. Abraham spurte: «Å, dere (Allahs) utsendte engler! Hvilket annet oppdrag har dere (kommet for utenom denne gledens nyhet)?»

57. इब्राहीम (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) ने दर्याफ्त किया: ऐ (अल्लाह के) भेजे हुऐ फरिश्तो! (इस बिशारत के अ़लावा) और तुम्हारा क्या काम है? (जिसके लिए आए हो) ।

৫৭. ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিস সালাম) প্রশ্ন করলেন, ‘হে (আল্লাহ্‌র) প্রেরিত ফেরেশতগণ! (এ সুসংবাদ ব্যতীত) আপনাদের আর কী কাজ (যার জন্যে আপনারা এসেছেন)?’

58. انہوں نے کہا: ہم ایک مجرم قوم کی طرف بھیجے گئے ہیںo

58. They said: ‘We have been sent to a guilty people.

58. They said: ‘We have been sent towards a sinful people,

58. Qaloo inna orsilna ila qawmin mujrimeena

58. Englene sa: «Vi er blitt utsendt til et syndig folk,

58. उन्होंने कहा: हम एक मुज्रिम क़ौम की तरफ भेजे गए हैं।

৫৮. তারা বললো, ‘আমরা এক অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি

59. سوائے لوط (علیہ السلام) کے گھرانے کے، بیشک ہم ان سب کو ضرور بچا لیں گےo

59. (They shall perish) except the family of Lut (Lot). We will indeed save them all,

59. Except the family of Lut (Lot) all of whom We will indeed save,

59. Illa ala lootin inna lamunajjoohum ajmaAAeena

59. unntatt Lots familie; sannelig, vi vil berge dem alle sammen,

59. सिवाए लूत (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) के घराने के, बेशक हम उन सब को ज़रूर बचा लेंगे।

,৫৯. লূত (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এঁর পরিবার ব্যতীত। নিশ্চয়ই আমরা তাদের সকলকে বাঁচিয়ে দেব

60. بجز ان کی بیوی کے، ہم (یہ) طے کر چکے ہیں کہ وہ ضرور (عذاب کے لئے) پیچھے رہ جانے والوں میں سے ہےo

60. except his wife; we have ordained, she will indeed be among those who remain behind (to perish).’

60. With the exception of his wife. We have decided that she shall certainly be amongst those who stay back (to become the victims of the torment).’

60. Illa imraatahu qaddarna innaha lamina alghabireena

60. bortsett fra hustruen hans. Vi har besluttet at hun i sannhet er av dem som skal være igjen (for pinen).»

60. बजुज़ उनकी बीवी के, हम (ये) तय कर चुके हैं कि वोह ज़रूर (अ़ज़ाब के लिए) पीछे रह जाने वालों में से है।

,৬০. তাঁর স্ত্রী ব্যতীত, আমরা (এ) সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি যে, সে নিশ্চিত (শাস্তির জন্যে) পশ্চাতে থেকে যাওয়াদের মধ্যে গণ্য হবে।’

61. پھر جب لوط (علیہ السلام) کے خاندان کے پاس وہ فرستادہ (فرشتے) آئےo

61. So when the messengers came to Lut’s family,

61. Then, when those deputed (angels) came to the house of Lut (Lot),

61. Falamma jaa ala lootin almursaloona

61. Da utsendingene (englene) kom til Lots familie,

61. फिर जब लूत (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) के ख़ानदान के पास वोह फिरस्तादा (फरिश्ते) आए।

৬১. অতঃপর যখন লূত (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এঁর ঘরে সে প্রেরিত (ফেরেশতারা) এলো

62. لوط (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: بیشک تم اجنبی لوگ (معلوم ہوتے) ہوo

62. he (Lut) said: ‘Indeed, you are an unfamiliar people.’

62. Lut (Lot) said: ‘Indeed, you are (looking) strangers.’

62. Qala innakum qawmun munkaroona

62. sa Lot: «Sannelig, dere er (virker som) fremmedfolk.»

62. लूत (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) ने कहा: बेशक तुम अजनबी लोग (मा’ लूम होते) हो।

,৬২. লূত (আলাইহিস সালাম) বললেন, ‘নিশ্চয়ই (মনে হচ্ছে) তোমরা অপরিচিত লোক’।

63. انہوں نے کہا: (ایسا نہیں) بلکہ ہم آپ کے پاس وہ (عذاب) لے کر آئے ہیں جس میں یہ لوگ شک کرتے رہے ہیںo

63. They said: ‘Rather, we have come to you with (the punishment) that they used to doubt.

63. They said: ‘(No indeed;) in fact we have come to you with the (punishment) about which these people have had doubts.

63. Qaloo bal jinaka bima kanoo feehi yamtaroona

63. Englene sa: «(Nei, sannelig!), faktisk er vi kommet til deg med den (pinen) som dette folk har tvilt på.

63. उन्होंने कहा: (ऐसा नहीं) बल्कि हम आपके पास वोह (अ़ज़ाब) लेकर आए हैं जिसमें ये लोग शक करते रहे हैं।

৬৩. তাঁরা বললেন, ‘(তা নয়) বরং আমরা আপনার নিকট এসেছি যে (শাস্তির) বিষয়ে এরা সন্দেহ করতো তা নিয়ে।

64. اور ہم آپ کے پاس حق (کا فیصلہ) لے کر آئے ہیں اور ہم یقیناً سچے ہیںo

64. And we have come to you with (the judgement of) truth, and surely, we are truthful.

64. And we have brought you (the judgment of) the truth and we are certainly truthful.

64. Waataynaka bialhaqqi wainna lasadiqoona

64. Og vi har kommet til deg med sannheten (sannhetens dom), og vi er i sannhet sannferdige.

64. और हम आप के पास हक़्क़ (का फैसला) लेकर आए हैं और हम यक़ीनन सच्चे हैं।

৬৪. আর আমরা আপনার নিকট সত্য (-এর ফায়সালা) নিয়ে আগমন করেছি এবং আমরা অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী।

65. پس آپ اپنے اہلِ خانہ کو رات کے کسی حصہ میں لے کر نکل جائیے اور آپ خود ان کے پیچھے پیچھے چلئے اور آپ میں سے کوئی مڑ کر (بھی) پیچھے نہ دیکھے اور آپ کو جہاں جانے کا حکم دیا گیا ہے (وہاں) چلے جائیےo

65. Set out with your family (and followers) during the darkness of the night, and you should follow behind them, and none of you should turn around. And keep proceeding as you are commanded.’

65. So set off with your family sometime during the night, and follow them in the rear, and none of you should (even) look back, and proceed to the place (where) you have been commanded.’

65. Faasri biahlika biqitAAin mina allayli waittabiAA adbarahum wala yaltafit minkum ahadun waimdoo haythu tumaroona

65. Kom deg av sted med familien din i en nattetime, og gå selv bak dem, og ingen av dere må engang snu seg for å se tilbake, og gå dit dere blir befalt om å dra.»

65. पस आप अपने अह्‌ले ख़ाना को रात के किसी हिस्से में लेकर निकल जाइए और आप ख़ुद उनके पीछे पीछे चलिए और आप में से कोई मुड़ कर (भी) पीछे न देखे और आपको जहां जाने का हुक्म दिया गया है (वहां) चले जाइए।

৬৫. অতঃপর আপনি আপনার পরিবারকে নিয়ে রাতের কোনো এক সময়ে বেরিয়ে পড়ুন এবং আপনি নিজে তাদের পিছু পিছু চলুন। আর আপনাদের মধ্যে কেউ যেন ঘুরে পিছনে না দেখে এবং আপনাকে যেখানে গমন করার নির্দেশ দেয়া হয়েছে (সেখানে) চলে যান।’

66. اور ہم نے لوط (علیہ السلام) کو اس فیصلہ سے بذریعہ وحی آگاہ کر دیا کہ بیشک اُن کے صبح کرتے ہی اُن لوگوں کی جڑ کٹ جائے گیo

66. We decreed this command to him, that these (people of Sodom and Gomorrah) shall be uprooted by the morning.

66. And We informed Lut (Lot) of this judgment through Revelation that the root of these people would be cut off the moment it dawns.

66. Waqadayna ilayhi thalika alamra anna dabira haolai maqtooAAun musbiheena

66. Og Vi underrettet Lot om denne avgjørelsen ved åpenbaring, at sannelig ville deres rot bli kuttet av i det øyeblikket morgenen grydde.

66. और हमने लूत (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) को उस फैसले से बज़रीए वही आगाह कर दिया कि बेशक उनके सुब्ह करते ही उन लोगों की जड़ कट जाएगी।

৬৬. আর আমরা লূত (আলাইহিস সালাম)-কে এ ফায়সালার মাধ্যমে অবগত করলাম যে, নিশ্চয়ই সকাল হতে না হতেই সেসব লোকদেরকে সমূলে বিনাশ করা হবে।

67. اور اہلِ شہر (اپنی بد مستی میں) خوشیاں مناتے ہوئے (لوط علیہ السلام کے پاس) آپہنچےo

67. And the people of the town came (to Lut’s house) rejoicing.

67. And the people of the city (possessed by their lust) approached (Lut [Lot]), rejoicing.

67. Wajaa ahlu almadeenati yastabshiroona

67. Og byens folk kom frydefulle (til Lot beruset i sin lyst).

67. और अह्‌ले शहर (अपनी बद मस्ती में) ख़ुशियां मनाते हुए (लूत अ़लैहिस्सलाम के पास) आ पहुंचे।

৬৭. আর শহরের অধিবাসীরা (নিজেদের মত্ততায়) আনন্দ উল্লাস করতে করতে (লূত আলাইহিস সালামের নিকট) এসে পৌঁছল।

68. لوط (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: بیشک یہ لوگ میرے مہمان ہیں پس تم مجھے (اِن کے بارے میں) شرم سار نہ کروo

68. He said: ‘Surely, these are my guests, so do not embarrass me (regarding them).

68. Lut (Lot) said: ‘Surely, they are my guests, so do not put me to shame (about them).

68. Qala inna haolai dayfee fala tafdahooni

68. Lot sa: «Sannelig, disse er mine gjester, bring ikke skam over meg (vedrørende dem),

68. लूत (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) ने कहा: बेशक ये लोग मेरे मेहमान हैं पस तुम मुझे (इनके बारे में) शर्मसार न करो।

৬৮. লূত (আলাইহিস সালাম) বললেন, ‘নিশ্চয়ই এরা আমার মেহমান। কাজেই তোমরা আমাকে (তাদের ব্যাপারে) লজ্জিত করো না।

69. اور اللہ (کے غضب) سے ڈرو اور مجھے رسوا نہ کروo

69. And fear (the wrath of) Allah and do not shame me.’

69. And fear (the wrath of) Allah and do not humiliate me.’

69. Waittaqoo Allaha wala tukhzooni

69. og frykt Allah (Allahs vrede), og vanær meg ikke!»

69. और अल्लाह (के ग़ज़ब) से डरो और मुझे रुस्वा न करो।

৬৯. আর আল্লাহ্কে (অর্থাৎ আল্লাহ্‌র ক্রোধকে) ভয় করো এবং আমাকে অপদস্ত করো না।’

70. وہ (بد مست لوگ) بولے: (اے لوط!) کیا ہم نے تمہیں دنیا بھر کے لوگوں (کی حمایت) سے منع نہیں کیا تھاo

70. They said: ‘(O Lut,) did we not forbid you from (protecting) all the people?’

70. Those (lost in wickedness) said: ‘(O Lut [Lot],) did we not forbid you (to provide protection to) all the people of the world?’

70. Qaloo awalam nanhaka AAani alAAalameena

70. De (berusede i lysten) sa: «(Å, Lot!) Har ikke vi forbudt deg (å gi beskyttelse til) all verdens folk?»

70. वोह (बदमस्त लोग) बोले: (ऐ लूत!) क्या हमने तुम्हें दुन्या भर के लोगों (की हिमायत) से मना नहीं किया था।

৭০. সেসব (পাপাচারে মত্ত) লোকজন বলে উঠলো, ‘(হে লূত!) আমরা কি তোমাকে সারা জগতের লোকদের (নিরাপত্তা দেয়া) থেকে নিষেধ করিনি?’

71. لوط (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: یہ میری (قوم کی) بیٹیاں ہیں اگر تم کچھ کرنا چاہتے ہو (تو بجائے بدکرداری کے ان سے نکاح کر لو)o

71. He (Lut) said: ‘Here are my (people’s) daughters. If you desire to do something (then marry them, instead of committing indecency).’

71. Lut (Lot) said: ‘There are my (people’s) daughters. If you desire to do something (then marry them instead of perpetrating indecency).’

71. Qala haolai banatee in kuntum faAAileena

71. Lot sa: «Dette er mine døtre (mitt folks døtre); hvis dere ønsker å gjøre noe, (så gift dere heller med dem enn å bedrive hor)!»

71. लूत (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) ने कहा: ये मेरी क़ौम की बेटियां हैं अगर तुम कुछ करना चाहते हो (तो बजाए बद किर्दारी के इनसे निकाह कर लो) ।

৭১. লূত (আলাইহিস সালাম) বললেন, ‘এরা আমার (সম্প্রদায়ের) কন্যা; যদি তোমরা কিছু করতে চাও (তবে ব্যভিচার ব্যতীত তাদেরকে বিবাহ করে নাও)।’

72. (اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) آپ کی عمرِ مبارک کی قَسم، بیشک یہ لوگ (بھی قومِ لوط کی طرح) اپنی بدمستی میں سرگرداں پھر رہے ہیںo

72. (O Prophet!) By your life, they wandered blindly in their (lustful) drunkenness.

72. (O Glorious Beloved!) By your (sacred) life, surely these people (too) are wandering astray, possessed by their lust (like the people of Lut [Lot]).

72. LaAAamruka innahum lafee sakratihim yaAAmahoona

72. (Kjære ærerike elskede ﷺ!) Ved din velsignede alder, sannelig, disse raver berusede i lysten rundt omkring i blinde (akkurat som Lots folk).

72. (ऐ हबीबे मुकर्रम!) आपकी उम्रे मुबारक की क़सम, बेशक ये लोग (भी क़ौमे लूत की तरह) अपनी मस्ती में सरगर्दां फिर रहे हैं।

৭২. (হে সম্মানিত হাবীব!) আপনার পবিত্র জীবনের কসম, নিশ্চয় এ লোকেরাও (লূতের সম্প্রদায়ের ন্যায়) নিজেদের পাপাচারে মত্ত থেকে পেরেশান হয়ে ঘুরছে।

73. پس انہیں طلوعِ آفتاب کے ساتھ ہی سخت آتشیں کڑک نے آلیاo

73. So the blast overtook them at sunrise.

73. So, the blazing blast seized them at sunrise.

73. Faakhathathumu alssayhatu mushriqeena

73. Ved soloppgang tok et forferdelig brak dem.

73. पस उन्हें तुलूए आफ्ताब के साथ ही सख़्त आतशीं कड़क ने आ लिया।

৭৩. অতঃপর তাদেরকে সূর্যোদয়ের সময়েই কঠিন প্রজ্বলিত বজ্র এসে পাকড়াও করলো।

74. سو ہم نے ان کی بستی کو زِیر و زَبر کر دیا اور ہم نے ان پر پتھر کی طرح سخت مٹی کے کنکر برسائےo

74. Thus, We turned their town upside down and rained stones of baked clay upon them.

74. And We turned their town upside down and rained upon them stones of baked clay.

74. FajaAAalna AAaliyaha safilaha waamtarna AAalayhim hijaratan min sijjeelin

74. Vi snudde opp ned på byen deres, og Vi lot det regne teglstein over dem.

74. सो हमने उनकी बस्ती को जे़रो ज़बर कर दिया और हमने उन पर पत्थर की तरह सख़्त मिट्टी के कंकर बरसाए।

৭৪. সুতরাং আমরা তাদের জনপদকে উল্টে দিলাম এবং তাদের উপর পাথরের ন্যায় শক্ত মাটির কঙ্কর বর্ষণ করলাম।

75. بیشک اس (واقعہ) میں اہلِ فراست کے لئے نشانیاں ہیںo

75. There are indeed signs in that (destruction) for those who can anticipate.

75. Verily, in this (occurrence) there are signs for those who possess the ability to probe into reality.

75. Inna fee thalika laayatin lilmutawassimeena

75. Sannelig, i dette (denne hendelsen) er det tegn for dem som øyner sannhetens dybde.

75. बेशक इस (वाक़िए) में अह्‌ले फिरासत के लिए निशानियां हैं।

৭৫. নিশ্চয়ই এতে (এ ঘটনায়) অন্তর্দৃষ্টি সম্পন্নদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন ।

76. اور بیشک وہ بستی ایک آباد راستہ پر واقع ہےo

76. Indeed (the ruins of) these (destroyed towns) are still there on the highway.

76. And truly that town lies along a frequented highway.

76. Wainnaha labisabeelin muqeemin

76. Og sannelig, den byen ligger ved en beferdet vei.

76. और बेशक वोह बस्ती एक आबाद रास्ते पर वाक़ेअ़ है।

৭৬. আর নিশ্চয়ই সে জনপদটি ছিল একটি জনবহুল রাস্তার পাশে অবস্থিত।

77. بیشک اس (واقعۂ قومِ لوط) میں اہلِ ایمان کے لئے نشانی (عبرت) ہےo

77. Most surely, in this (account), there is a sign for the believers.

77. Surely, in this (episode of the people of Lut [Lot]), there is a sign of (warning) for the believers.

77. Inna fee thalika laayatan lilmumineena

77. Sannelig, i dette (denne hendelsen til Lots folk) er det et (advarende) tegn for de troende.

77. बेशक इस (वाक़िअ़ए क़ौमे लूत) में अह्‌ले ईमान के लिए निशानी (इब्ररत) है।

৭৭. নিশ্চয়ই এতে (লূত আলাইহিস সালামের সম্প্রদায়ের এ ঘটনায়) ঈমানদারদের জন্যে রয়েছে (উপদেশমূলক) নিদর্শন।

78. اور بیشک باشندگانِ اَیکہ (یعنی گھنی جھاڑیوں کے رہنے والے) بھی بڑے ظالم تھےo

78. Indeed, the inhabitants of al-Ayka (the Woodland) were wrongdoers.

78. And, in reality, the dwellers of al-Ayka (the Thick Wood) too were hardened wrongdoers.

78. Wain kana ashabu alaykati lathalimeena

78. Og sannelig, Eykahs folk (beboere i området med fyldige og tette trær) var svært ondsinnede.

78. और बेशक बाशिन्दगाने ऐका (यानी घनी झाड़ियों के रहने वाले) भी बड़े ज़ालिम थे।

৭৮. আর নিশ্চয়ই আইকার অধিবাসী (অর্থাৎ ঘন বনে বসবাসকারীরা) ছিল খুবই অত্যাচারী।

79. پس ہم نے ان سے (بھی) انتقام لیا، اور یہ دونوں (بستیاں) کھلے راستہ پر (موجود) ہیںo

79. So We took vengeance upon them, and indeed (the ruins of) both (towns of Sodom and al-Ayka) are (visible) on an open highway.

79. So We avenged Ourselves on them (as well), and (archeological remains of) both these (towns still exist) on the highway.

79. Faintaqamna minhum wainnahuma labiimamin mubeenin

79. Vi tok hevn over dem, og begge disse (byene) ligger på en synlig vei (som eksisterer i dag også).

79. पस हमने उनसे (भी) इन्तिक़ाम लिया, और ये दोनों (बस्तियां) खुले रास्ते पर (मौजूद) हैं।

৭৯. অতঃপর আমরা তাদের উপর(ও) প্রতিশোধ নিয়েছিলাম। আর এ (জনপদ) দু’টি ছিল প্রধান পথের উপর (অবস্থিত)।

80. اور بیشک وادئ حجر کے باشندوں نے بھی رسولوں کو جھٹلایاo

80. Indeed, the inhabitants of al-Hijr (the Rocky Plain, also) denied the messengers.

80. And no doubt, the people of the valley of al-Hijr (the Rock) too denied the Messengers.

80. Walaqad kaththaba ashabu alhijri almursaleena

80. Og sannelig, også steinområdets dals folk forsverget sendebudene.

80. और बेशक वादिए हिज्र के बाशिन्दों ने भी रसूलों को झुटलाया।

৮০. আর নিশ্চয়ই হিজর উপত্যকার বাসিন্দারাও রাসূলগণকে মিথ্যাপ্রতিপন্ন করেছিল।

81. اور ہم نے انہیں (بھی) اپنی نشانیاں دیں مگر وہ ان سے رُوگردانی کرتے رہےo

81. And We had given them Our signs, but they turned away from them.

81. And We (also) bestowed upon them Our signs, but they persisted in turning away from them.

81. Waataynahum ayatina fakanoo AAanha muAArideena

81. Og Vi ga dem Våre tegn, men de vendte seg stadig bort fra dem.

81. और हमने उन्हें (भी) अपनी निशानियां दीं मगर वोह उनसे रूगर्दानी करते रहे।

৮১. আর আমরা তাদেরকে(ও) আমার নিদর্শনাবলী দিয়েছিলাম, কিন্তু তারা তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছিল।

82. اور وہ لوگ بے خوف و خطر پہاڑوں میں گھر تراشتے تھےo

82. They used to carve out homes in the mountains, feeling secure.

82. And they used to carve out houses in the mountains without any threat and fear.

82. Wakanoo yanhitoona mina aljibali buyootan amineena

82. Og de pleide å hogge ut boliger i fjellene uten å føle seg truet.

82. और वोह लोग बे ख़ौफो ख़तर पहाड़ों में घर तराश्ते थे।

৮২. আর ওই সকল লোক নিশ্চিন্তে পর্বত খোদাই করে গৃহ নির্মাণ করতো।

83. تو انہیں (بھی) صبح کرتے ہی خوفناک کڑک نے آپکڑاo

83. So the blast overtook them in the morning.

83. And the dreadful blast seized them (as well) the moment it dawned.

83. Faakhathathumu alssayhatu musbiheena

83. I det øyeblikket dagen grydde, ble de tatt av et forferdelig brak.

83. तो उन्हें (भी) सुब्ह करते ही ख़ौफनाक कड़क ने आ पकड़ा।

৮৩. আর তাদেরকে(ও) ভোর হতেই ভয়ানক গর্জন পেয়ে বসলো।

84. سو جو (مال) وہ کمایا کرتے تھے وہ ان سے (اللہ کے عذاب) کو دفع نہ کر سکاo

84. And what they used to earn could not benefit them.

84. So (the riches) they used to earn could not repel (Allah’s punishment) from them.

84. Fama aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yaksiboona

84. Det (den rikdommen) de pleide å fortjene, kunne ikke ta bort noe (Allahs pine) fra dem.

84. सो जो (माल) वोह कमाया करते थे वोह उनसे (अल्लाह के अ़ज़ाब) को दफा न कर सका।

৮৪. সুতরাং যেসব (সম্পদ) তারা অর্জন করেছিল সেসব তাদের থেকে (আল্লাহ্‌র শাস্তি) প্রতিহত করতে পারলো না।

85. اور ہم نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور جو کچھ ان دونوں کے درمیان ہے عبث پیدا نہیں کیا، اور یقیناً قیامت کی گھڑی آنے والی ہے، سو (اے اخلاقِ مجسّم!) آپ بڑے حسن و خوبی کے ساتھ درگزر کرتے رہئےo

85. And We did not create the heavens, the earth and whatever is between them but with a true purpose. And the Hour is surely coming. So forbear with a graceful forbearance.

85. And We have not created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them without any purpose. And the Hour of Resurrection is certainly approaching. So, (O embodiment of excellent morality,) bear with (them) most graciously and effectively with perseverance.

85. Wama khalaqna alssamawati waalarda wama baynahuma illa bialhaqqi wainna alssaAAata laatiyatun faisfahi alssafha aljameela

85. Og Vi har ikke skapt himlene og jorden og alt det som mellom dem begge er, uten hensikt. Og sannelig, timen vil komme! (Kjære elskede ﷺ med den mest fortreffelige moralen!) Vis evig overbærenhet med den vakreste væremåten.

85. और हमने आस्मानों और ज़मीन को और जो कुछ उन दोनों के दर्मियान है अ़बस पैदा नहीं किया, और यक़ीनन क़ियामत की घड़ी आने वाली है सो (ऐ अख़्लाक़े मुजस्सम!) आप बड़े हुस्नो ख़ूबी के साथ दरगुज़र करते रहिए।

৮৫. আর আমরা আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবী এবং এ দু’য়ের মাঝে যা কিছু রয়েছে তা অনর্থক সৃষ্টি করিনি। আর অবশ্যই কিয়ামতের মুহূর্ত আসন্ন। সুতরাং (হে উৎকৃষ্টতম চরিত্রের প্রতীক!) আপনি পরম অনুগ্রহ ও সৌন্দর্যের সাথে ক্ষমা করতে থাকুন।

86. بیشک آپ کا رب ہی سب کو پیدا فرمانے والا خوب جاننے والا ہےo

86. Indeed, your Lord is the All-Creator, the All-Knowing.

86. Indeed, your Lord alone is the Creator of all things, All-Knowing.

86. Inna rabbaka huwa alkhallaqu alAAaleemu

86. Sannelig, Herren din er Skaperen av alt, den Allvitende.

86. बेशक आपका रब ही सबको पैदा फरमाने वाला ख़ूब जानने वाला है।

৮৬. নিশ্চয়ই আপনার প্রতিপালকই সবকিছুর সৃষ্টিকর্তা, সম্যক অবগত।

87. اور بیشک ہم نے آپ کو بار بار دہرائی جانے والی سات آیتیں (یعنی سورۂ فاتحہ) اور بڑی عظمت والا قرآن عطا فرمایا ہےo

87. And indeed, We have given you the seven oft-repeated verses (i.e. Sura al-Fatiha) and the Glorious Qur’an.

87. And surely We have bestowed upon you the seven oft-recited Verses (i.e., Chapter al-Fatiha) and the Glorious Qur’an.

87. Walaqad ataynaka sabAAan mina almathanee waalqurana alAAatheema

87. Og uten tvil, Vi har tildelt deg syv vers som blir gjentatt gang på gang (Koranens første kapittel [Åpningen]), og den praktfulle Koranen.

87. और बेशक हमने आपको बार बार दोहराई जाने वाली सात आयतें (यानी सूरए फातिहा) और बड़ी अ़ज़मत वाला क़ुरआन अ़ता फरमाया है।

৮৭. আর অবশ্যই আমরা আপনাকে প্রদান করেছি বারংবার আবৃত্ত সপ্ত আয়াত (অর্থাৎ সূরা ফাতিহা) এবং বড় মহিমার অধিকারী কুরআন।

88. آپ ان چیزوں کی طرف نگاہ اٹھا کر بھی نہ دیکھئے جن سے ہم نے کافروں کے گروہوں کو (چند روزہ) عیش کے لئے بہرہ مند کیا ہے، اور ان (کی گمراہی) پر رنجیدہ خاطر بھی نہ ہوں اور اہلِ ایمان (کی دل جوئی) کے لئے اپنے (شفقت و التفات کے) بازو جھکائے رکھئےo

88. Do not extend your glance towards (the worldly pleasures) that We have provided to some (disbelieving) groups of them, nor grieve for them. And lower your wing (of grace and affection) to the believers (to make them feel content).

88. Do not even lift your eyes towards the things with which We have benefitted the disbelievers for their (few days’) luxury, nor grieve over their (turning away from the straight path), and keep your wings (of affection and care) lowered over the believers (to make them feel contented and cared for).

88. La tamuddanna AAaynayka ila ma mattaAAna bihi azwajan minhum wala tahzan AAalayhim waikhfid janahaka lilmumineena

88. Løft ikke engang blikket ditt for å se på det Vi har gitt til de vantros flokker for (noen dagers) luksuriøs tilværelse, og bli ikke trist over dem (deres villfarelse), og senk dine (kjærlighets- og omsorgs-) vinger over de troende (for å glede deres hjerte).

88. आप उन चीज़ों की तरफ निगाह उठा कर भी न देखिए जिनसे हमने काफिरों के गिरोहों को (चन्द रोज़ा) ऐश के लिए बेहरामंद किया है, और उन (की गुमराही) पर रंजीदा ख़ातिर भी न हों और अह्‌ले ईमान (की दिलजूई) के लिए अपने (शफ्क़तो इल्तिफात के) बाज़ू झुकाए रखिए।

৮৮. আপনি সেসব বস্তুর দিকে দৃষ্টিও দেবেন না, যা আমরা কাফের সম্প্রদায়কে (কিছুদিন) উপভোগের জন্যে দিয়েছি এবং তাদের (গোমরাহীর) উপর চিন্তান্বিতও হবেন না। আর ঈমানদারদের (অন্তর জয় করার) জন্যে আপনার (মমতা ও দৃষ্টির) বাহু ঝুঁকিয়ে রাখুন।

89. اور فرما دیجئے کہ بیشک (اب) میں ہی (عذابِ الٰہی کا) واضح و صریح ڈر سنانے والا ہوںo

89. And (O Prophet!) say: ‘Indeed, I am the manifest warner,

89. And say: ‘Indeed, I am (now) the open and clear Warner (of Allah’s torment).’

89. Waqul innee ana alnnatheeru almubeenu

89. Og si: «Sannelig er det (fra nå til tidens ende) jeg som er den soleklare advareren (mot Allahs pine)!»

89. और फरमा दीजिए कि बेशक (अब) मैं ही (अ़ज़ाबे इलाही का) वाज़ेहो सरीह डर सुनाने वाला हूं।

৮৯. আর বলে দিন, ‘নিশ্চয়ই (এখন) আমিই (আল্লাহ্‌র শাস্তির) সুস্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী’।

90. جیسا (عذاب) کہ ہم نے تقسیم کرنے والوں (یعنی یہود و نصارٰی) پر اتارا تھاo

90. (carrying a warning) similar to what We sent to those who made divisions (in the Scriptures and the community),

90. (The torment) that We sent down upon the dividers (i.e., the Jews and the Christians),

90. Kama anzalna AAala almuqtasimeena

90. Slik (pine) som Vi nedsendte over dem som oppdelte (jødene og kristne),

90. जैसा (अ़ज़ाब) कि हमने तक़्सीम करने वालों (यानी यहूदो नसारा) पर उतारा था।

৯০. যেভাবে আমরা বিভক্তকারীদের (অর্থাৎ ইহুদী ও নাসারাদের) উপর (শাস্তি) অবতীর্ণ করেছিলাম

91. جنہوں نے قرآن کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے (کر کے تقسیم) کر ڈالا (یعنی موافق آیتوں کو مان لیا اور غیر موافق کو نہ مانا)o

91. who (now) reduce the Qur’an into fragments (by accepting some verses and rejecting others).’

91. Those who divided the Qur’an into pieces (and split it, i.e., accepted the favourable Verses but rejected the others).

91. Allatheena jaAAaloo alqurana AAideena

91. de som oppdelte Koranen i biter (de tok til seg de versene som passet dem, og forkastet dem som ikke passet dem).

91. जिन्होंने क़ुरआन को टुकड़े टुकड़े (करके तक़्सीम) कर डाला (यानी मुवाफिक़ आयतों को मान लिया और ग़ैर मुवाफिक़ को न माना) ।

,৯১. যারা কুরআনকে টুকরো টুকরো (করে বিভক্ত) করে ফেলেছে (অর্থাৎ অনুকূল আয়াতগুলোকে মেনে নিয়েছে আর প্রতিকূল আয়াতগুলোকে অমান্য করেছে)।

92. سو آپ کے رب کی قسم! ہم ان سب سے ضرور پرسش کریں گےo

92. So, by your Lord, We shall indeed question them all,

92. So, by your Lord, We shall indeed interrogate them all,

92. Fawarabbika lanasalannahum ajmaAAeena

92. Ved Herren din! Vi vil visselig forhøre dem alle sammen

92. सो आपके रब की क़सम! हम उन सबसे ज़रूर पुरसिश करेंगे।

৯২. সুতরাং আপনার প্রতিপালকের কসম! আমরা তাদের সকলকে অবশ্যই জিজ্ঞেস করবো

93. ان اعمال سے متعلق جو وہ کرتے رہے تھےo

93. concerning what they used to do.

93. Pertaining to the works that they used to do.

93. AAamma kanoo yaAAmaloona

93. om de handlingene de utførte.

93.उन आमाल से मु-त-अ़ल्लिक़ जो वोह करते रहे थे।

,৯৩. সেসব আমল সম্পর্কে যা তারা করতো।

94. پس آپ وہ (باتیں) اعلانیہ کہہ ڈالیں جن کا آپ کو حکم دیا گیا ہے اور آپ مشرکوں سے منہ پھیر لیجئےo

94. So proclaim what you have been commanded (to convey) and ignore the polytheists.

94. So declare openly all those (matters) that you have been commanded, and turn away from those who set up partners with Allah.

94. FaisdaAA bima tumaru waaAArid AAani almushrikeena

94. Kunngjør alt det du er blitt befalt, og vend deg bort fra flergudsdyrkerne.

94. पस आप वोह (बातें) ऐलानिया कह डालें जिनका आपको हुक्म दिया गया है और आप मुश्रिकों से मुंह फे र लीजिए।

৯৪. অতঃপর আপনি সেসব (বিষয়) প্রকাশ্যভাবে প্রচার করুন যে সবের নির্দেশ আপনাকে দেয়া হয়েছে আর মুশরিকদেরকে উপেক্ষা করুন।

95. بیشک مذاق کرنے والوں (کو انجام تک پہنچانے) کے لئے ہم آپ کو کافی ہیںo

95. Indeed, We suffice you against those who ridicule (your message).

95. Surely, We suffice you for (taking them to task) who scoff,

95. Inna kafaynaka almustahzieena

95. Sannelig, Vi er mer enn nok for deg mot dem som latterliggjør (for å la dem møte sin skjebne),

95. बेशक मज़ाक़ करने वालों (को अंजाम तक पहुंचाने) के लिए हम आपको काफी हैं।

৯৫. নিশ্চয়ই আমরা আপনার প্রতি বিদ্রুপকারীদের (পরিণতির) জন্যে যথেষ্ট

96. جو اللہ کے ساتھ دوسرا معبود بناتے ہیں سو وہ عنقریب (اپنا انجام) جان لیں گےo

96. Those who set up another god besides Allah—they will soon come to know.

96. Who set up other gods along with Allah. So they will come to know (their end) soon.

96. Allatheena yajAAaloona maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara fasawfa yaAAlamoona

96. som setter en annen som tilbedelsesverdig sammen med Allah, de vil snart få vite (hva deres ende vil bli)!

96. जो अल्लाह के साथ दूसरा माबूद बनाते हैं सो वोह अ़नक़रीब (अपना अंजाम) जान लेंगे।

,৯৬. যারা আল্লাহ্‌র সাথে অন্য উপাস্য সাব্যস্ত করেছে! সুতরাং তারা শীঘ্রই (নিজেদের পরিণতি) জেনে যাবে।

97. اور بیشک ہم جانتے ہیں کہ آپ کا سینۂ (اقدس) ان باتوں سے تنگ ہوتا ہے جو وہ کہتے ہیںo

97. We certainly know that your heart is distressed by what they say.

97. And We indeed know that your (sacred) breast feels straitened by what they say.

97. Walaqad naAAlamu annaka yadeequ sadruka bima yaqooloona

97. Og sannelig, Vi vet at (det hellige) brystet ditt føler seg trykket av det de sier.

97.और बेशक हम जानते हैं कि आपका सीनए (अक़्दस) उन बातों से तंग होता है जो वोह कहते हैं।

৯৭. আর নিশ্চয়ই আমরা জানি, যা তারা বলে তাতে আপনার (পবিত্রতম) বক্ষ সংকুচিত হয় ।

98. سو آپ حمد کے ساتھ اپنے رب کی تسبیح کیا کریں اور سجود کرنے والوں میں (شامل) رہا کریںo

98. So glorify your Lord with praise and be among those who prostrate,

98. So glorify your Lord with His praise and live amongst those who prostrate themselves before Him.

98. Fasabbih bihamdi rabbika wakun mina alssajideena

98. Men forherlige din Herres hellighet med lovprisning, og vær alltid av dem som kneler med ansiktet ned (for Herren)!

98. सो आप हम्द के साथ अपने रब की तस्बीह किया करें और सुजूद करने वालों में (शामिल) रहा करें।

৯৮. সুতরাং আপনি আপনার প্রতিপালকের সপ্রশংস তাসবীহ্ পাঠ করুন এবং সেজদাকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হোন।

99. اور اپنے رب کی عبادت کرتے رہیں یہاں تک کہ آپ کو (آپ کی شان کے لائق) مقامِ یقین مل جائے (یعنی انشراحِ کامل نصیب ہو جائے یا لمحۂ وصالِ حق)o

99. and (continue to) worship your Lord until what is certain comes to you.

99. And worship your Lord till you attain to the station of certainty of faith (which goes with your glory, i.e., perfect cognizance of divinity or the moment of far-nearness to your Lord).

99. WaoAAbud rabbaka hatta yatiyaka alyaqeenu

99. Og tilbe Herren din til du når den fulle forvissningen (som egner seg for din verdighet, at du oppnår sannhetens fullkomne erkjennelse eller blir forenet med sannheten).

99. और अपने रब की इबादत करते रहें यहां तक कि आपको (आपकी शान के लाइक़) मक़ामे यक़ीन मिल जाए (यानी इन्शिराहे कामिल नसीब हो जाए या लम्हए विसाले हक़्क़) ।

৯৯. আর আপনার প্রতিপালকের ইবাদত করতে থাকুন, যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত আপনি (আপনার মর্যাদা অনুসারে) বিশ্বাসের অবস্থান অর্জন করেন (অর্থাৎ পরিপূর্ণ প্রশস্ততা অর্জিত হওয়া অথবা হক্ব তা’আলার সাথে মিলিত হওয়া পর্যন্ত)।

1. اللہ کا وعدہ (قریب) آپہنچا سو تم اس کے چاہنے میں عجلت نہ کرو۔ وہ پاک ہے اور وہ ان چیزوں سے برتر ہے جنہیں کفار (اس کا) شریک ٹھہراتے ہیںo

1. Allah’s judgement is coming! So do not seek to hasten it. Glory be to Him. He is exalted above any partners they ascribe (to Him).

1. The promise of Allah has drawn (near), so do not hasten in seeking it. Holy is He and Exalted far above those objects, which the disbelievers set up as (His) peers.

1. Ata amru Allahi fala tastaAAjiloohu subhanahu wataAAala AAamma yushrikoona

1. Allahs løfte er kommet (nær), så ikke skynd dere med å ønske det! Hellig er Han og langt mer høytstående enn det de vantro likestiller (med Ham).

1. अल्लाह का वादा (क़रीब) आ पहुंचा सो तुम उसके चाहने में उज्लत न करो। वोह पाक है और वोह उन चीज़ों से बरतर है जिन्हें कुफ्फार (उसका) शरीक ठहराते हैं।

১. আল্লাহ্‌র অঙ্গীকার নিকটবর্তী, সুতরাং তোমরা তা কামনায় তাড়াহুড়ো করো না। তিনি পূতঃপবিত্র, আর তিনি পবিত্র ও সমুন্নত তা থেকে কাফেরেরা (তাঁর) যে অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে।

2. وہی فرشتوں کو وحی کے ساتھ (جو جملہ تعلیماتِ دین کی روح اور جان ہے) اپنے حکم سے اپنے بندوں میں سے جس پر چاہتا ہے نازل فرماتا ہے کہ (لوگوں کو) ڈر سناؤ کہ میرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں سو میری پرہیزگاری اختیار کروo

2. He sends down the angels with the Spirit of His Command (i.e. revelation and Prophethood) on whom He pleases among His servants (saying): ‘Warn (the people) that there is no god except Me. So be conscious of Me.’

2. He alone sends down the angels by His command with Revelation (which is the spirit of all the teachings of Din [Religion]) to those of His servants He likes: ‘Warn (the people) that there is no God except Me, so fear Me against all evils.’

2. Yunazzilu almalaikata bialrroohi min amrihi AAala man yashao min AAibadihi an anthiroo annahu la ilaha illa ana faittaqooni

2. Han nedsender englene med Sin befalings åpenbaring (som er kjernen i levemåtens lære) til den Han vil av Sine tjenere: «Advar (folk) om at det ikke finnes noen tilbedelsesverdig herre utenom Meg, så omfavn Min ærefrykt!»

2. वोही फरिश्तों को वही के साथ (जो जुम्ला तालीमाते दीन की रूह और जान है) अपने हुक्म से अपने बन्दों में से जिस पर चाहता है नाज़िल फरमाता है कि (लोगों को) डर सुनाओ कि मेरे सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं सो मेरी परहेज़गारी इख़्तियार करो।

২. তিনিই ফেশেতাদেরকে (দ্বীনি শিক্ষার রূহ এবং প্রাণ) ওহী সহকারে নিজের নির্দেশে অবতীর্ণ করেন স্বীয় বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে যাকে চান তার প্রতি, ‘(মানুষকে) সতর্ক করো যে, আমি ব্যতীত কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই, সুতরাং আমার ভীতি ধারণ করো’।

3. اُسی نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو درست تدبیر کے ساتھ پیدا فرمایا، وہ ان چیزوں سے برتر ہے جنہیں کفار (اس کا) شریک گردانتے ہیںo

3. He created the heavens and the earth with a true purpose. He is above any partners they ascribe (to Him).

3. He alone has created the heavens and the earth with a decreed celestial order. He is Exalted far above those objects which the disbelievers set up as (His) peers.

3. Khalaqa alssamawati waalarda bialhaqqi taAAala AAamma yushrikoona

3. Han skapte himlene og jorden med en feilfri plan, Han er langt mer høytstående enn det de vantro likestiller (med Ham).

3. उसी ने आस्मानों और ज़मीन को दुरुस्त तद्‌बीर के साथ पैदा फरमाया, वोह उन चीज़ों से बरतर है जिन्हें कुफ्फार (उसका) शरीक गरदानते हैं।

৩. তিনিই আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবী যথাযথ প্রক্রিয়ার মাধ্যমে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। তিনি এমন কিছু থেকে সমুন্নত, যা কিছু কাফেরেরা (তাঁর সাথে) অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে।

4. اُسی نے انسان کو ایک تولیدی قطرہ سے پیدا فرمایا، پھر بھی وہ (اللہ کے حضور مطیع ہونے کی بجائے) کھلا جھگڑالو بن گیاo

4. He created human being from a fertilised egg (i.e. a zygote*), yet he is an open opponent.

* In Arabic, the word ‘al-nutfa’ is mentioned, and it refers to a zygote, which is a mixture of male and female gametes. It is the new single cell formed after the union of a sperm and ovum.

4. He alone has created man from a drop of vital fluid, yet he has become openly contentious (instead of becoming totally submissive to Allah).

4. Khalaqa alinsana min nutfatin faitha huwa khaseemun mubeenun

4. Han har skapt mennesket av en sammensmeltet dråpe, til tross for at det soleklart ble trettekjært (heller enn å være Allah underdanig).

4. उसी ने इंसान को एक तौलीदी क़तरे से पैदा फरमाया, फिर भी वोह (अल्लाह के हुज़ूर मुतीअ़ होने की बजाए) खुला झगड़ालू बन गया।

৪. তিনি মানুষকে জন্মদায়ক শুক্রানু থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এরপরও তারা (আল্লাহ্‌র সমীপে আনুগত্যশীল হওয়ার পরিবর্তে) প্রকাশ্য বিবাদকারী হয়ে গিয়েছে।

5. اور اُسی نے تمہارے لئے چوپائے پیدا فرمائے، ان میں تمہارے لئے گرم لباس ہے اور (دوسرے) فوائد ہیں اور ان میں سے بعض کو تم کھاتے (بھی) ہوo

5. And He created cattle: you have warmth in them* and (other) benefits, and you get food from some of them.

* That is through the garments made from their wool and leather.

5. And He alone has created for you the cattle. They are for you a source of warm clothing and (other) benefits. And you (also) eat some of them.

5. WaalanAAama khalaqaha lakum feeha difon wamanafiAAu waminha takuloona

5. Og Han skapte kveget for dere, i dem er det varme klær og (andre) fordeler for dere, og dere spiser noen av dem.

5. और उसी ने तुम्हारे लिए चौपाए पैदा फरमाए, उनमें तुम्हारे लिए गर्म लिबास है और (दूसरे) फवाइद हैं और उनमें से बा’ज़ को तुम खाते (भी) हो।

৫. আর তিনিই তোমাদের জন্যে চতুষ্পদ জন্তু সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এগুলোতে তোমাদের জন্যে রয়েছে উষ্ণ পোষাকের উৎস এবং (অপরাপর) উপকারিতা। আর এ থেকে কিছু তোমরা ভক্ষণ(ও) করো।

6. اور ان میں تمہارے لئے رونق (اور دل کشی بھی) ہے جب تم شام کو چراگاہ سے (واپس) لاتے ہو اور جب تم صبح کو (چرانے کے لئے) لے جاتے ہوo

6. And there is (an aesthetic) beauty in them for you when you drive (them) back from the pasture in the evening and when you drive (them) out in the morning to graze.

6. And there is beauty in them (and also a joy—an aesthetic pleasure) for you when you drive (them back) in the evening from pasture, and when you drive (them) out in the morning (to graze).

6. Walakum feeha jamalun heena tureehoona waheena tasrahoona

6. Og de er et strålende (og hjertegledende) syn for dere når dere driver dem tilbake fra beitemarken om kvelden, og når dere driver dem (til beitemarken) om morgenen.

6. और उनमें तुम्हारे लिए रौनक़ (और दिलकशी भी) है जब तुम शाम को चरागाह से (वापस) लाते हो और जब तुम सुब्ह को (चराने के लिए) ले जाते हो।

৬. আর এতে তোমাদের জন্যে সৌন্দর্য (এবং অন্তরের আকর্ষণও) রয়েছে, যখন তোমরা সন্ধায় চারণক্ষেত্র থেকে (ফিরে) আসো এবং যখন তোমরা সকালে (চরানোর জন্যে) গমন করো।

7. اور یہ (جانور) تمہارے بوجھ (بھی) ان شہروں تک اٹھا لے جاتے ہیں جہاں تم بغیر جانکاہ مشقت کے نہیں پہنچ سکتے تھے، بیشک تمہارا رب نہایت شفقت والا نہایت مہربان ہےo

7. And they carry your heavy loads to lands you could not reach except by straining yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Most Kind, All-Merciful.

7. And these (animals also) carry your loads to those distant cities (and remote areas) where you cannot reach (otherwise) without toiling hard. Surely, your Lord is Most Clement, Ever-Merciful.

7. Watahmilu athqalakum ila baladin lam takoonoo baligheehi illa bishiqqi alanfusi inna rabbakum laraoofun raheemun

7. Og de (dyrene) bærer på lasten deres til byene, som dere ikke kunne ha nådd uten hardt slit. Sannelig, Herren din er svært hjertevarm, evig nåderik.

7. और ये (जानवर) तुमहारे बोझ (भी) उन शहरों तक उठा ले जाते हैं जहां तुम बिग़ैर जान्काह मशक़्क़त के नहीं पहुंच सकते थे, बेशक तुम्हारा रब निहायत शफ्क़त वाला निहायत मेहरबान है।

৭. আর এসব (প্রাণী দূরবর্তী অঞ্চলে এবং) শহরে তোমাদের বোঝা(ও) বহন করে নিয়ে যায়, যেখানে তোমরা প্রাণপণ কষ্ট ব্যতীত পৌঁছতে পারতে না। নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের প্রতিপালক অতিশয় মমতাশীল ও অসীম দয়ালু।

8. اور (اُسی نے) گھوڑوں اور خچروں اور گدھوں کو (پیدا کیا) تاکہ تم ان پر سواری کر سکو اور وہ (تمہارے لئے) باعثِ زینت بھی ہوں، اور وہ (مزید ایسی بازینت سواریوں کو بھی) پیدا فرمائے گا جنہیں تم (آج) نہیں جانتےo

8. And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and as means of attraction. And He creates (many other animals) that you do not (yet) know.

8. And (He is the One Who has created) horses, mules and donkeys so that you may ride them, and that they may serve as means of adornment (for you) as well, and He will (further) create (such ornamented means of conveyance) that you do not know (today).

8. Waalkhayla waalbighala waalhameera litarkabooha wazeenatan wayakhluqu ma la taAAlamoona

8. Og (Han skapte også) hestene, muldyrene og eslene, for at dere skal kunne ri på dem, og for at de skal være til pryd (for dere). Og Han kommer til å skape det (slike nydelige transportmidler) som dere ikke kjenner til (per i dag).

8. और (उसी ने) घोड़ों और ख़च्चरों और गधों को (पैदा किया) ताकि तुम उन पर सवारी कर सको और वोह (तुम्हारे लिए) बाइसे ज़ीनत भी हों, और वोह (मज़ीद ऐसी बा ज़ीनत सवारियों को भी) पैदा फरमाएगा जिन्हें तुम (आज) नहीं जानते।

৮. আর (তিনিই) ঘোড়া, খচ্চর এবং গাধা (সৃষ্টি করেছেন) যাতে তোমরা এগুলোতে আরোহণ করতে পারো এবং এগুলো (তোমাদের জন্যে) সৌন্দর্যেরও কারণ। আর তিনি এগুলো (ছাড়াও সুসজ্জিত বাহনও) সৃষ্টি করবেন, যেগুলো সম্পর্কে (আজ) তোমরা জানো না।

9. اور درمیانی راہ اللہ (کے دروازے) پر جا پہنچتی ہے اور اس میں سے کئی ٹیڑھی راہیں بھی (نکلتی) ہیں، اور اگر وہ چاہتا تو تم سب ہی کو ہدایت فرما دیتاo

9. And it is for Allah to show the straight path, and there are some deviating (ways). If He wished, He could have guided you all.

9. And the middle course reaches (the door of) Allah, and many crooked side tracks also (branch off) from it. And had He so willed, He would have guided all of you.

9. WaAAala Allahi qasdu alssabeeli waminha jairun walaw shaa lahadakum ajmaAAeena

9. Og middelveien når Allah (Allahs port), og det er mange krokveier som stikker ut av den. Og hvis Han hadde villet, kunne Han ha veiledet dere alle sammen.

9. और दर्मियानी राह अल्लाह (के दरवाज़े) पर जा पहुंचती है और उसमें से कई टेढ़ी राहें भी (निकलती) हैं, और अगर वोह चाहता तो तुम सब ही को हिदायत फरमा देता।

৯. আর মধ্যমপথ আল্লাহ্‌র (দরোজার) নিকটে গিয়ে পৌঁছে; এবং এর মধ্যে কিছু বক্র পথও (নির্গত হয়ে) থাকে। আর যদি তিনি চাইতেন, তবে তোমাদের সকলকে হেদায়াত দান করতেন।

10. وہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لئے آسمان کی جانب سے پانی اتارا، اس میں سے (کچھ) پینے کا ہے اور اسی میں سے (کچھ) شجر کاری کا ہے (جس سے نباتات، سبزے اور چراگاہیں شاداب ہوتی ہیں) جن میں تم (اپنے مویشی) چراتے ہوo

10. He is the One Who sends down water from the sky, from which you get some drink, and some of it (is for) plantation, upon which you graze your cattle.

10. He is the One Who has sent down for you water from the sky. (Some) of it is to drink and (some) of it is for plantation. (You irrigate with it plants, vegetation and pastures) wherein you take (your cattle) to graze.

10. Huwa allathee anzala mina alssamai maan lakum minhu sharabun waminhu shajarun feehi tuseemoona

10. Han er Den som har sendt ned vann fra himmelen for dere; noe av det er for å drikke, og noe av det er for planting (som det vokser planter, vegetasjon og beite av), hvor dere lar (buskapen deres) beite.

10. वोही है जिसने तुम्हारे लिए आस्मान की जानिब से पानी उतारा, उसमें से (कुछ) पीने का है और उसी में से (कुछ) शजरकारी का है (जिससे नबातात, सब्ज़े और चरागाहें शादाब होती हैं) जिनमें तुम (अपने मवेशी) चराते हो।

১০. তিনিই তোমাদের জন্যে আকাশ থেকে বারি বর্ষণ করেছেন, এ থেকে (কিছু) পান করার জন্যে আর এরই থেকে (কিছু) গাছপালা জন্মানোর জন্যে (যেগুলোর মাঝে তৃণলতা, সবজি এবং চারণভুমি উদ্গত হয়), যাতে তোমরা (তোমাদের গবাদিপশু) চরাও।

11. اُسی پانی سے تمہارے لئے کھیت اور زیتون اور کھجور اور انگور اور ہر قسم کے پھل (اور میوے) اگاتا ہے، بیشک اِس میں غور و فکر کرنے والے لوگوں کے لئے نشانی ہےo

11. He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines and fruits of all kinds. There is indeed a sign for people who reflect.

11. With the same water, He grows for you crops and olives and date-palms and grapes and all kinds of fruit. Indeed, there are signs in it for those who reflect and meditate.

11. Yunbitu lakum bihi alzzarAAa waalzzaytoona waalnnakheela waalaAAnaba wamin kulli alththamarati inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yatafakkaroona

11. Og ved det vannet lar Han åker, oliven, daddelpalmer, druer og alle sorter frukt vokse for dere. Sannelig, i dette er det tegn for det folk som funderer dypt.

11. उसी पानी से तुम्हारे लिए खेत और ज़ैतून और खजूर और अंगूर और हर क़िस्म के फल (और मेवे) उगाता है, बेशक इसमें ग़ौरो फिक्र करने वाले लोगों के लिए निशानी है।

১১. এ পানি থেকেই তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে শস্য, যয়তূন, খেজুর, আঙ্গুর এবং সকল প্রকারের ফলমূল উদ্গত করেন। নিশ্চয়ই এতে চিন্তাশীলদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন।

12. اور اُسی نے تمہارے لیے رات اور دن کو اور سورج اور چاند کو مسخر کر دیا، اور تمام ستارے بھی اُسی کی تدبیر (سے نظام) کے پابند ہیں، بے شک اس میں عقل رکھنے والے لوگوں کے لیے نشانیاں ہیںo

12. And He has subjected for you the night, the day, the sun and the moon. And the stars have (also) been subjected (for you) by His command. There are indeed signs in that for people who understand.

12. And He (is the One Who) has subjected to your service the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and all the stars have also been made subservient to (the system according to) His strategy. Surely, there are signs in it for those who possess reason.

12. Wasakhkhara lakumu allayla waalnnahara waalshshamsa waalqamara waalnnujoomu musakhkharatun biamrihi inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yaAAqiloona

12. Og Han har underordnet natten og dagen for dere, og solen og månen og stjernene er også underordnet (et system ifølge) Hans plan. Sannelig, i dette er det tegn for det folk som har fornuft.

12. और उसी ने तुम्हारे लिए रात और दिन को और सूरज और चांद को मुसख़्ख़र कर दिया, और तमाम सितारे भी उसीकी तद्‌बीर (से निज़ाम) के पाबन्द हैं, बेशक उसमें अ़क़्ल रखने वाले लोगों के लिए निशानियां हैं।

১২. আর তিনিই রাত ও দিনকে এবং সূর্য ও চন্দ্রকে তোমাদের সেবায় নিয়োজিত করেছেন। আর সকল তারকাও তাঁরই পরিচালনার (কারণে নিয়মের) অধীন। নিশ্চয় এতে বুদ্ধিমানদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন।

13. اور (حیوانات، نباتات اور معدنیات وغیرہ میں سے بقیہ) جو کچھ بھی اس نے تمہارے لئے زمین میں پیدا فرمایا ہے جن کے رنگ (یعنی جنسیں، نوعیں، قسمیں، خواص اور منافع) الگ الگ ہیں (سب تمہارے لئے مسخر ہیں)، بیشک اس میں نصیحت قبول کرنے والے لوگوں کے لئے نشانی ہےo

13. And whatever He has created for you on the earth, of different colours (and characteristics is also for your benefit). There is indeed a sign for people who accept admonition.

13. And (of the animal world, vegetable world and minerals,) whatever He has created for you in the earth which have separate colours (genders, species, classes, characteristics and benefits, etc. —all have been subdued to your service). Verily, there is a sign in it for those who take advice.

13. Wama tharaa lakum fee alardi mukhtalifan alwanuhu inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yaththakkaroona

13. Og alt det Han har skapt for dere på jorden (av dyr, vegetasjon, mineraler), dets farger er forskjellige (kjønn, arter, klasser, egenskaper, fordeler; og alle er blitt stilt til deres tjeneste). Sannelig, i dette er det tegn for det folk som godtar formaningen.

13. और (है़वानात, नबातात और मा’दनियात वगै़रा में से बक़िय्या) जो कुछ भी उसने तुम्हारे लिए ज़मीन में पैदा फरमाया है जिनके रंग (यानी जिन्सें, नौऐं, किस्में, ख़वास और मनाफे ’) अलग अलग हैं (सब तुम्हारे लिए मुसख़्ख़र हैं), बेशक उसमें नसीहत क़बूल करने वाले लोगों के लिए निशानी है।

১৩. আর (প্রাণী, তৃণলতা, খনিজসম্পদ ও অন্যান্য অবশিষ্ট) যা কিছুই তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে পৃথিবীতে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, যার রং (অর্থাৎ জাত, প্রজাতি, শ্রেণী, বৈশিষ্ট্য এবং উপকারিতা) ভিন্ন ভিন্ন (সবকিছু তোমাদের সেবার অধীনস্ত)। নিশ্চয়ই এতে উপদেশগ্রহণকারী লোকদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন ।

14. اور وہی ہے جس نے (فضا و بر کے علاوہ) بحر (یعنی دریاؤں اور سمندروں) کو بھی مسخر فرما دیا تاکہ تم اس میں سے تازہ (و پسندیدہ) گوشت کھاؤ اور تم اس میں سے موتی (وغیرہ) نکالو جنہیں تم زیبائش کے لئے پہنتے ہو، اور (اے انسان!) تُو کشتیوں (اور جہازوں) کو دیکھتا ہے جو (دریاؤں اور سمندروں کا) پانی چیرتے ہوئے اس میں چلے جاتے ہیں، اور (یہ سب کچھ اس لئے کیا) تاکہ تم (دور دور تک) اس کا فضل (یعنی رزق) تلاش کرو اور یہ کہ تم شکر گزار بن جاؤo

14. And He is the One Who has subjected the sea that you may eat fresh meat (i.e. seafood) out of it, and extract from it ornaments (i.e. gems and pearls) that you wear (as jewellery). And you see the ships penetrating through it, and (this is so) that you may seek His Grace and give thanks.

14. And He is the One Who has subjected the sea (rivers and oceans) as well (in addition to air and land) so that you may eat fresh (and favourite) seafood from there and may take out from them gems (etc.) that you wear as ornaments. And, (O man,) you see the vessels (and ships) that pierce through the water (of the rivers and oceans). And (all this has been managed) so that you may look for His bounty (i.e., sustenance, far and wide) and also that you may become thankful.

14. Wahuwa allathee sakhkhara albahra litakuloo minhu lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoo minhu hilyatan talbasoonaha watara alfulka mawakhira feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona

14. Og Han er Den som har underordnet havet (og elver, og i tillegg til det luft og land), slik at dere kan spise ferskt kjøtt av det (som dere foretrekker) og ta ut av det perler (og andre prydsaker) som dere bærer for pynt. Og (å, menneske!), du ser skipene skjære seg gjennom (elvers og havs) vann, og (dette ble gjort) for at dere skal søke Hans velvilje (forsyning, ved å ferdes vidt og bredt), og slik at dere må bli takknemlige.

14. और वोही है जिसने (फिज़ाओ बर्र के अ़लावा) बहर (यानी दरियाओं और समन्दरों) को भी मुसख़्ख़र फरमा दिया ताकि तुम उसमें से ताज़ा (व पसन्दीदा) गोश्त खाओ और तुम उसमें से मोती (वगै़रा) निकालो जिन्हें तुम जै़बाइश के लिए पहनते हो, और (ऐ इंसान!) तू कश्तियों (और जहाज़ों) को देखता है जो (दरियाओं और समन्दरों का) पानी चीरते हुए उसमें चले जाते हैं, और (ये सब कुछ इसलिए किया) ताकि तुम (दूर दूर तक) उसका फज़्ल (यानी रिज़्क़) तलाश करो और ये कि तुम शुक्रगुज़ार बन जाओ।

১৪. আর তিনিই (বায়ুমন্ডল ও ভুপৃষ্ঠ ব্যতীত) সমুদ্রকেও (অর্থাৎ নদীনালা ও মহাসাগরকে) বশীভূত করে দিয়েছেন যাতে তোমরা তা থেকে তাজা (ও পছন্দনীয়) মাংস খেতে পারো এবং তোমরা তা থেকে মুক্তা (ও অন্যান্য কিছু) বের করে নিতে পারো, যেগুলোকে তোমরা অলঙ্কার হিসাবে পরিধান করো। আর (হে মানুষ!) তোমরা দেখতে পাও নৌকা (এবং জাহাজ নদীনালা ও মহাসাগরের) পানি ভেদ করে তাতে চলাফেরা করে। আর (এ সকল কিছু এ জন্যে করা হয়েছে) যাতে তোমরা (দূর-দূরান্ত পর্যন্ত) তাঁর অনুগ্রহ (অর্থাৎ রিযিক) অন্বেষণ করো; আর এ জন্যে যে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা আদায়কারী হও।

15. اور اسی نے زمین میں (مختلف مادوں کو باہم ملا کر) بھاری پہاڑ بنا دیئے تاکہ ایسا نہ ہو کہ کہیں وہ (اپنے مدار میں حرکت کرتے ہوئے) تمہیں لے کر کانپنے لگے اور نہریں اور (قدرتی) راستے (بھی) بنائے تاکہ تم (منزلوں تک پہنچنے کے لئے) راہ پا سکوo

15. And He has cast firm mountains in the earth lest it shakes beneath you. And (He has made) the rivers and pathways, so you may be guided (to reach your destination).

15. And He is the One Who has created firm mountains in the earth (by allying various elements) lest it tremor whilst carrying you (revolving in its orbit), and rivers and (also natural) routes so that you may find way (to reach the destinations),

15. Waalqa fee alardi rawasiya an tameeda bikum waanharan wasubulan laAAallakum tahtadoona

15. Og Han skapte faste fjell på jorden (ved å slå sammen forskjellige substanser), for at den ikke skulle begynne å skjelve med dere (mens den roterte i sin bane), og Han skapte elver og (naturlige) veier, slik at dere må finne veien (for å nå destinasjonene),

15. और उसी ने ज़मीन में (मुख़्तलिफ माद्दों को बाहम मिला कर) भारी पहाड़ बना दिए ताकि ऐसा न हो कि कहीं वोह (अपने मदार में हरकत करते हुए) तुम्हें लेकर कांपने लगे और नहरें और (क़ुदरती) रास्ते (भी) बनाए ताकि तुम (मंज़िलों तक पहुंचने के लिए) राह पा सको।

১৫. আর তিনিই পৃথিবীতে (বিভিন্ন উপাদানের সংমিশ্রণে) সুদৃঢ় পর্বত স্থাপন করেছেন, যাতে এমন যেন না হয় যে, কখনো এটি (স্বীয় কক্ষপথে পরিভ্রমণ করতে করতে) তোমাদেরকে নিয়ে কম্পন শুরু করে দেয়; আর নদীনালা এবং (প্রাকৃতিক) পথও তৈরি করেছেন যাতে তোমরা (অভীষ্ট লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছুতে) পথ পেতে পারো।

16. اور (دن کو راہ تلاش کرنے کے لئے) علامتیں بنائیں، اور (رات کو) لوگ ستاروں کے ذریعہ (بھی) راہ پاتے ہیںo

16. And (there are) landmarks (to help navigate during the day), and (at night) they are guided by the stars.

16. And set up landmarks (to navigate during the day). And (at night as well) people find (their) way by means of the stars.

16. WaAAalamatin wabialnnajmi hum yahtadoona

16. og landemerker (for å finne veien på dagtid). Og folk finner veien ved stjernene (om natten).

16. और (दिन को राह तलाश करने के लिए) अ़लामतें बनाईं, और (रात को) लोग सितारों के ज़रीए (भी) राह पाते हैं।

১৬. আর (তিনি দিনকে পথ অন্বেষণের জন্যে) চিহ্ন বানিয়েছেন, এবং তারা (রাতে) তারকার মাধ্যমে(ও) পথ খুঁজে পায়।

17. کیا وہ خالق جو (اتنا کچھ) پیدا فرمائے اس کے مثل ہو سکتا ہے جو (کچھ بھی) پیدا نہ کر سکے، کیا تم لوگ نصیحت قبول نہیں کرتےo

17. So can the One Who creates be like the one who cannot create? Will you not then be mindful of advice?

17. Can the Creator, Who creates (all that), be like the one who cannot create (anything)? Do you not then accept advice?

17. Afaman yakhluqu kaman la yakhluqu afala tathakkaroona

17. Kan da Han som skaper (så mye), være lik den som ikke kan skape (noe som helst)? Vil dere da ikke godta formaningen?

17. क्या वोह ख़ालिक़ जो (इतना कुछ) पैदा फरमाए उसके मिस्ल हो सकता है जो (कुछ भी) पैदा न कर सके, क्या तुम लोग नसीहत क़बूल नहीं करते?

১৭. তিনি স্রষ্টা যিনি (এসব) সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তাঁর মতো কি সে হতে পারে যে (কিছুই) সৃষ্টি করতে পারে না? তোমরা কি উপদেশ গ্রহণ করো না?

18. اور اگر تم اللہ کی نعمتوں کو شمار کرنا چاہو تو انہیں پورا شمار نہ کر سکو گے، بیشک اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہےo

18. And if you were to count the blessings of Allah, you would never be able to count them. Indeed, Allah is Most-Forgiving, All-Merciful.

18. And if you want to count the favours of Allah, you will not be able to number them all. Surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Ever-Merciful.

18. Wain taAAuddoo niAAmata Allahi la tuhsooha inna Allaha laghafoorun raheemun

18. Og hvis dere ønsker å telle Allahs velgjerninger, kan dere aldri telle dem alle. Sannelig, Allah er mest tilgivende, evig nåderik.

18. और अगर तुम अल्लाह की नेअ़मतों को शुमार करना चाहो तो उन्हें पूरा शुमार न कर सकोगे, बेशक अल्लाह बड़ा बख़्शने वाला निहायत मेहरबान है।

১৮. আর যদি তোমরা আল্লাহ্‌র নিয়ামত গণনা করতে চাও তবে সেগুলো পুরো গণনা করতে পারবে না। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ মহাক্ষমাশীল, অসীম দয়ালু।

19. اور اللہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم چھپاتے ہو اور جو کچھ تم ظاہر کرتے ہوo

19. And Allah knows whatever you hide and whatever you disclose.

19. And Allah knows what you hide and what you show.

19. WaAllahu yaAAlamu ma tusirroona wama tuAAlinoona

19. Og Allah kjenner til det dere skjuler, og det dere synliggjør.

19. और अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ तुम छुपाते हो और जो कुछ तुम ज़ाहिर करते हो।

১৯. আর আল্লাহ্ জানেন, যা কিছু তোমরা গোপন করো এবং যা কিছু তোমরা প্রকাশ করো।

20. اور یہ (مشرک) لوگ جن (بتوں) کو اللہ کے سوا پوجتے ہیں وہ کچھ بھی پیدا نہیں کر سکتے بلکہ وہ خود پیدا کئے گئے ہیںo

20. And those (idols) they worship besides Allah do not create anything and are themselves created.

20. And (the idols) whom these (polytheists) worship besides Allah cannot create anything; they have rather been created themselves.

20. Waallatheena yadAAoona min dooni Allahi la yakhluqoona shayan wahum yukhlaqoona

20. Og de (avgudene) som disse (flergudsdyrkerne) tilber utenom Allah, kan ikke skape noe som helst, faktisk så er de selv blitt skapt.

20. और ये (मुश्रिक) लोग जिन (बुतों) को अल्लाह के सिवा पूजते हैं वोह कुछ भी पैदा नहीं कर सकते बल्कि वोह ख़ुद पैदा किए गए है।

২০. আর এ (মুশরিক) লোকগুলো আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত যে সবের পূজা করে সেসব (মূর্তি) কিছুই সৃষ্টি করতে পারে না, বরং তারা নিজেরাই সৃষ্ট।

21. (وہ) مُردے ہیں زندہ نہیں، اور (انہیں اتنا بھی) شعور نہیں کہ (لوگ) کب اٹھائے جائیں گےo

21. (They are) dead, not alive, and they are not (even) aware of when they (i.e. their worshippers) will be resurrected.

21. (They) are non-living, inanimate objects which do not (even) sense when the people will be raised up.

21. Amwatun ghayru ahyain wama yashAAuroona ayyana yubAAathoona

21. (De er) døde og ikke levende, og de aner ikke engang når folk vil bli gjenoppvekket.

21. (वोह) मुर्दे हैं ज़िन्दा नहीं, और (उन्हें इतना भी) शुऊर नहीं कि (लोग) कब उठाए जाएंगे।

২১. (তারা) মৃত, জীবিত নয়। আর (তাদের এতটুকুও) চেতনা নেই যে (মানুষকে) কখন উত্থিত করা হবে।

22. تمہارا معبود، معبودِ یکتا ہے، پس جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے ان کے دل منکر ہیں اور وہ سرکش و متکبّر ہیںo

22. Your God is (only) One God. Those who do not believe in the Hereafter—their hearts are deniers, and they are arrogant.

22. Your God is One God. So those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deniers at heart and are beliers and arrogant.

22. Ilahukum ilahun wahidun faallatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati quloobuhum munkiratun wahum mustakbiroona

22. Deres tilbedelsesverdige Herre (Allah) er Én (alene) Tilbedelsesverdig! De som ikke tror på det hinsidige, deres hjerte er fornektere, og de er oppsetsige og hovmodige.

22. तुम्हारा माबूद, माबूदे यक्ता है, पस जो लोग आख़िरत पर ईमान नहीं रखते उनके दिल मुन्किर हैं और वोह सरकशो मु-त-कब्बिर हैं।

২২. তোমাদের ইলাহ্ একক ইলাহ্। সুতরাং যারা আখেরাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না তাদের অন্তর অস্বীকারকারী, তারা অবাধ্য ও অহঙ্কারী।

23. یہ بات حق و ثابت ہے کہ اللہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور جو کچھ وہ ظاہر کرتے ہیں، بیشک وہ سرکشوں متکبّروں کو پسند نہیں کرتاo

23. There is no doubt that Allah knows whatever they conceal and whatever they reveal. Indeed, He does not like the arrogant.

23. This is true and established that Allah knows all that they hide and all that they show. Surely, He does not like the defiers and arrogant.

23. La jarama anna Allaha yaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona innahu la yuhibbu almustakbireena

23. Det er sannelig sant at Allah vet om alt det de skjuler, og alt det de synliggjør. Sannelig, Han liker ikke de hovmodige.

23. ये बात हक़्क़ो साबित है कि अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ वोह छुपाते हैं और जो कुछ वोह ज़ाहिर करते हैं, बेशक वोह सरकशों मु-त-कब्बिरों को पसन्द नहीं करता।

২৩. এ বিষয়টি সত্য ও সুদৃঢ় যে, আল্লাহ্ অবগত আছেন যা কিছু তারা লুকিয়ে রাখে এবং যা কিছু তারা প্রকাশ করে। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি অবাধ্য ও অহঙ্কারীকে পছন্দ করেন না।

24. اور جب اُن سے پوچھا جاتا ہے کہ تمہارے رب نے کیا نازل فرمایا ہے؟ (تو) وہ کہتے ہیں: اگلی قوموں کے جھوٹے قصے (اتارے ہیں)o

24. And when it is said to them: ‘What has your Lord revealed?’ They say: ‘Stories of the ancient people.’

24. And when they are asked: ‘What has your Lord sent down?’ they retort: ‘False fables of the people gone by (have been sent down).’

24. Waitha qeela lahum matha anzala rabbukum qaloo asateeru alawwaleena

24. Og når det blir spurt dem: «Hva har Herren deres åpenbart?» svarer de: «De henfarnes falske historier!»

24. और जब उनसे पूछा जाता है कि तुम्हारे रब ने क्या नाज़िल फरमाया है? (तो) वोह कहते हैं: अगली क़ौमों के झूटे क़िस्से (उतारे हैं) ।

২৪. আর যখন তাদের জিজ্ঞেস করা হয়, ‘তোমাদের প্রতিপালক কী অবতীর্ণ করেছেন?’ (তখন) তারা বলে, ‘পূর্ববর্তী সম্প্রদায়ের মিথ্যা কাহিনী (অবতীর্ণ করেছেন)’।

25. (یہ سب کچھ اس لئے کہہ رہے ہیں) تاکہ روزِ قیامت وہ اپنے (اعمالِ بد کے) پورے پورے بوجھ اٹھائیں اور کچھ بوجھ اُن لوگوں کے بھی (اٹھائیں) جنہیں (اپنی) جہالت کے ذریعہ گمراہ کئے جا رہے ہیں، جان لو! بہت بُرا بوجھ ہے جو یہ اٹھا رہے ہیںo

25. (This is so) that, on the Day of Resurrection, they may bear their entire burdens, as well as the burdens of those whom they mislead without knowledge. Beware! Evil is what they bear!

25. (They are making all these utterances) so that they may carry a full load (of their evildoings) on the Day of Resurrection, and also (carry) some of the load of those that they are misguiding due to (their) ignorance. Beware! It is an extremely evil load which they are carrying.

25. Liyahmiloo awzarahum kamilatan yawma alqiyamati wamin awzari allatheena yudilloonahum bighayri AAilmin ala saa ma yaziroona

25. De skal få å bære på sin (sine synders) fulle last på oppstandelsens dag, og noe av lasten til dem som de forviller med (sin) uvitenhet. Vit! Elendig er den lasten de bærer på.

25. (ये सब कुछ इसलिए कह रहे हैं) ताकि रोजे़ क़ियामत वोह अपने (आमाले बद के) पूरे-पूरे बोझ उठाएं और कुछ बोझ उन लोगों के भी (उठाएं) जिन्हें (अपनी) जहालत के ज़रीए गुमराह किए जा रहे हैं, जान लो! बहुत बुरा बोझ है जो ये उठा रहे हैं।

২৫. (এসব কিছু এ জন্যে বলে যে,) যাতে কিয়ামত দিবসে তারা নিজেদের (খারাপ কাজের) সম্পূর্ণ বোঝা বহন করে এবং সেসব লোকদেরও কিছু বোঝা (বহন করে) যাদেরকে (নিজেদের) অজ্ঞতার মাধ্যমে তারা গোমরাহ্ করছে। জেনে রেখো, এ খুবই মন্দ বোঝা যা তারা বহন করছে।

26. بیشک اُن لوگوں نے (بھی) فریب کیا جو اِن سے پہلے تھے تو اللہ نے اُن (کے مکر و فریب) کی عمارت کو بنیادوں سے اکھاڑ دیا تو ان کے اوپر سے ان پر چھت گر پڑی اور ان پر اس طرف سے عذاب آپہنچا جس کا اُنہیں کچھ خیال بھی نہ تھاo

26. Those before them had also schemed, but Allah demolished their constructions from the foundation. So the roof collapsed upon them from above, and the punishment overtook them from where they could not perceive.

26. No doubt, those who lived before them (also) devised plots, but Allah knocked down the edifice (of their deceptive plots) from its foundations, and the roof caved in upon them, and the torment came at them from whence they least expected.

26. Qad makara allatheena min qablihim faata Allahu bunyanahum mina alqawaAAidi fakharra AAalayhimu alssaqfu min fawqihim waatahumu alAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona

26. Sannelig, også de som var før dem, drev med renkespill, men Allah rykket opp byggverkene deres (av renker og svik) med røttene, og ovenfra styrtet det tak over dem, og pinen kom over dem fra det holdet som de ikke hadde forventet.

26. बेशक उन लोगों ने (भी) फरेब किया जो इनसे पहले थे तो अल्लाह ने उन (के मक्रो फरेब) की इमारत को बुन्यादों से उखाड़ दिया तो उनके ऊपर से उन पर छत गिर पड़ी और उन पर उस तरफ से अ़ज़ाब आ पहुंचा जिसका उन्हें कुछ ख़याल भी न था।

২৬. নিশ্চয়ই যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল তারা(ও) চক্রান্ত করেছিল; তখন আল্লাহ্ তাদেরকে (তাদের চক্রান্ত ও প্রতারণাসহ) প্রাসাদের মূলভিত্তি থেকে উপড়ে দিয়েছিলেন  এবং তাদের উপর ছাদ ধ্বসে পড়েছিল। আর তাদের উপর এমন সব দিক থেকে শাস্তি এসে পৌঁছলো যা সম্পর্কে তাদের কোনো ধারণাই ছিল না।

27. پھر وہ اُنہیں قیامت کے دن رسوا کرے گا اور ارشاد فرمائے گا: میرے وہ شریک کہاں ہیں جن کے حق میں تم (مومنوں سے) جھگڑا کرتے تھے؟ وہ لوگ جنہیں علم دیا گیا ہے کہیں گے: بیشک آج کافروں پر (ہر قسم کی) رسوائی اور بربادی ہےo

27. Then, He will disgrace them on the Day of Resurrection and say: ‘Where are My (so-called) partners, on whose account you used to oppose (Me and the believers)?’ Those given knowledge will say: ‘Indeed, today, the disgrace and the distress are upon the disbelievers.’

27. Then He will humiliate them on the Day of Resurrection and say: ‘Where are those that you set up as peers to Me, and in whose favour you disputed (with the believers)?’ Those endowed with knowledge will say: ‘Today (all types of) humiliation and destruction will surely befall the disbelievers,

27. Thumma yawma alqiyamati yukhzeehim wayaqoolu ayna shurakaiya allatheena kuntum tushaqqoona feehim qala allatheena ootoo alAAilma inna alkhizya alyawma waalssooa AAala alkafireena

27. Deretter vil Han på oppstandelsens dag vanære dem, og Han vil si: «Hvor er Mine (såkalte) likestilte, som dere pleide å krangle (med de troende) om?» De som er blitt gitt kunnskap, vil si: «Sannelig, i dag er det all slags nedverdigelse og ruinering av de vantro!

27. फिर वोह उन्हें क़ियामत के दिन रुस्वा करेगा और इर्शाद फरमाएगा: मेरे वोह शरीक कहां हैं जिनके हक़्क़ में तुम (मोमिनों से) झगड़ा करते थे, वोह लोग जिन्हें इल्म दिया गया है कहेंगे: बेशक आज काफिरों पर (हर क़िस्म की) रुस्वाई और बर्बादी है।

২৭. অতঃপর তিনি তাদেরকে কিয়ামত দিবসে অপদস্ত করবেন আর বলবেন, ‘কোথায় আমার সেসব অংশীদার যাদের ব্যাপারে তোমরা (মুমিনদের সাথে) ঝগড়া করতে?’ যাদেরকে জ্ঞান দেয়া হয়েছে তারা বলবে, ‘নিশ্চয়ই আজ কাফেরদের জন্যে (সকল প্রকারের) অপমান এবং ধ্বংস’

28. جن کی روحیں فرشتے اس حال میں قبض کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنی جانوں پر (بدستور) ظلم کئے جا رہے ہوں، سو وہ (روزِ قیامت) اطاعت و فرمانبرداری کا اظہار کریں گے (اور کہیں گے:) ہم (دنیا میں) کوئی برائی نہیں کیا کرتے تھے، کیوں نہیں بیشک اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم کیا کرتے تھےo

28. Those whose souls the angels take away while they are wronging themselves will then offer submission (and say): ‘We were not committing any evil (in our life)!’ ‘Yes! Indeed Allah is All-Knowing of what you were doing!

28. Those whom the angels cause to die, whilst they are (constantly) doing wrong to their own souls.’ They will display obedience and submission (on the Day of Resurrection and say:) ‘We were not given to doing any evil (in the world).’ No indeed! Allah surely has thorough knowledge of what you used to do.

28. Allatheena tatawaffahumu almalaikatu thalimee anfusihim faalqawoo alssalama ma kunna naAAmalu min sooin bala inna Allaha AAaleemun bima kuntum taAAmaloona

28. Dem som englene tar sjelen til når de gjør sin egen sjel ondt (konstant).» De vil vise lydighet og underkastelse (på oppstandelsens dag og si): «Vi pleide ikke å gjøre noe dårlig (i jordelivet)!» Nei, derimot! Sannelig, Allah er allvitende om det dere pleide å bedrive.

28. जिन की रूहें फरिश्ते इस हाल में क़ब्ज़ करते हैं कि वोह अपनी जानों पर (बदस्तूर) ज़ुल्म किए जा रहे हों, सो वोह (रोज़े क़ियामत) इताअ़तो फरमांबर्दारी का इज़्हार करेंगे (और कहेंगे:) हम (दुन्या में) कोई बुराई नहीं किया करते थे, क्यों नहीं बेशक अल्लाह ख़ूब जानता है जो कुछ तुम किया करते थे।

,২৮. যাদের রূহ ফেরেশতাগণ এমন অবস্থায় হরণ করবে যখন তারা নিজেদের প্রাণের উপর (অবিরাম) যুলুমরত। সুতরাং তারা (কিয়ামত দিবসে) নতি স্বীকার ও আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করবে। (আর বলবে,) ‘আমরা (দুনিয়াতে) কোনো মন্দ কাজ করতাম না’। কেন নয়! নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ খুবই অবগত, যা কিছু তোমরা করতে।

29. پس تم دوزخ کے دروازوں سے داخل ہو جاؤ، تم اس میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہو، سو تکبّر کرنے والوں کا کیا ہی برا ٹھکانا ہےo

29. So, enter the gates of Hell to remain in it forever. So surely, evil is the (final) abode of the arrogant.’

29. So, enter the gates of Hell. You are its permanent residents. So how evil is the abode of the arrogant!

29. Faodkhuloo abwaba jahannama khalideena feeha falabisa mathwa almutakabbireena

29. Så gå nå inn gjennom helvetes porter; alltid skal dere være der. Hvor elendig de hovmodiges oppholdssted er!

29. पस तुम दोज़ख़ के दरवाज़ों से दाख़िल हो जाओ, तुम उसमें हमेशा रहने वाले हो, सो तकब्बुर करने वालों का क्या ही बुरा ठिकाना है।

২৯. অতঃপর তোমরা জাহান্নামের ফটকে প্রবেশ করো। তোমরা তাতে চিরকাল অবস্থানকারী। সুতরাং অহঙ্কারকারীদের কতোই না মন্দ ঠিকানা!

30. اور پرہیزگار لوگوں سے کہا جائے کہ تمہارے رب نے کیا نازل فرمایا ہے؟ وہ کہتے ہیں: (دنیا و آخرت کی) بھلائی (اتاری ہے)، ان لوگوں کے لئے جو نیکی کرتے رہے اس دنیا میں (بھی) بھلائی ہے، اور آخرت کا گھر تو ضرور ہی بہتر ہے، اور پرہیزگاروں کا گھر کیا ہی خوب ہےo

30. And it will be said to those who were God-conscious: ‘What did your Lord send down?’ They will say: ‘Goodness.’ For those who were excellent in goodness in this world, there will be a beautiful reward, and the abode of the Hereafter (for them) will be far better. The abode of the God-conscious is surely wonderful.

30. And (when) the Godfearing are asked: ‘What has your Lord sent down?’ they say: ‘All good (for here and the Hereafter has been sent down).’ There is good for those who do good in this world (too), and certainly the abode of the Hereafter is even better. And how excellent is the abode of those who are Godfearing!

30. Waqeela lillatheena ittaqaw matha anzala rabbukum qaloo khayran lillatheena ahsanoo fee hathihi alddunya hasanatun waladaru alakhirati khayrun walaniAAma daru almuttaqeena

30. Og om det blir sagt til de gudfryktige: «Hva har Herren deres åpenbart?», svarer de: «(Han har åpenbart) det gode (både for jordelivet og for det hinsidige liv)!» De som handler dydig, venter det gode i denne verden, og det hinsidiges hjem er visselig bedre. Og hvor fortreffelig de gudfryktiges hjem er.

30. और परहेज़गार लोगों से कहा जाए कि तुम्हारे रब ने क्या नाज़िल फरमाया है? वोह कहते हैं: (दुन्याओ आख़िरत की) भलाई (उतारी है), उन लोगों के लिए जो नेकी करते रहे इस दुन्या में (भी) भलाई है, और आख़िरत का घर तो ज़रूर ही बेहतर है, और परहेज़गारों का घर क्या ही ख़ूब है।

৩০. আর পরহেযগারগণকে বলা হবে, ‘তোমাদের প্রতিপালক কী অবতীর্ণ করেছেন?’ তারা বলবে, ‘(দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতের) কল্যাণ (অবতীর্ণ করেছেন)’। যারা নেক কাজ করছে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে এ দুনিয়াতে(ও) কল্যাণ; আর পরকালের গৃহ তো অবশ্যই উত্তম। আর পরহেযগারদের গৃহ কতোই না উৎকৃষ্ট!

31. سدا بہار باغات ہیں جن میں وہ داخل ہوں گے جن کے نیچے سے نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی، اِن میں اُن کے لئے جو کچھ وہ چاہیں گے (میسّر) ہوگا، اس طرح اللہ پرہیزگاروں کو صلہ عطا فرماتا ہےo

31. (These are) the Gardens of Eternity, which they will enter, with rivers flowing beneath them. There, they shall have whatever they desire. That is how Allah rewards those who are God-conscious.

31. There are Gardens of Eternity which they will enter with streams flowing under them. Therein will be (available) whatever they will long for. That is how Allah rewards the Godfearing.

31. Jannatu AAadnin yadkhuloonaha tajree min tahtiha alanharu lahum feeha ma yashaoona kathalika yajzee Allahu almuttaqeena

31. De vil tre inn i Edens hager, elver vil flyte under dem, i dem vil det være (tilgjengelig) hva de enn måtte ønske seg. Slik belønner Allah de gudfryktige,

31. सदा बहार बाग़ात हैं जिनमें वोह दाख़िल होंगे जिनके नीचे से नहरें बह रही होंगी, उनमें उनके लिए जो कुछ वोह चाहेंगे (मुयस्सर) होगा, इस तरह अल्लाह परहेज़गारों को सिला अ़ता फरमाता है।

৩১. চিরসবুজ বাগান যাতে তারা প্রবেশ করবে, যার তলদেশে স্রোতধারা প্রবাহিত হবে। সেখানে তারা যা কিছু চাইবে তাদের জন্যে তা (প্রাপ্য) হবে। এভাবে আল্লাহ্ পরহেযগারদের প্রতিদান প্রদান করেন

32. جن کی روحیں فرشتے اس حال میں قبض کرتے ہیں کہ وہ (نیکی و طاعت کے باعث) پاکیزہ اور خوش و خرم ہوں، (ان سے فرشتے قبضِ روح کے وقت ہی کہہ دیتے ہیں:) تم پر سلامتی ہو، تم جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ ان (اَعمالِ صالحہ) کے باعث جو تم کیا کرتے تھےo

32. Those whose souls the angels take away while they are in a state of (goodness and) purity, they will say (to them): ‘Peace be upon you! Enter Paradise for what you have been doing.’

32. The angels take their lives whilst they are pure, clean, pleased and contented (due to obedience and piety. The angels tell them the moment they take their lives:) ‘Peace be upon you! Enter Paradise due to (the pious deeds) that you used to do.’

32. Allatheena tatawaffahumu almalaikatu tayyibeena yaqooloona salamun AAalaykumu odkhuloo aljannata bima kuntum taAAmaloona

32. dem som englene tar sjelen til når de er rene, gledefylte og tilfredse (ved fromhet og underkastelse); (i det øyeblikket englene tar sjelen deres) sier englene: «Fred være med dere! Gå inn i paradiset takket være det dere pleide å gjøre (av rettskafne handlinger).»

32. जिनकी रूहें फरिश्ते इस हाल में क़ब्ज करते हैं कि वोह (नेकीओ ताअ़त के बाइस) पाकीज़ा और खु़शो खु़र्रम हों, (उनसे फरिश्ते क़ब्जे रूह के वक़्त ही कह देते हैं:) तुम पर सलामती हो, तुम जन्नत में दाख़िल हो जाओ उन (आमाले सालेहा) के बाइस जो तुम किया करते थे।

,৩২. যাদের রূহ ফেরেশতাগণ এমন অবস্থায় হরণ করবে যখন তারা (নেকী ও আনুগত্যের কারণে) পূতঃপবিত্র, আনন্দিত ও প্রফুল্লিত। (তাদেরকে ফেরেশতারা রূহ হরণ করার সময়েই বলে দেবে,) ‘তোমাদের উপর শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক। তোমরা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করো, সে (নেক আমলের) কারণে যা তোমরা করতে।’

33. یہ اور کس چیز کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں سوائے اِس کے کہ ِان کے پاس فرشتے آجائیں یا آپ کے رب کا حکمِ (عذاب) آپہنچے، یہی کچھ ان لوگوں نے (بھی) کیا تھا جو اِن سے پہلے تھے، اور اللہ نے اُن پر ظلم نہیں کیا تھا لیکن وہ خود ہی اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا کرتے تھےo

33. Are they only waiting for the angels to come upon them, or should your Lord’s command come? Those who were before them did the same. Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.

33. And what else are they waiting for except that the angels should come to them, or there should reach the command (of torment) from your Lord? Those before them (also) did the same. And Allah did not do them any wrong, but they themselves used to wrong their own souls.

33. Hal yanthuroona illa an tatiyahumu almalaikatu aw yatiya amru rabbika kathalika faAAala allatheena min qablihim wama thalamahumu Allahu walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona

33. Hva annet avventer de enn at englene skal komme til dem, eller at din Herres (pines) befaling skal ankomme? Det samme gjorde de som var før dem, og Allah var ikke ond mot dem, derimot gjorde de sin egen sjel ondt.

33. ये और किस चीज़ का इन्तिज़ार कर रहे हैं सिवाए इसके कि इनके पास फरिश्ते आ जाएं या आपके रब का हुक्मे (अ़ज़ाब) आ पहुंचे, येही कुछ उन लोगों ने (भी) किया था जो उनसे पहले थे, और अल्लाह ने उन पर जुल्म नहीं किया था लेकिन वोह ख़ुद ही अपनी जानों पर ज़ुल्म किया करते थे।

৩৩. তারা আর কোন্ বস্তুর জন্যে অপেক্ষা করছে, এ ছাড়া যে, তাদের নিকট ফেরেশতারা আসে অথবা আপনার প্রতিপালকের (শাস্তির) নির্দেশ এসে পৌঁছে? যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল তারা(ও) এমন কিছুই করতো। আর আল্লাহ্ তাদের উপর যুলুম করেননি; বরং তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের আত্মার উপর যুলুম করতো।

34. سو جو اَعمال انہوں نے کئے تھے انہی کی سزائیں ان کو پہنچیں اور اسی (عذاب) نے انہیں آگھیرا جس کا وہ مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھےo

34. So the evil (consequences) of what they had earned afflicted them. And the very thing they used to ridicule surrounded them (with death).

34. So the punishments that came upon them were due to the acts that they had perpetrated, and the same (chastisement) they used to make fun of engulfed them.

34. Faasabahum sayyiatu ma AAamiloo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona

34. De ble nådd av straffen for de handlingene de gjorde, og den (pinen) de pleide å gjøre narr av, omringet dem.

34. सो जो आमाल उन्होंने किए थे उन ही की सज़ाएं उनको पहुंचीं और उसी (अ़ज़ाब) ने उन्हें आ घेरा जिसका वोह मज़ाक उड़ाया करते थे।

৩৪. সুতরাং যে আমল তারা করেছিল, তারই শাস্তি তাদের উপর এসেছিল। আর এটাই (এ শাস্তিই) তাদেরকে বেষ্টন করেছিল যা নিয়ে তারা উপহাস করতো।

35. اور مشرک لوگ کہتے ہیں: اگر اللہ چاہتا تو ہم اس کے سوا کسی بھی چیز کی پرستش نہ کرتے، نہ ہی ہم اور نہ ہمارے باپ دادا، اور نہ ہم اس کے (حکم کے) بغیر کسی چیز کو حرام قرار دیتے، یہی کچھ ان لوگوں نے (بھی) کیا تھا جو اِن سے پہلے تھے، تو کیا رسولوں کے ذمہ (اللہ کے پیغام اور احکام) واضح طور پر پہنچا دینے کے علاوہ بھی کچھ ہےo

35. And those who ascribe partners to Allah say: ‘If Allah had wished, we would not have worshipped anything besides Him—not us, nor our fathers—nor would we have forbidden anything without (permission from) Him.’ Those who were before them did the same. Is anything incumbent upon the messengers except the clear proclamation?

35. And those who set up peers with Allah say: ‘Had Allah so willed, we would not have worshipped anything apart from Him, neither we nor our fathers. Nor would we have forbidden anything without His (command).’ Those before them (also) did the same. Are the Messengers responsible for anything in addition to clearly conveying (the message and commandments of Allah)?

35. Waqala allatheena ashrakoo law shaa Allahu ma AAabadna min doonihi min shayin nahnu wala abaona wala harramna min doonihi min shayin kathalika faAAala allatheena min qablihim fahal AAala alrrusuli illa albalaghu almubeenu

35. Og flergudsdyrkerne sier: «Hvis Allah hadde villet, ville vi ikke ha tilbedt noe som helst utenom Ham, verken vi eller fedrene våre, og ei heller hadde vi erklært noe forbudt uten Han (Hans befaling).» Det samme gjorde de som var før dem. Er da sendebudenes ansvar noe annet enn å videreformidle (Allahs budskap og befalinger) klart?

35. और मुश्रिक लोग कहते हैं: अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो हम उसके सिवा किसी भी चीज़ की परस्तिश न करते, न ही हम और न हमारे बाप-दादा, और न हम उसके (हुक्म के) बिग़ैर किसी चीज़ को हराम क़रार देते, येही कुछ उन लोगों ने (भी) किया था जो इनसे पहले थे, तो क्या रसूलों के ज़िम्मे (अल्लाह के पैग़ाम और अहकाम) वाज़ेह तौर पर पहुंचा देने के अ़लावा भी कुछ है?

৩৫. আর মুশরিকেরা বলে, ‘যদি আল্লাহ্ চাইতেন, তবে আমরা তাঁকে ব্যতীত কোনো কিছুর উপাসনা করতাম না। না আমরা, আর না আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরা; আর না আমরা সে সত্তা (-এঁর নির্দেশ) ব্যতীত কোনো কিছু হারাম করতাম।’ যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল তারা(ও) এমন কিছুই করেছিল। অতঃপর (আল্লাহ্‌র বার্তা ও বিধানাবলী) সুস্পষ্টভাবে পৌঁছে দেয়া ছাড়াও রাসূলগণের কি আর কিছু দায়িত্ব আছে?

36. اور بیشک ہم نے ہر امت میں ایک رسول بھیجا کہ (لوگو) تم اللہ کی عبادت کرو اور طاغوت (یعنی شیطان اور بتوں کی اطاعت و پرستش) سے اجتناب کرو، سو اُن میں بعض وہ ہوئے جنہیں اللہ نے ہدایت فرما دی اور اُن میں بعض وہ ہوئے جن پر گمراہی (ٹھیک) ثابت ہوئی، سو تم لوگ زمین میں سیر و سیاحت کرو اور دیکھو کہ جھٹلانے والوں کا کیا انجام ہواo

36. We raised a messenger in every nation (to preach the message): ‘Worship Allah and keep away from false gods.’ So there were some of them whom Allah guided, and there were others among them who were deserving of error. So, travel through the land and observe how was the end of the deniers!

36. And indeed We raised a Messenger amongst every people (saying): ‘(O people,) worship Allah and keep away from Taghut (i.e., Satan and idol-worship).’ Then some amongst them were those whom Allah guided, and there were others amongst them for whom misguidance proved (appropriate). So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who belied (the truth)!

36. Walaqad baAAathna fee kulli ommatin rasoolan ani oAAbudoo Allaha waijtaniboo alttaghoota faminhum man hada Allahu waminhum man haqqat AAalayhi alddalalatu faseeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almukaththibeena

36. Og sannelig, Vi sendte et sendebud til ethvert samfunn: «(Å, folk!) Tilbe Allah alene og hold dere unna lovovertredelse (tilbedelse og adlydelse av Satan og avguder)!» Noen av dem ble veiledet av Allah, mens villfarelsen ble satt (som korrekt) over andre av dem. Reis rundt på jorden, og se hva enden ble for dem som forsverget (sannheten)!

36. और बेशक हमने हर उम्मत में एक रसूल भेजा कि (लोगो) तुम अल्लाह की इबादत करो और ताग़ूत (यानी शैतान और बुतों की इताअ़तो परस्तिश) से इज्तिनाब करो, सो उनमें बा’ज़ वोह हुए जिन्हें अल्लाह ने हिदायत फरमा दी और उनमें बा’ज वोह हुए जिन पर गुमराही (ठीक) साबित हुई, सो तुम लोग ज़मीन में सैरो सियाहत करो और देखो किझुटलाने वालों का क्या अंजाम हुवा।

৩৬. আর আমরা তো প্রত্যেক উম্মতের মাঝেই একজন রাসূল পাঠিয়েছি, ‘(হে মানুষ!) তোমরা আল্লাহ্‌র ইবাদত করো আর তাগূত (অর্থাৎ শয়তান এবং মূর্তির আনুগত্য ও উপাসনা) থেকে বিরত থাকো।’ সুতরাং তাদের মধ্যে কতিপয় সেসব লোক যাদেরকে আল্লাহ্ হেদায়াত দান করেছেন এবং তাদের মধ্যে অন্যকিছু লোক যাদের জন্যে গোমরাহী (যথাযথভাবে) সাব্যস্ত হয়ে গিয়েছে। সুতরাং তোমরা পৃথিবীতে পরিভ্রমণ করো এবং দেখো যে, মিথ্যাবাদীদের পরিণতি কেমন হয়েছে!

37. اگر آپ ان کے ہدایت پر آجانے کی شدید طلب رکھتے ہیں تو (آپ اپنی طبیعتِ مطہرہ پر اس قدر بوجھ نہ لائیں) بیشک اللہ جسے گمراہ ٹھہرا دیتا ہے اسے ہدایت نہیں فرماتا اور ان کے لئے کوئی مددگار نہیں ہوتاo

37. Though you are eager for their guidance, Allah does not guide those who mislead (others). And they will have no helpers.

37. If you ardently desire them to take the path of guidance then (let not your sanctified disposition be overburdened), for indeed Allah does not guide him whom He holds strayed, nor do they have any helpers.

37. In tahris AAala hudahum fainna Allaha la yahdee man yudillu wama lahum min nasireena

37. Hvis du inderlig ønsker at de skal bli rettledede, så (belast ikke ditt hellige indre vesen). Sannelig, Allah veileder ikke den Han lar fare vill, og ei heller har de noen hjelpere.

37. अगर आप उनके हिदायत पर आ जाने की शदीद तलब रखते हैं तो (आप अपनी तबीअ़ते मुतह्हरा पर इस क़दर बोझ न लाएं) बेशक अल्लाह जिसे गुमराह ठहरा देता है उसे हिदायत नहीं फरमाता और उन के लिए कोई मददगार नहीं होता।

৩৭. যদি আপনি তাদের হেদায়াতের উপর আগমনের জন্যে প্রচন্ড আগ্রহী হন, তবে (আপনি আপনার পবিত্র স্বভাবের উপর এ পরিমাণ বোঝা নিবেন না) নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ যাদেরকে গোমরাহ্ করেন, তাদের হেদায়াত দান করেন না এবং তাদের জন্যে কোনো সাহায্যকারীও নেই।

38. اور یہ لوگ بڑی شدّ و مد سے اللہ کی قَسمیں کھاتے ہیں کہ جو مَر جائے اللہ اسے (دوبارہ) نہیں اٹھائے گا، کیوں نہیں اس کے ذمۂ کرم پر سچا وعدہ ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتےo

38. And they swear by Allah with their most solemn oaths that Allah will not resurrect those who die. Yes, indeed! It is a promise binding upon Him, but most people do not know.

38. And they swear by Allah most earnestly that Allah will not resurrect him who dies. No indeed! The true promise is a bountiful obligation upon Him, but most people do not know.

38. Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihim la yabAAathu Allahu man yamootu bala waAAdan AAalayhi haqqan walakinna akthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona

38. Og de sverger sine mest høytidelige eder ved Allah, at Allah ikke vil gjenopplive den som dør. Jo, sannelig! Dette er et sant løfte pålagt Hans sjenerøsitets forpliktelse, men folk flest vet ikke.

38. और ये लोग बड़ी शद्दो मद से अल्लाह की क़स्में खाते हैं कि जो मर जाए अल्लाह उसे (दोबारा) नहीं उठाएगा, क्यों नहीं उसके ज़िम्मए करम पर सच्चा वादा है लेकिन अक्सर लोग नहीं जानते।

৩৮. আর তারা দৃঢ়তার সাথে আল্লাহ্‌র নামে শপথ করে যে, যে মৃত্যুবরণ করে আল্লাহ্ তাকে (দ্বিতীয়বার) উঠাবেন না। কেন নয়! তাঁর পবিত্রতম দায়িত্বে সত্যিকারের অঙ্গীকার। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক তা জানে না।

39. (مُردوں کا اٹھایا جانا اس لئے ہے) تاکہ ان کے لئے وہ (حق) بات واضح کر دے جس میں وہ لوگ اختلاف کرتے ہیں اور یہ کہ کافر لوگ جان لیں کہ حقیقت میں وہی جھوٹے ہیںo

39. (It is) so that He may clarify to them what they differ about and that the disbelievers may know they were liars.

39. (The dead will be raised up again) so that He makes evident (the truth) wherein they disagree, and that the disbelievers may realize that they alone are in fact liars.

39. Liyubayyina lahumu allathee yakhtalifoona feehi waliyaAAlama allatheena kafaroo annahum kanoo kathibeena

39. (De døde vil bli gjenoppvekket) for at Han skal gjøre (sannheten) evident for dem, som de er uenige om, og for at de vantro skal innse at det er de som er løgnerne.

39. (मुर्दों को उठाया जाना इसलिए है) ताकि उनके लिए वोह (हक़) बात वाज़े़ह कर दे जिसमें वोह लोग इख़्तिलाफ करते हैं और ये कि काफिर लोग जान लें कि हक़ीक़त में वोही झूटे हैं।

৩৯. (মৃতদের উঠানো হবে এ জন্যে যে,) যাতে তিনি তাদের জন্যে সে (সত্য) বিষয় সুস্পষ্ট করে দেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করতো। আর এ জন্যে যে, যাতে কাফেরেরা জানতে পারে যে, প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারাই মিথ্যাবাদী।

40. ہمارا فرمان تو کسی چیز کے لئے صرف اِسی قدر ہوتا ہے کہ جب ہم اُس (کو وجود میں لانے) کا ارادہ کرتے ہیں تو ہم اُسے فرماتے ہیں: ”ہو جا“ پس وہ ہو جاتی ہےo

40. Our word to a thing, when We intend it (to come into existence), is only to say to it: ‘Be!’ and it is.

40. Our command for a thing is but only this much that when We intend (to bring) it (into existence), We say to it: ‘Be,’ and it becomes.

40. Innama qawluna lishayin itha aradnahu an naqoola lahu kun fayakoonu

40. Når Vi beslutter (å bringe) noe (til eksistens), er ordet Vårt kun det at Vi sier til den: «Bli!», så blir det til.

40. हमारा फरमान तो किसी चीज़ के लिए सिर्फ इसी क़दर होता है कि जब हम उस (को वुजूद में लाने) का इरादा करते हैं तो हम उसे फरमा देते हैं: “हो जा” पस वोह हो जाती है।

৪০. আমাদের নির্দেশ তো কোনো কিছুর জন্যে কেবল এমনই হয় যে, যখন আমরা একে (অস্তিত্বে আনয়নের) ইচ্ছা করি, তখন আমরা একে বলি, ‘হও’ তখন তা হয়ে যায়।

41. اور جنہوں نے اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کی اس کے بعد کہ ان پر (طرح طرح کے) ظلم توڑے گئے تو ہم ضرور انہیں دنیا (ہی) میں بہتر ٹھکانا دیں گے، اور آخرت کا اجر تو یقیناً بہت بڑا ہے، کاش! وہ (اس راز کو) جانتے ہوتےo

41. And those who migrated for the sake of Allah after being persecuted, We will indeed settle them in a good place in this world. And surely the reward of the Hereafter is much greater, if only they knew.

41. And those who emigrated after they had been subjected to (different kinds of) torture and brutality, We will certainly provide them with a better abode in this (very) world. And the reward in the Hereafter is certainly greater. Would that they knew (this secret);

41. Waallatheena hajaroo fee Allahi min baAAdi ma thulimoo lanubawwiannahum fee alddunya hasanatan walaajru alakhirati akbaru law kanoo yaAAlamoona

41. Og de som utvandret for Allahs sak etter å ha blitt utsatt for brutal ondskap (av forskjellige sorter), dem vil Vi visselig gi bedre bosted i denne verden, og det hinsidiges belønning er visselig større. Om de bare visste (om denne hemmeligheten),

41. और जिन्होंने अल्लाह की राह में हिजरत की इसके बाद कि उन पर (तरह तरह के) ज़ुल्म तोड़े गए तो हम ज़रूर उन्हें दुन्या (ही) में बेहतर ठिकाना देंगे, और आख़िरत का अज्र तो यक़ीनन बहुत बड़ा है, काश! वोह (इस राज़ को) जानते होते।

৪১. আর যারা আল্লাহ্‌র পথে হিজরত করেছে (বিভিন্ন ধরণের) অত্যাচার ও নিষ্ঠুরতার স্বীকার হবার পর, আমরা অবশ্যই তাদেরকে দুনিয়াতে(ই) উত্তম ঠিকানা দান করবো। আর পরকালের প্রতিদান তো অবশ্যই অনেক বড়। হায়! যদি তারা (এ গোপন রহস্য) জানতো --

42. جن لوگوں نے صبر کیا اور اپنے رب پر توکل کئے رکھتے ہیںo

42. They are the ones who are patient and put their trust in their Lord!

42. Those who remain steadfast and put their trust in their Lord!

42. Allatheena sabaroo waAAala rabbihim yatawakkaloona

42. de som viser tålmod og setter sin lit til Herren sin.

42. जिन लोगों ने सब्र किया और अपने रब पर तवक्कुल किए रखते हैं।

৪২. যারা ধৈর্য ধারণ করে এবং স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের উপর ভরসা রাখে!

43. اور ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بھی مَردوں ہی کو رسول بنا کر بھیجا جن کی طرف ہم وحی بھیجتے تھے سو تم اہلِ ذکر سے پوچھ لیا کرو اگر تمہیں خود (کچھ) معلوم نہ ہوo

43. And We did not send (any messenger) before you, except men to whom We had revealed. Ask the People of the Reminder if you do not know.

43. And before you also, We sent only men as Messengers towards whom We sent Our Revelations. So if you yourselves do not know (anything), then ask the People of remembrance.

43. Wama arsalna min qablika illa rijalan noohee ilayhim faisaloo ahla alththikri in kuntum la taAAlamoona

43. Og før deg sendte Vi også kun menn som sendebud, som Vi åpenbarte for. Spør formaningens folk hvis ikke dere selv kjenner til noe.

43. और हमने आपसे पहले भी मर्दों ही को रसूल बना कर भेजा जिनकी तरफ हम वही भेजते थे सो तुम अह्‌ले ज़िक्र से पूछ लिया करो अगर तुम्हें खु़द (कुछ) मालूम न हो।

৪৩. আর আমরা আপনার পূর্বেও পুরুষদেরকেই রাসূলরূপে প্রেরণ করেছি, যাদের প্রতি আমরা ওহী প্রেরণ করেছি। সুতরাং স্মরণকারীগণ (অর্থাৎ জিকিরকারীগণ)-এঁর    নিকট জিজ্ঞেস করো, যদি তোমরা নিজেরা (কিছু) না জানো।

44. (انہیں بھی) واضح دلائل اور کتابوں کے ساتھ (بھیجا تھا)، اور (اے نبیِ مکرّم!) ہم نے آپ کی طرف ذکرِ عظیم (قرآن) نازل فرمایا ہے تاکہ آپ لوگوں کے لئے وہ (پیغام اور احکام) خوب واضح کر دیں جو ان کی طرف اتارے گئے ہیں اور تاکہ وہ غور و فکر کریںo

44. (We sent them) with clear proofs and Scriptures. And (Esteemed Prophet,) We have revealed the Reminder (i.e. the Qur’an) to you so that you may clearly explain to the people what has been sent down to them; perhaps they may reflect.

44. (They too were sent) with clear proofs and the Books. And, (O Glorious Messenger,) We have revealed to you the Glorious Reminder (the Qur’an) so that you may explain clearly to people (the message and the commandments) that have been sent down to them and that they may meditate.

44. Bialbayyinati waalzzuburi waanzalna ilayka alththikra litubayyina lilnnasi ma nuzzila ilayhim walaAAallahum yatafakkaroona

44. (De tidligere sendebudene sendte Vi også) med innlysende bevis og skrifter. Og (kjære ærverdige Profet ﷺ!), Vi har åpenbart for deg den praktfulle formaningen (Koranen), slik at du skal klargjøre for menneskene det (budskap og befalinger) som er blitt nedsendt til dem, slik at de må fundere dypt.

44. (उन्हें भी) वाज़ेह दलाइल और किताबों के साथ (भेजा था), और (ऐ नबिय्ये मुकर्रम!) हमने आपकी तरफ ज़िक्रे अ़ज़ीम (क़ुरआन) नाज़िल फरमाया है ताकि आप लोगों के लिए वोह (पैग़ाम और अह्‌काम) ख़ूब वाजे़ह कर दें जो उनकी तरफ उतारे गए हैं और ताकि वोह ग़ौरो फिक्र करें।

৪৪. (তাদেরকেও) সুস্পষ্ট দলিল ও কিতাব সহকারে ( (প্রেরণ করা হয়েছিল)। আর (হে সম্মানিত নবী!) আমরা আপনার নিকট মহাস্মারক (কুরআন) অবতীর্ণ করেছি যাতে আপনি মানুষের নিকট সেসব (বার্তা ও বিধান) সুস্পষ্ট করে দেন, যা তাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করা হয়েছে এবং যাতে তারা চিন্তা-ভাবনা করে।

45. کیا وہ بُرے مکر و فریب کرنے والے لوگ اس بات سے بے خوف ہو گئے ہیں کہ اللہ انہیں زمین میں دھنسا دے یا (کسی) ایسی جگہ سے ان پر عذاب بھیج دے جس کا انہیں کوئی خیال بھی نہ ہوo

45. Do those who have plotted evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them, or the punishment will not overtake them (suddenly) from where they do not perceive?

45. Have these evil and deceitful people gone free of the fear that Allah may sink them into the earth, or may send them torment from (any) quarter that is beyond their imagination?

45. Afaamina allatheena makaroo alssayyiati an yakhsifa Allahu bihimu alarda aw yatiyahumu alAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona

45. Har disse som bedriver slemme renkespill, blitt trygt forvisset om at Allah ikke vil senke dem i jorden eller sende over dem pine fra et slikt hold som de ikke kan forestille seg engang?

45. क्या वोह बुरे मक्रो फरेब करने वाले लोग इस बात से बेख़ौफ हो गए हैं कि अल्लाह उन्हें ज़मीन में धंसा दे या (किसी) ऐसी जगह से उन पर अ़ज़ाब भेज दे जिसका उन्हें कोई ख़याल भी न हो।

৪৫. সেসব নিকৃষ্ট চক্রান্ত ও প্রতারণাকারীরা কি এ বিষয় থেকে নিরাপদ হয়ে গিয়েছে যে, আল্লাহ্ তাদেরকে ভুপৃষ্ঠে ধ্বসিয়ে দেবেন অথবা এমন (কোনো) স্থান  থেকে তাদের উপর শাস্তি পাঠিয়ে দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তাদের কোনো ধারণাও নেই?

46. یا ان کی نقل و حرکت (سفر اور شغلِ تجارت) کے دوران ہی انہیں پکڑ لے سو وہ اللہ کو عاجز نہیں کر سکتےo

46. Or that He will not seize them during their journeys, then they will not be able to escape?

46. Or He may seize them during their movements (travelling and business trips). So, they cannot hinder Allah.

46. Aw yakhuthahum fee taqallubihim fama hum bimuAAjizeena

46. Eller at Han ikke vil ta dem fatt under bevegelsene (reisene og handelen) deres? De kan ikke forhindre Allah (Allahs vilje).

46. या उनकी नक़्लो हरकत (सफर और शुग़्‌ले तिजारत) के दौरान ही उन्हें पकड़ ले सो वोह अल्लाह को आजिज़ नहीं कर सकते।

৪৬. অথবা তাদের স্থানান্তর ও চলাফেরায় (অর্থাৎ ভ্রমণ ও বাণিজ্যিক সফরেই) তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করবেন। সুতরাং তারা আল্লাহ্কে প্রতিহত করতে পারবে না।

47. یا انہیں ان کے خوف زدہ ہونے پر پکڑ لے، تو بیشک تمہارا رب بڑا شفیق نہایت مہربان ہےo

47. Or that He will not seize them with gradual attrition (striking them with fear)? Indeed, your Lord is Most-Kind, All-Merciful.

47. Or He may seize them for being struck with fear. Indeed, your Lord is Most Compassionate, Ever-Merciful.

47. Aw yakhuthahum AAala takhawwufin fainna rabbakum laraoofun raheemun

47. Eller at Han ikke vil ta dem fatt for deres skrekk? Sannelig, Herren deres er svært hjertevarm, evig nåderik.

47. या उन्हें उनके ख़ौफ़ ज़दा होने पर पकड़ ले, तो बेशक तुम्हारा रब बड़ा शफीक़ निहायत मेहरबान है।

৪৭. অথবা তাদেরকে ভীতসন্ত্রস্ত অবস্থায় পাকড়াও করবেন। বস্তুত আপনার প্রতিপালক বড়ই মমতাবান, পরম দয়ালু।

48. کیا انہوں نے ان (سایہ دار) چیزوں کی طرف نہیں دیکھا جو اللہ نے پیدا فرمائی ہیں (کہ) ان کے سائے دائیں اور بائیں اَطراف سے اللہ کے لئے سجدہ کرتے ہوئے پھرتے رہتے ہیں اور وہ (درحقیقت) طاعت و عاجزی کا اظہار کرتے ہیںo

48. Have they not considered that whatever Allah has created casts its shadow to the right and the left, prostrating to Allah in utter humility?

48. Have they not seen those (shady) objects that Allah has created; their shadows keep crawling on the right and the left sides, prostrating themselves before Allah? And, (in fact, in this way) they display humbleness and obedience.

48. Awa lam yaraw ila ma khalaqa Allahu min shayin yatafayyao thilaluhu AAani alyameeni waalshshamaili sujjadan lillahi wahum dakhiroona

48. Har de ikke sett på de (skyggefulle) tingene som Allah har skapt, at skyggene deres kneler med ansiktet ned for Allah ved å kaste seg til høyre og venstre? Og (i virkeligheten) viser de underkastelse og lydighet.

48. क्या उन्होंने उन (सायादार) चीज़ों की तरफ नहीं देखा जो अल्लाह ने पैदा फरमाई हैं (कि) उनके साए दाएं और बाएं अतराफ से अल्लाह के लिए सज्दा करते हए फिरते रहते हैं और वोह (दर हक़ीक़त) ताअ़तो आजिज़ी का इज़हार करते हैं।

৪৮. তারা কি এমন (ছায়াদানকারী) বস্তুর দিকে লক্ষ্য করে না, যা আল্লাহ্ সৃষ্টি করেছেন (যে,) এর ছায়া ডানে ও বামে আল্লাহ্‌র জন্যে সেজদাবনত অবস্থায় ঢলে পড়ে? আর তারা (প্রকৃতপক্ষে) আনুগত্য ও বিনয় প্রকাশ করে।

49. اور جو کچھ آسمانوں میں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے جملہ جاندار اور فرشتے، اللہ (ہی) کو سجدہ کرتے ہیں اور وہ (ذرا بھی) غرور و تکبر نہیں کرتےo

49. To Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth from the living creatures, as do the angels, who are not arrogant.

49. And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, all living beings and angels prostrate themselves before Allah (alone), and are not (a bit) proud and arrogant.

49. Walillahi yasjudu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi min dabbatin waalmalaikatu wahum la yastakbiroona

49. Og alt som i himlene og på jorden er, av det levende, og englene, kneler med ansiktet ned for Allah, og de viser ikke hovmod (i det hele tatt).

49. और जो कुछ आस्मानों में और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है जुम्ला जानदार और फरिश्ते, अल्लाह (ही) को सज्दा करते हैं और वोह (ज़रा भी) ग़ुरूरो तकब्बुर नहीं करते।

৪৯. আর যা কিছু আকাশমন্ডলীতে এবং যা কিছু পৃথিবীতে, সমস্ত প্রাণী ও ফেরেস্তা, আল্লাহ্কে(ই) সেজদা করে, আর তারা (সামান্যতমও) ঔদ্ধত্য ও অহঙ্কার করে না।

50. وہ اپنے رب سے جو ان کے اوپر ہے ڈرتے رہتے ہیں اور جو حکم انہیں دیا جاتا ہے (اسے) بجا لاتے ہیںo

50. They fear their Lord above them and do what they are commanded.

50. They keep fearing their Lord, Who is high above them, and obey whatever command they are given.

50. Yakhafoona rabbahum min fawqihim wayafAAaloona ma yumaroona

50. De er fryktende for Herren sin, som er høyt over dem, og de utfører det de blir befalt.

50. वोह अपने रब से जो उनके ऊपर है डरते रहते हैं और जो हुक्म उन्हें दिया जाता है (उसे) बजा लाते हैं।

৫০. তারা তাদের প্রতিপালককে, যিনি তাদের উপরে রয়েছেন, ভয় করতে থাকে। আর যে নির্দেশ তাদেরকে দেয়া হয় (তা) পালন করে।

51. اور اللہ نے فرمایا ہے: تم دو معبود مت بناؤ، بیشک وہی (اللہ) معبودِ یکتا ہے، اور تم مجھ ہی سے ڈرتے رہوo

51. And Allah has said: ‘Do not take two gods. Truly, He is only One God. So you should be afraid of Me alone.’

51. And Allah has ordained: ‘Do not take two gods; assuredly, He (Allah) alone is the only One God. So fear Me alone persistently.’

51. Waqala Allahu la tattakhithoo ilahayni ithnayni innama huwa ilahun wahidun faiyyaya fairhabooni

51. Og Allah har sagt: «Hold ikke to som tilbedelsesverdige! Sannelig, Han alene er den ene tilbedelsesverdige Herren! Og vær Meg fryktende!»

51. और अल्लाह ने फरमाया है: तुम दो माबूद मत बनाओ, बेशक वोही (अल्लाह) माबूदे यक्ता है, और तुम मुझ ही से डरते रहो।

৫১. আর আল্লাহ্ বলেন, ‘তোমরা দুই ইলাহ্ বানিও না। নিশ্চয়ই তিনিই (আল্লাহ্,) একক ইলাহ্। আর তোমরা আমাকেই ভয় করতে থাকো।’

52. اور جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے (سب) اسی کا ہے اور (سب کے لئے) اسی کی فرمانبرداری واجب ہے۔ تو کیا تم غیر اَز خدا (کسی) سے ڈرتے ہوo

52. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And to Him belongs the everlasting devotion. Will you then be conscious of something other than Allah?

52. And whatever is in the heavens and the earth (all) belongs to Him alone, and obedience to Him alone is obligatory (for all). Do you then fear (anyone) other than Allah?

52. Walahu ma fee alssamawati waalardi walahu alddeenu wasiban afaghayra Allahi tattaqoona

52. Og Hans er alt som i himlene og på jorden er, og alle er pålagt å være Ham lydig. Frykter dere noen andre enn Allah?

52. और जो कुछ आस्मानों और ज़मीन में है (सब) उसी का है और (सब के लिए) उसी की फरमांबरदारी वाजिब है। तो क्या तुम गै़र अज़ खु़दा (किसी) से डरते हो।

৫২. আর যা কিছু আকাশমন্ডলীতে এবং পৃথিবীতে রয়েছে (সবকিছু) তাঁরই। আর (সকলের জন্যে) তাঁরই আনুগত্য  বাধ্যতামূলক। কাজেই তোমরা কি আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত (কাউকে) ভয় করো?

53. اور تمہیں جو نعمت بھی حاصل ہے سو وہ اللہ ہی کی جانب سے ہے، پھر جب تمہیں تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو تم اسی کے آگے گریہ و زاری کرتے ہوo

53. And whatever blessing you possess comes from Allah. Then, whenever hardship afflicts you, to Him (alone), you cry (for help).

53. And whatever blessing you have been provided with is from Allah alone. Then, when some distress afflicts you, you wail and weep only before Him.

53. Wama bikum min niAAmatin famina Allahi thumma itha massakumu alddurru failayhi tajaroona

53. Og hvilken velsignelse dere enn har fått, er den fra Allah alene. Når dere blir rammet av lidelsen, så trygler dere overfor Ham.

53. और तुम्हें जो नेअ़मत भी हासिल है सो वोह अल्लाह ही की जानिब से है, फिर जब तुम्हें तक्लीफ पहुंचती है तो तुम उसी के आगे गिर्यओ ज़ारी करते हो।

৫৩. আর তোমাদের নিকট যে নিয়ামতই রয়েছে, তা আল্লাহ্‌রই নিকট থেকে। অতঃপর যখন তোমরা কষ্টে পতিত হও, তখন তোমরা তাঁরই সমীপে বিলাপ ও আহাজারি করতে থাকো।

54. پھر جب اللہ اس تکلیف کو تم سے دور فرما دیتا ہے تو تم میں سے ایک گروہ اس وقت اپنے رب سے شرک کرنے لگتا ہےo

54. Yet, when He removes the hardship from you, a group of you attribute partners to your Lord,

54. Then, when Allah removes that distress from you, a party from amongst you starts setting up partners with their Lord;

54. Thumma itha kashafa alddurra AAankum itha fareequn minkum birabbihim yushrikoona

54. Når Allah deretter fjerner den lidelsen fra dere, begynner en gruppe blant dere å gi Herren sin likestilte,

54. फिर जब अल्लाह उस तक्लीफ को तुमसे दूर फरमा देता है तो तुम में से एक गिरोह उस वक़्त अपने रब से शिर्क करने लगता है।

৫৪. অতঃপর যখন আল্লাহ্ তোমাদের থেকে এ কষ্ট দূরীভুত করে দেন, তোমাদের একদল সে সময় স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের সাথে অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করতে শুরু করে দেয়।

55. (یہ کفر و شرک اس لئے) تاکہ وہ ان (نعمتوں) کی ناشکری کریں جو ہم نے انہیں عطا کر رکھی ہیں، پس (اے مشرکو! چند روزہ) فائدہ اٹھا لو پھر تم عنقریب (اپنے انجام کو) جان لو گےo

55. showing ingratitude for what We have given them. So enjoy for a while, for you will soon know.

55. (This disbelief and polytheism is perpetrated) so that they may show ingratitude for those (blessings) which We have bestowed upon them. So, (O polytheists,) take this (a few days’) benefit, then soon will you know (your end).

55. Liyakfuroo bima ataynahum fatamattaAAoo fasawfa taAAlamoona

55. (denne vantro og dette flerguderiet er) for å vise utakknemlighet for de (velsignelsene) som Vi har tildelt dem. (Å, dere flergudsdyrkere!) Dra nytte (i noen få dager), snart vil dere få vite (hva enden deres blir).

55. (ये कुफ्रो शिर्क इसलिए) ताकि वोह उन (नेअ़मतों) की नाशुक्री करें जो हमने उन्हें अ़ता कर रखी हैं, पस (ऐ मुश्रिको! चन्द रोज़ा) फाइदा उठा लो फिर तुम अ़नक़रीब (अपने अंजाम को) जान लोगे।

৫৫. (এ কুফর ও শিরক এ জন্যে যে,) যাতে তারা এমন (নিয়ামতের) অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে, যা আমরা তাদেরকে দান করে রেখেছি। অতঃপর (হে মুশরিকেরা! কিছু দিন) উপভোগ করে নাও, অতএব তোমরা অচিরেই (নিজেদের পরিণতি) জানবে।

56. اور یہ ان (بتوں) کے لئے جن (کی حقیقت) کو وہ خود بھی نہیں جانتے اس رزق میں سے حصہ مقرر کرتے ہیں جو ہم نے انہیں عطا کر رکھا ہے۔ اللہ کی قسم! تم سے اس بہتان کی نسبت ضرور پوچھ گچھ کی جائے گی جو تم باندھا کرتے ہوo

56. And they dedicate to those (idols) whom they do not know a share of what We have provided them. By Allah! You will indeed be questioned about (the lies) you used to fabricate.

56. And they ascribe a portion of the provisions which We have given them to those (idols) whose (reality) even they themselves do not know. By Allah, you will indeed be asked about what you fabricate.

56. WayajAAaloona lima la yaAAlamoona naseeban mimma razaqnahum taAllahi latusalunna AAamma kuntum taftaroona

56. Og de setter av en bestemt andel av den forsyningen Vi har gitt dem for dem (avgudene), som de ikke engang selv kjenner (sannheten) til. Ved Allah, dere vil visselig bli forhørt om dette falske som dere har diktet opp.

56. और ये उन (बुतों) के लिए जिन (की हक़ीक़त) को वोह ख़ुद भी नहीं जानते उस रिज़्क में से हिस्सा मुक़र्रर करते है जो हमने उन्हें अ़ता कर रखा हैं। अल्लाह की क़सम! तुमसे उस बोह्‌तान की निस्बत ज़रूर पूछगछ की जाएगी जो तुम बांधा करते हो।

৫৬. আর যেসব (মূর্তির প্রকৃত অবস্থা) তারা নিজেরাও জানে না সে সবের জন্যে রিযিক থেকে তারা অংশ নির্ধারণ করে রাখে, যা আমরা তাদেরকে দান করেছি। আল্লাহ্‌র শপথ! তোমাদেরকে এ মিথ্যা অপবাদের বিষয়ে অবশ্যই জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে, যা তোমরা উদ্ভাবন করে থাকো।

57. اور یہ (کفار و مشرکین) اللہ کے لئے بیٹیاں مقرر کرتے ہیں وہ (اس سے) پاک ہے اور اپنے لئے وہ کچھ (یعنی بیٹے) جن کی وہ خواہش کرتے ہیںo

57. And they attribute daughters to Allah—Glory be to Him—while for themselves is what they desire (i.e. sons).

57. And they (the disbelievers and polytheists) ascribe daughters to Allah—Glory be to Him (He is far above that)!—and for themselves they prefer what they desire (i.e., sons).

57. WayajAAaloona lillahi albanati subhanahu walahum ma yashtahoona

57. Og disse (vantro og flergudsdyrkerne) tilskriver Allah døtre, helligere er Han (enn at Han skal avle barn), mens for seg selv det de foretrekker (sønner).

57. और ये (कुफ्फारो मुश्रिकीन) अल्लाह के लिए बेटियां मुक़र्रर करते हैं वोह (इससे) पाक है और अपने लिए वोह कुछ (यानी बेटे) जिनकी वोह ख़्वाहिश करते हैं।

৫৭. আর এরা (এ কাফের ও মুশরিকেরা) আল্লাহ্‌র জন্যে কন্যা সন্তান নির্ধারণ করে, তিনি (এ থেকে) পূতঃপবিত্র। আর তাদের নিজেদের জন্যে এমন কিছু রয়েছে (অর্থাৎ পুত্র) যার কামনা তারা করে।

58. اور جب ان میں سے کسی کو لڑکی (کی پیدائش) کی خبر سنائی جاتی ہے تو اس کا چہرہ سیاہ ہو جاتا ہے اور وہ غصہ سے بھر جاتا ہےo

58. And whenever one of them is given the news of (the birth of) a baby girl, his face darkens as he suppresses his rage.

58. And when the news (of the birth) of a daughter is disclosed to any of them, his face turns dark and he gets pent up with anger.

58. Waitha bushshira ahaduhum bialontha thalla wajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun

58. Og når noen av dem får nyheten om et pikebarn (pikebarns fødsel), da blir ansiktet hans formørket og fylles han med raseri.

58. और जब उनमें से किसी को लड़की (की पैदाइश) की ख़बर सुनाई जाती है तो उसका चेहरा सियाह हो जाता है और वोह ग़ुस्से से भर जाता है।

৫৮. আর যখন তাদের কাউকে কন্যা সন্তানের (জন্মের) সুসংবাদ দেয়া হয়, তখন তার চেহারা কালো হয়ে যায় এবং সে ক্রোধে ক্লিষ্ট হয়।

59. وہ لوگوں سے چُھپا پھرتا ہے (بزعمِ خویش) اس بری خبر کی وجہ سے جو اسے سنائی گئی ہے، (اب یہ سوچنے لگتا ہے کہ) آیا اسے ذلت و رسوائی کے ساتھ (زندہ) رکھے یا اسے مٹی میں دبا دے (یعنی زندہ درگور کر دے)، خبردار! کتنا برا فیصلہ ہے جو وہ کرتے ہیںo

59. He hides from the people because of the evil of the news he has been given. Shall he keep it in disgrace or bury it (alive) in the dust? Indeed, evil is the judgement they make!

59. He seeks to hide himself from people due to the (presumed) bad news that is given to him. (He now gets down to thinking) whether he should keep her (alive) despite humiliation and disgrace, or bury her (alive) in the earth. See! How wicked is the decision that they make!

59. Yatawara mina alqawmi min sooi ma bushshira bihi ayumsikuhu AAala hoonin am yadussuhu fee altturabi ala saa ma yahkumoona

59. Han gjemmer seg for folk på grunn av den dårlige nyheten han har fått. (Nå tenker han:) Skal han beholde henne (levende) i vanære eller begrave henne i sanden? Ta dere i akt! Hvor elendig avgjørelsen deres er!

59. वोह लोगों से छुपा फिरता है (बज़ो’मे ख़ीश) उस बुरी ख़बर की वजह से जो उसे सुनाई गई है, (अब ये सोचने लगता है कि) आया उसे ज़िल्लतो रुस्वाई के साथ (ज़िन्दा) रखे या उसे मिट्टी में दबा दे (यानी ज़िन्दा दर गोर कर दे), ख़बरदार! कितना बुरा फैसला है जो वोह करते हैं।

৫৯. সে মানুষজন থেকে আত্মগোপন করে বেড়ায় (নিজের ধারণায়) এমন মন্দ সংবাদের কারণে, যা তাকে প্রদান করা হয়েছে। (এখন চিন্তা করে) সে একে অপমান ও অপদস্ত করে (বাঁচিয়ে) রাখবে নাকি একে মাটিতে পুঁতে ফেলবে (অর্থাৎ জীবন্ত কবর দিয়ে দেবে)। সাবধান! কতোই না নিকৃষ্ট ফায়সালা যা সে করছে!

60. ان لوگوں کی جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے (یہ) نہایت بری صفت ہے، اور بلند تر صفت اللہ ہی کی ہے اور وہ غالب حکمت والا ہےo

60. For those who do not believe in the Hereafter, there is an evil example. And the finest exalted example belongs only to Allah. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

60. (This) is the most evil attribute of those who do not believe in the Hereafter and the most exalted attribute is only Allah’s. And He is Almighty, Most Wise.

60. Lillatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati mathalu alssawi walillahi almathalu alaAAla wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu

60. (Dette er) den verste egenskapen til dem som ikke tror på det hinsidige, og Allah tilhører den aller mest høytstående egenskapen, og Han er den Allmektige, den mest Vise.

60. उन लोगों की जो आख़िरत पर ईमान नहीं रखते (ये) निहायत बुरी सिफत है, और बलन्द तर सिफत अल्लाह ही की है और वोह ग़ालिब हिक्मत वाला है।

৬০. যারা পরকালে ঈমান রাখে না (এটি) তাদের অতিশয় মন্দ বৈশিষ্ট্য, এবং সমুন্নত বৈশিষ্ট্য আল্লাহ্‌রই। আর তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাবান।

61. اور اگر اللہ لوگوں کو ان کے ظلم کے عوض (فوراً) پکڑ لیا کرتا تو اس (زمین) پر کسی جاندار کو نہ چھوڑتا لیکن وہ انہیں مقررہ میعاد تک مہلت دیتا ہے، پھر جب ان کا مقرر وقت آپہنچتا ہے تو وہ نہ ایک گھڑی پیچھے ہو سکتے ہیں اور نہ آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیںo

61. If Allah were to punish people (immediately) for their wrongdoing, He would not leave a single moving creature on the earth, but He would reprieve them till an appointed time. So, when their time arrives, they cannot defer (it) by a moment, nor can they advance (it).

61. And had Allah seized people (instantly) for their injustice, He would not have left any living being (on the surface of the earth). But He grants them respite till an appointed term. When their fixed time arrives, then they can neither advance, nor hold it back for a single moment.

61. Walaw yuakhithu Allahu alnnasa bithulmihim ma taraka AAalayha min dabbatin walakin yuakhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman faitha jaa ajaluhum la yastakhiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona

61. Og hvis Allah skulle ta fatt menneskene (med det samme) for deres ondskap, da ville det ikke ha vært igjen et eneste levende vesen (på jorden). Men Han gir dem nådetid til en fastsatt tidsfrist, og når deres fastsatte tid er inne, kan de ikke forsinke den et eneste øyeblikk og ei heller forsere den.

61. और अगर अल्लाह लोगों को उनके ज़ुल्म के एवज़ (फौरन) पकड़ लिया करता तो इस (ज़मीन) पर किसी जानदार को न छोड़ता लेकिन वोह उन्हें मुक़र्ररा मीआद तक मोह्‌लत देता है, फिर जब उनका मुक़र्रर वक़्त आ पहुंचता है तो वोह न एक घड़ी पीछे हो सकते हैं और न आगे बढ़ सकते हैं।

৬১. আর যদি আল্লাহ্ মানুষকে তাদের সীমালঙ্ঘনের জন্যে (তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে) পাকড়াও করতেন, তবে (এ ভুপৃষ্ঠ)-এর উপর বিচরণশীল কোনো প্রাণীকেই ছেড়ে দিতেন না। কিন্তু তিনি তাদেরকে নির্ধারিত সময় পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দেন। অতঃপর যখন তাদের নির্ধারিত সময় এসে যায়, তখন তারা না এক মুহূর্ত পশ্চাতে থাকতে পারে আর না অগ্রসর হতে পারে।

62. اور وہ اللہ کے لئے وہ کچھ مقرر کرتے ہیں جو (اپنے لئے) ناپسند کرتے ہیں اور ان کی زبانیں جھوٹ بولتی ہیں کہ ان کے لئے بھلائی ہے، (ہرگز نہیں!) حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ان کے لئے دوزخ ہے اور یہ (دوزخ میں) سب سے پہلے بھیجے جائیں گے (اور اس میں ہمیشہ کے لئے چھوڑ دیئے جائیں گے)o

62. And they attribute to Allah what they dislike (for themselves), and their tongues utter the lie that the best (things) belong to them. Undoubtedly, for them shall be the Fire, and they will be hastened into it (to be abandoned therein).

62. And they attribute to Allah what they loathe (for themselves), and their tongues utter falsehood that there is good for them. (No indeed!) The truth is that for them there is Hell, and they will be the first ones to be sent (into Hell where they shall be left forever).

62. WayajAAaloona lillahi ma yakrahoona watasifu alsinatuhumu alkathiba anna lahumu alhusna la jarama anna lahumu alnnara waannahum mufratoona

62. Og de tilskriver Allah det de misliker (for seg selv), og tungene deres taler løgn om at det gode venter dem. (Aldri!) Sannheten er at det venter dem helvete, og at de vil bli sendt inn aller først (i helvete, og der vil de bli forlatt i all evighet).

62. और वोह अल्लाह के लिए वोह कुछ मुक़र्रर करते हैं जो (अपने लिए) नापसन्द करते हैं और उनकी जु़बानें झूट बोलती हैं कि उनके लिए भलाई है, (हर्गिज़ नहीं) हक़ीक़त ये है कि उनके लिए दोज़ख़ है और ये (दोज़ख़ में) सबसे पहले भेजे जाएंगे (और उसमें हमेशा के लिए छोड़ दिए जाएंगे) ।

৬২. আর তারা আল্লাহ্‌র জন্যে এমন কিছু নির্ধারণ করে, যা (নিজেদের জন্যে) অপছন্দ করে। আর তাদের জিহ্বা মিথ্যা দাবী করে যে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কল্যাণ। (কখনোই নয়!) প্রকৃত সত্য এ যে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নাম। আর তাদেরকে (জাহান্নামে) সর্বাগ্রে প্রেরণ করা হবে (এবং তাতে তাদেরকে চিরদিনের জন্যে ছেড়ে দেয়া হবে)।

63. اللہ کی قسم! یقیناً ہم نے آپ سے پہلے (بھی بہت سی) امتوں کی طرف رسول بھیجے تو شیطان نے ان (امتوں) کے لئے ان کے (برے) اعمال آراستہ و خوش نما کر دکھائے، سو وہی (شیطان) آج ان کا دوست ہے اور ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہےo

63. By Allah! We have certainly sent (messengers) to (many) nations before you. But Satan made their deeds fair-seeming to them. So, he is their guardian today. And there is a painful punishment for them.

63. By Allah! We certainly sent Messengers to (many) communities before you (also). Then Satan made their (evil) deeds look attractive and pleasing to them. So the same (Satan) is Today their friend. And for them there is painful punishment.

63. TaAllahi laqad arsalna ila omamin min qablika fazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu aAAmalahum fahuwa waliyyuhumu alyawma walahum AAathabun aleemun

63. Ved Allah! Sannelig, Vi sendte sendebud til (mange) samfunn før deg, og Satan gjorde deres (umoralske) handlinger innbydende og behagelige for dem; i dag er han (Satan) vennen deres, og dem venter det en smertelig pine.

63. अल्लाह की क़सम! यक़ीनन हमने आपसे पहले (भी बहुत सी) उम्मतों की तरफ रसूल भेजे तो शैतान ने उन (उम्मतों) के लिए उनके (बुरे) आमाल आरास्तआ ख़ुशनुमा कर दिखाए, सो वोही (शैतान) आज उनका दोस्त है और उनके लिए दर्दनाक अ़ज़ाब है।

৬৩. আল্লাহ্‌র শপথ! অবশ্যই আমরা আপনার পূর্বেও (বহু) জাতির নিকট রাসূল প্রেরণ করেছিলাম, তখন শয়তান তাদের জন্যে তাদের (মন্দ) কর্মগুলো সুসজ্জিত ও সুশোভিত করে দেখিয়েছিল। সুতরাং সেই (শয়তান) আজ তাদের বন্ধু এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।

64. اور ہم نے آپ کی طرف کتاب نہیں اتاری مگر اس لئے کہ آپ ان پر وہ (اُمور) واضح کر دیں جن میں وہ اختلاف کرتے ہیں اور (اس لئے کہ یہ کتاب) ہدایت اور رحمت ہے اس قوم کے لئے جو ایمان لے آئی ہےo

64. And We did not reveal the Book to you, except that you might clarify to them what they differ on, and as a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.

64. And We have not revealed to you the Book except that you may explain clearly to them those (matters) in which they differ; and (also that this Book) is guidance and mercy for the people that have embraced faith.

64. Wama anzalna AAalayka alkitaba illa litubayyina lahumu allathee ikhtalafoo feehi wahudan warahmatan liqawmin yuminoona

64. Og Vi har åpenbart skriften for deg for at du skal gjøre det (de sakene) innlysende for dem, som de er uenige om, og (også for at denne skriften er) veiledning og nåde for det folk som har antatt troen.

64. और हमने आपकी तरफ किताब नहीं उतारी मगर इसलिए कि आप उन पर वोह (उमूर) वाज़ेह कर दें जिनमें वोह इख़्तिलाफ करते हैं और (इसलिए कि ये किताब) हिदायत और रहमत है उस क़ौम के लिए जो ईमान ले आई है।

৬৪. আর আমরা তো আপনার প্রতি এ জন্যেই কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করেছি যে, আপনি তাদের নিকট সেসব (বিষয়) সুস্পষ্ট করবেন যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করছে। আর (এ জন্যে যে, এ কিতাব) বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে হেদায়াত এবং রহমত।

65. اور اللہ نے آسمان کی جانب سے پانی اتارا اور اس کے ذریعہ زمین کو اس کے مردہ (یعنی بنجر) ہونے کے بعد زندہ (یعنی سرسبز و شاداب) کر دیا۔ بیشک اس میں (نصیحت) سننے والوں کے لئے نشانی ہےo

65. Allah sends down water from the sky, and revives the earth with it after its death. There is indeed a sign in that for people who listen.

65. And Allah pours down water from the sky, and by means of that brings the earth to life (i.e., makes it fertile and green) after it has become dead (i.e., barren and infertile). Surely, there is in it a sign for those who give ear (to advice).

65. WaAllahu anzala mina alssamai maan faahya bihi alarda baAAda mawtiha inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yasmaAAoona

65. Og Allah sendte ned vann fra himmelen, og ved det vekket Han jorden til live (blomstrende og frodig) etter dens død (ufruktbarhet). Sannelig, i dette er det tegn for det folk som lytter etter (formaningen).

65. और अल्लाह ने आस्मान की जानिब से पानी उतारा और उसके ज़रीए ज़मीन को उसके मुर्दा (यानी बंजर) होने के बाद ज़िन्दा (यानी सर सब्ज़ो शादाब) कर दिया। बेशक इसमें (नसीहत) सुनने वालों के लिए निशानी है।

৬৫. আর আল্লাহ্ আসমান থেকে বারি বর্ষণ করেন এবং তা দ্বারা তিনি ভুমিকে এর মৃতবৎ (অর্থাৎ বিরান ও অনুর্বর) অবস্থার পর জীবিত (অর্থাৎ উর্বর ও সবুজ-শ্যামল) করেন। নিশ্চয়ই এতে (উপদেশ) শ্রবণকারীদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন।

66. اور بیشک تمہارے لئے مویشیوں میں (بھی) مقامِ غور ہے، ہم ان کے جسموں کے اندر کی اس چیز سے جو آنتوں کے (بعض) مشمولات اور خون کے اختلاط سے (وجود میں آتی ہے) خالص دودھ نکال کر تمہیں پلاتے ہیں (جو) پینے والوں کے لئے فرحت بخش ہوتا ہےo

66. And surely in the cattle, there is a lesson for you: We give you to drink from what is in their bellies—produced through compounding some intestinal content and blood—pure milk that is pleasant and nourishing for the drinkers.

66. And indeed in the cattle (too) there is a point for you to ponder. We provide you with pure milk to drink brought forth from that substance of their bellies (which is produced by) compounding (certain) intestinal contents and blood and which freshens up those who drink it.

66. Wainna lakum fee alanAAami laAAibratan nusqeekum mimma fee butoonihi min bayni farthin wadamin labanan khalisan saighan lilshsharibeena

66. Og sannelig, i kveget har dere en dyp grunn til ettertanke, Vi gir dere ren melk å drikke dannet av det de har i sin buk, (som blir produsert av) blanding av tarmens innhold og blod, som frisker opp dem som drikker den.

66. और बेशक तुम्हारे लिए मवेशियों में (भी) मक़ामे ग़ौर है, हम उनके जिस्मों के अंदर की उस चीज़ से जो आंतों के (बा’ज़) मश्मूलात और ख़ून के इख़्तेलात से (वुजूद में आती है) ख़ालिस दूध निकाल कर तुम्हें पिलाते हैं (जो) पीने वालों के लिए फरहत बख़्श होता है।

৬৬. আর নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের জন্যে গবাদিপশুতে(ও) চিন্তার বিষয় রয়েছে। আমরা এদের উদরের ভেতরে অন্ত্রের অভ্যন্তরভাগের (কিছু) এবং রক্তের মিশ্রণ থেকে (সৃষ্টি হওয়া) খাটি দুগ্ধ নির্গত করে তোমাদেরকে পান করাই; (যা) পানকারীদের জন্যে উপাদেয়।

67. اور کھجور اور انگور کے پھلوں سے تم شکّر اور (دیگر) عمدہ غذائیں بناتے ہو، بیشک اس میں اہلِ عقل کے لئے نشانی ہےo

67. And from the fruits of date palms and grapes, you derive sweet juice (or vinegar) and other pleasant foods. There is indeed a sign in that for people who understand.

67. And from the fruits of date-palms and grapes, you obtain sugar and (other) wholesome foods. Indeed, there is a sign in it for those who have reason.

67. Wamin thamarati alnnakheeli waalaAAnabi tattakhithoona minhu sakaran warizqan hasanan inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yaAAqiloona

67. Og av daddelpalmens og druers frukt lager dere sukker og (annen) god mat. Sannelig, i dette er det tegn for det folk som har fornuft.

67. और खजूर और अंगूर के फलों से तुम शक्कर और (दीगर) उम्दा ग़िज़ाएं बनाते हो, बेशक उसमें अह्‌ले अ़क़्ल के लिए निशानी है।

৬৭. আর খেজুর ও আঙ্গুর থেকে তোমরা চিনি ও (অন্যান্য) উৎকৃষ্ট খাদ্য তৈরী করো। নিশ্চয়ই এতে জ্ঞানীদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন।

68. اور آپ کے رب نے شہد کی مکھی کے دل میں (خیال) ڈال دیا کہ تو بعض پہاڑوں میں اپنے گھر بنا اور بعض درختوں میں اور بعض چھپروں میں (بھی) جنہیں لوگ (چھت کی طرح) اونچا بناتے ہیںo

68. Your Lord inspired the bees (saying:) ‘Make hives in the mountains, the trees and whatever they build.

68. And your Lord seeded (the idea instinctually) in the honeybee’s heart: ‘Make your hives in certain mountains and certain trees and (also) in certain projections people build aloft (like roofs).

68. Waawha rabbuka ila alnnahli ani ittakhithee mina aljibali buyootan wamina alshshajari wamimma yaAArishoona

68. Og Herren din innga (en tanke) i biens hjerte: «Lag du bikuber i noen fjell og i noen trær og i enkelte tak som folk reiser høyt.

68. और आपके रब ने शहद की मख्खी के दिल में (ख़याल) डाल दिया के तू बा’ज़ पहाड़ों में अपने घर बना और बा’ज़ दरख़्तों में और बा’ज़ छप्परों में (भी) जिन्हें लोग (छत की तरह) ऊंचा बनाते हैं।

৬৮. আর আপনার প্রতিপালক মৌমাছির অন্তরে (অভিপ্রায়) বপন করে দিয়েছেন যে, তুমি কোনো পর্বতে নিজের গৃহ নির্মাণ করো এবং কোনো গাছে এবং কোনো মাচায়(ও), যা মানুষ (ছাদের ন্যায়) উঁচু করে তৈরি করে।

69. پس تو ہر قسم کے پھلوں سے رس چوسا کر پھر اپنے رب کے (سمجھائے ہوئے) راستوں پر (جو ان پھلوں اور پھولوں تک جاتے ہیں جن سے تو نے رس چوسنا ہے، دوسری مکھیوں کے لئے بھی) آسانی فراہم کرتے ہوئے چلا کر، ان کے شکموں سے ایک پینے کی چیز نکلتی ہے (وہ شہد ہے) جس کے رنگ جداگانہ ہوتے ہیں، اس میں لوگوں کے لئے شفا ہے، بیشک اس میں غور و فکر کرنے والوں کے لئے نشانی ہےo

69. Then eat from (the flowers of) all kinds of fruit, and follow the ways made easy (for you) by your Lord.’ Then comes out from their bellies a liquid (i.e. honey) of different colours, in which there is a cure for the people. Therein is indeed a sign for people who reflect.

69. So, suck the juice of all kinds of fruit, and then follow those routes (suggested) by your Lord (which lead to these fruits and flowers of which you are to suck the juice, leading other bees also to the source) for their convenience.’ There oozes from their bellies a syrup (i.e., honey) of diverse colours. It has healing properties for the people. Therein is indeed a sign for those who apply their minds.

69. Thumma kulee min kulli alththamarati faoslukee subula rabbiki thululan yakhruju min butooniha sharabun mukhtalifun alwanuhu feehi shifaon lilnnasi inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yatafakkaroona

69. Sug så ut saften av alle sorter frukt, og vandre deretter på Herrens (tydeliggjorte) veier (som fører til disse fruktene og blomstene som du skal suge saft ut av); gjør det også lett (for andre bier).» Det kommer ut en drikke fra deres indre (honning) av forskjellige farger; i den er det legemiddel for menneskene. Sannelig, i dette er det tegn for det folk som funderer dypt.

69. पस तू हर क़िस्म के फलों से रस चूसा कर फिर अपने रब के (सुझाए हुए) रास्तों पर (जो उन फलों और फूलों तक जाते हैं जिनसे तूने रस चूसना है, दूसरी मख्खियों के लिए भी) आसानी फराहम करते हुए चला कर, उनके शिकमों से एक पीने की चीज़ निकलती है (वोह शहद है) जिसके रंग जुदागाना होते हैं, उसमें लोगों के लिए शिफा है, बेशक उसमें ग़ौरो फिक्र करने वालों के लिए निशानी है।

৬৯. তারপর তুমি সকল প্রকার ফল থেকে রস চুষে নাও; অতঃপর স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের (দেখানো) পথ অনুসরণ করো (যা এসব ফুল ও ফলে বিদ্যমান এবং যা থেকে তুমি রস চুষে নাও, অন্যান্য মৌমাছির জন্যেও) তাদের সুবিধার্থে। তার পেট থেকে পানীয় এক পদার্থ বের হয় (এটি মধু), যার রং ভিন্ন ভিন্ন হয়। এতে মানুষের জন্যে রয়েছে নিরাময়। নিশ্চয়ই এতে চিন্তাশীলদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন।

70. اور اللہ نے تمہیں پیدا فرمایا ہے پھر وہ تمہیں وفات دیتا (یعنی تمہاری روح قبض کرتا) ہے۔ اور تم میں سے کسی کو ناقص ترین عمر (بڑھاپا) کی طرف پھیر دیا جاتا ہے تاکہ (زندگی میں بہت کچھ) جان لینے کے بعد اب کچھ بھی نہ جانے (یعنی انسان مرنے سے پہلے اپنی بے بسی و کم مائیگی کا منظر بھی دیکھ لے)، بیشک اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی قدرت والا ہےo

70. And Allah has created you, then He causes you to die. And some among you are brought back to the frail old age, such that he may know nothing after (having possessed) some knowledge. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Capable.

70. And Allah has brought you into being; then He causes you to die; and He turns some of you to the most worthless age (i.e., senility) so that after knowing (so much in life) he should now know nothing (i.e., man may see to his helplessness and paucity of resources before death). Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.

70. WaAllahu khalaqakum thumma yatawaffakum waminkum man yuraddu ila arthali alAAumuri likay la yaAAlama baAAda AAilmin shayan inna Allaha AAaleemun qadeerun

70. Og Allah har skapt dere; deretter får Han dere til å dø (tar sjelen deres). Og noen blant dere blir vendt til mangelfull alder (alderdom), slik at etter å ha visst (mye i livet), skal han ikke vite noe som helst nå (at mennesket får se sin hjelpeløshet og ynkelighet). Sannelig, Allah er allvitende, allevnende.

70. और अल्लाह ने तुम्हें पैदा फरमाया है फिर वोह तुम्हें वफात देता (यानी तुम्हारी रूह क़ब्ज़ करता) है। और तुममें से किसी को नाक़िस तरीन उम्र (बुढ़ापा) की तरफ फेर दिया जाता है ताकि (ज़िन्दगी में बहुत कुछ) जान लेने के बाद अब कुछ भी न जाने (यानी इंसान मरने से पहले अपनी बे बसीओ कम माएगी का मन्ज़र भी देख ले), बेशक अल्लाह ख़ूब जानने वाला बड़ी कु़दरत वाला है।

৭০. আল্লাহ্ তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। অতঃপর তিনি তোমাদের মৃত্যু ঘটান (অর্থাৎ তোমাদের রূহ হরণ করেন)। আর তোমাদের কাউকে জরাগ্রস্ত বার্ধক্যের দিকে ফিরিয়ে নেন, যাতে (জীবনে অনেক কিছু) জানার পর এখন কিছুই না জানে (অর্থাৎ মানুষ মারা যাওয়ার পূর্বে নিজের অসহায়ত্ব ও অভাব-অনটনের দৃশ্যও দেখে যায়)। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ সম্যক অবগত, মহাক্ষমতাবান।

71. اور اللہ نے تم میں سے بعض کو بعض پر رزق (کے درجات) میں فضیلت دی ہے (تاکہ وہ تمہیں حکمِ انفاق کے ذریعے آزمائے)، مگر جن لوگوں کو فضیلت دی گئی ہے وہ اپنی دولت (کے کچھ حصہ کو بھی) اپنے زیردست لوگوں پر نہیں لوٹاتے (یعنی خرچ نہیں کرتے) حالانکہ وہ سب اس میں (بنیادی ضروریات کی حد تک) برابر ہیں، تو کیا وہ اللہ کی نعمتوں کا انکار کرتے ہیںo

71. Allah has given some of you an advantage over others in provision. Those who have been given an advantage are unwilling to pass their provision to the slaves they possess so that they become equal in this regard. So, do they reject Allah’s blessing (in this way)?

71. And Allah has preferred some of you to others in (grades of) provision (so that He puts you to trial through the command of spending in His way). But those who have been preferred do not divert (even a portion of) their wealth to (i.e., do not spend on) their dependants, whilst they all are equal in it (as for as their basic necessities are concerned). So do they deny Allah’s favour?

71. WaAllahu faddala baAAdakum AAala baAAdin fee alrrizqi fama allatheena fuddiloo biraddee rizqihim AAala ma malakat aymanuhum fahum feehi sawaon afabiniAAmati Allahi yajhadoona

71. Og Allah har gjort noen av dere overlegne andre i forsyningen (forsyningens rang), (slik at Han skal teste dere ved å befale om å gi for Hans sak). Men de som er blitt tildelt denne overlegenheten, gir ikke noe av sin rikdom til sine underordnede (de bruker ikke noe på dem), enda de er likeverdige i den (når det gjelder de grunnleggende behov). Fornekter de Allahs gunst?

71. और अल्लाह ने तुममें से बा’ज़ को बा’ज़ पर रिज़्क़ (के दर्जात) में फज़ीलत दी है (ताकि वोह तुम्हें हुक्मे इन्फाक़ के ज़रीए आज़माए), मगर जिन लोगों को फज़ीलत दी गई है वोह अपनी दौलत (के कुछ हिस्से को भी) अपने ज़ेरे दस्त लोगों पर नहीं लौटाते (यानी ख़र्च नहीं करते) हालां कि वोह सब उसमें (बुन्यादी ज़रूरियात की हद तक) बराबर हैं, तो क्या वोह अल्लाह की नेअ़मतों का इन्कार करते हैं।

৭১. আর আল্লাহ্ তোমাদের কাউকে কারো উপর রিযিকে (স্তর বিশেষে) মর্যাদা দান করেছেন (যাতে তিনি তোমাদেরকে ব্যয়ের নির্দেশ দিয়ে পরীক্ষা করেন)। কিন্তু যেসব লোককে মর্যাদা দেয়া হয়েছে, তারা নিজেদের দৌলত (এর কিছু অংশও) নিজেদের অধীনস্তদেরকে ফিরিয়ে দেয় না (অর্থাৎ খরচ করে না)। অথচ তারা সকলে এতে (মৌলিক প্রয়োজনীয়তার সীমা পর্যন্ত) সমান সমান। তারা কি আল্লাহ্‌র নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করে?

72. اور اللہ نے تم ہی میں سے تمہارے لئے جوڑے پیدا فرمائے اور تمہارے جوڑوں (یعنی بیویوں) سے تمہارے لئے بیٹے اور پوتے/ نواسے پیدا فرمائے اور تمہیں پاکیزہ رزق عطا فرمایا، تو کیا پھر بھی وہ (حق کو چھوڑ کر) باطل پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور اللہ کی نعمت سے وہ ناشکری کرتے ہیںo

72. Allah made for you spouses from among yourselves and gave you sons and grandchildren from your spouses. And He provided you with all the good things. Will they still believe in falsehood and disregard Allah’s blessings?

72. And Allah has created for you spouses from amongst yourselves, and has created through your mates (i.e., wives) sons and grandsons and provided you with pure sustenance. Do they still believe in falsehood (abandoning the truth) and disregard Allah’s favours?

72. WaAllahu jaAAala lakum min anfusikum azwajan wajaAAala lakum min azwajikum baneena wahafadatan warazaqakum mina alttayyibati afabialbatili yuminoona wabiniAAmati Allahi hum yakfuroona

72. Og Allah skapte ektefeller fra deres egen midte for dere, og gjennom ektefellene deres (hustruene) skapte Han sønner og barnebarn og forsynte dere med ren forsyning. Tror de fortsatt på det falske (ved å gi slipp på sannheten) og viser utakknemlighet overfor Allahs gunst?

72. और अल्लाह ने तुम ही में से तुम्हारे लिए जोड़े पैदा फरमाए और तुम्हारे जोड़ों (यानी बीवियों) से तुम्हारे लिए बेटे और पोत-नवासे पैदा फरमाए और तुम्हें पाकीज़ा रिज़्क़ अ़ता फरमाया, तो क्या फिर भी वोह (हक़ को छोड़कर) बातिल पर ईमान रखते हैं और अल्लाह की नेअ़मत से वोह नाशुक्री करते हैं।

৭২. আর আল্লাহ্ তোমাদের থেকেই তোমাদের জোড়া সৃষ্টি করেছেন। আর তোমাদের জোড়া (অর্থাৎ স্ত্রী) থেকে তোমাদের পুত্র এবং পৌত্র সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তোমাদেরকে পবিত্র রিযিক দান করেছেন। এরপরও কি তারা (সত্যকে ছেড়ে) বাতিলে বিশ্বাস রাখবে, আর আল্লাহ্‌র নিয়ামতে অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করবে?

73. اور اللہ کے سوا ان (بتوں) کی پرستش کرتے ہیں جو آسمانوں اور زمین سے ان کے لئے کسی قدر رزق دینے کے بھی مالک نہیں ہیں اور نہ ہی کچھ قدرت رکھتے ہیںo

73. And they worship besides Allah those (idols) which have no power to provide them anything from the heavens and the earth, nor are they capable (of doing such a thing).

73. And besides Allah, they worship those (idols) who are helpless to provide them with any provision from the heavens and the earth, nor do they have any power.

73. WayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi ma la yamliku lahum rizqan mina alssamawati waalardi shayan wala yastateeAAoona

73. Og de tilber de (avgudene) utenom Allah, som ikke makter å gi dem noen som helst forsyning fra himlene og jorden, og ei heller evner de noe.

73. और अल्लाह के सिवा उन (बुतों) की परस्तिश करते हैं जो आस्मानों और ज़मीन से उनके लिए किसी क़दर रिज़्क़़ देने के भी मालिक नहीं हैं और न ही कुछ क़ुदरत रखते हैं।

৭৩. আর তারা আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত এসব (মূর্তি)-এর উপাসনা করে, যারা আকাশমন্ডলী এবং পৃথিবী থেকে তাদের জন্যে বিন্দু পরিমাণ রিযিক দেয়ারও মালিক নয়, আর তারা না কোনো ক্ষমতা রাখে।

74. پس تم اللہ کے لئے مثل نہ ٹھہرایا کرو، بیشک اللہ جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتےo

74. So do not draw comparisons for Allah. Indeed, Allah knows, and you do not know.

74. So never put forward any similitude about Allah. Surely, Allah knows and you do not.

74. Fala tadriboo lillahi alamthala inna Allaha yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona

74. Framstill ikke lignelser om Allah! Sannelig, Allah vet, mens dere ikke vet noe!

74. पस तुम अल्लाह के लिए मिस्ल न ठहराया करो, बेशक अल्लाह जानता है और तुम नहीं जानते।

৭৪. অতঃপর তোমরা আল্লাহ্‌র জন্যে সাদৃশ্য নির্ধারণ করো না। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ জানেন আর তোমরা জানো না।
